Real life moms, talking about REAL LIFE. Three moms have come together to sit down in the studio and talk about the things that happen in their daily ventures of #MomLife. Hot mess express? Yep, that's us. Cuss a little and now your kids are spitting
Welcome to the SPICY edition of The Hot Moms Podcast for Valentine's Day 2022! We start off strong right outta' the gate with a *hilarious* (yet not for the weak of stomach) romance-gone-wrong story that we hope will be the highlight of your V-Day, as it was ours. We also get to hear about Charity's pre-birthday shenanigans, Lindsey's special field trip with The Hot Moms to experience a sex store for the first time (WOW), and discuss celebrity hall passes. We also get a bit serious and chat about the topic of 'romantic obstacles' post-kiddos (the struggle is REAL). This is an episode you DO NOT want to miss! From the bottom of our hearts: we love you, and thank you for listening. Happy Valentine's Day y'all! xoxo PS--If you have a romantic funny or fail story you want us to share on the next episode, PLEASE email it to us (thehotmomspodcast@gmail.com). We can totally keep the stories anonymous if you prefer--or not share them on the pod at all--but flood our inbox because we love hearing from you!
The Hot Moms are BACK!!! We took a teensy break, and we missed you all terribly. But now we're ready and coming in HOT (and a little spicy) for 2022. In this episode, Charity, Sarah & Lindsey share their goals for this year, as well as some of the future plans for The Hot Moms Podcast that y'all can look forward to. We chat a bit about alllll the snow days we've had here in the 757, take an accidental DEEP dive on plants, and give you a little taste of what's in store for February. We have so much that we're excited about in 2022 and these Hot Moms are *pumped* to share it with all of YOU!
Welcome to 2022, friends! We made it! Three days in. Great job, guys! Let's pat ourselves on the backs, shall we? We're just popping on to say “Hey, girl, heyyyyy!” before we take a teensy little break. We'll be coming in hot at the end of January though, so GET READY!!! Again, much love & thanks to you ALL for journeying with us as we've ventured into the world of podcasting these past few months. We're having the BEST time—and we hope you are, too. We'll still be hanging out on social media (Facebook & Instagram) during these few weeks off to chat with y'all about your New Year's goals, resolutions, 2022 plans…or about how your plan may be to just make it through 2022–we are here for it all, folks! It was our pleasure to be a part of your 2021, we're excited about being a part of your 2022, and look forward to being back with everyone soon! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! #theyearofthehotmoms #hotmommin

We also go off on an amazing tangent about the Olaf shorts (how hilarious are they?!). We hope you loved them, too. And of course we have some more gross #boymom content. You're welcome. (And “Ew!”) We pray that all of you out there in The Hot Moms Podcast-land have a WONDERFUL holiday break celebrating with your friends & families…and that good ol' St. Nick doesn't have to leave coal in any stockings this year! “MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, and to all, a good night!” *Links to things mentioned in this episode: Celebration in Lights (Newport News Park in Virginia) The Wonder of the Greatest Gift by Ann Voskamp (Kids Advent Book/Calendar) Grand Illumination (Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia)
Guess what time it is?!?! IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!! In our first of TWO Christmas themed episodes, we chat about the first EVER Hot Moms Holiday Give Back to benefit the Peninsula Rescue Mission, and we FINALLY chose the winner for the Teacher Giveaway we posted about on social media a few weeks ago (punctuality isn't exactly a strong suit over here at The Hot Moms Podcast, OK?!?!). We also talk about a certain jolly ol' fellow who dresses in red this time of year, discuss kid-pressure (hello, Elf on the Shelf), and dive into how we attempt to stay mentally healthy during the insanity of the holiday season. Here are ALL the details about The Hot Moms Holiday Give Back! The Peninsula Rescue Mission collects toys & outfits for kids ages newborn through 18 years, and they are accepting donations specifically for Christmas through December 14th (but feel free to donate all year-round): Amazon Wishlist Peninsula Rescue Mission website Address: 3700 Huntington Ave., Newport News, VA 23607 MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! (and yes, that was 100% sang to you the N*Sync way...the only way)
We took a dive SO deep about Thanksgiving food that we just *had* to turn it into its own episode. So please enjoy this surprise Thanksgiving Bonus Episode as you prepare to celebrate with family & friends, or to wind down after all the craziness is over! We also talk a bit at the end about the first ever Hot Moms Holiday Give Back! We will be sharing more about this in the next episode AND on Facebook & Instagram, so please keep an eye (and ear) out for those. In the meantime, here is the link to an Amazon Wishlist with suggestions on toys, clothes, etc. and they'll be shipped directly to the Peninsula Rescue Mission. Or, if you prefer to shop around for the best deals (hello, Black Friday), here is the address to have it shipped to them: Peninsula Rescue Mission, 3700 Huntington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607 The deadline for donations is December 14th, so let's get shopping! We hope you'll join us in giving back in some way this holiday season. [Amazon Wish List: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/N5WK25SWA2MO?ref_=wl_share]
It's Thanksgiving week and the Hot Moms are here. for. it! We loved having Soundmaster Price back with us in the studio for this one, and he had about as much fun as you can imagine he'd have listening to 3 AMAZING women ‘ramble on' (insert eye roll). Just kidding. He super loves us. No deep dives this time, but we have some pretty *fantastic* sidebars for you. Join us as we recap our Halloween costumes (and some not-costumes), chat a bit about astrology (Real? Fake? You decide!), and a ‘surprise-even-to-us' tangent on how to have healthy disagreements in relationships (a probably unnecessary disclaimer: we CLEARLY are not licensed professionals, so take this particular sidebar with a grain of salt). We obviously had to talk about what we're thankful for because, hello, it's THANKSGIVING! Spoiler alert: The Hot Moms Podcast is SO thankful for YOU, our incredible listeners! Feel free to leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, and PLEASE email us your Thanksgiving recipes and/or stories—funny, sentimental, sad—we're here for them all! We'd LOVE to share our favorites on @thehotmomspodcast on Facebook & Instagram. We hope everyone is able to have a wonderful time being with family, friends & #framily this week, and that you all have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
This week, take a little stroll down memory lane with us to the late 90s and early 2000s…that's right folks, if you're a thirty-something+ mama such as ourselves, we are now old enough to be ‘flashbacks', and these Hot Moms are a little salty about it! And for those younger moms out there who don't know what the heck we're talking about: strap in, you're along for a fun ride. Either way, come & reminisce with us as we discuss being sick as kids, what we watched (or didn't watch) on TV, and the FASHION y'all…oh, the fashion. We just CAN'T EVEN. We also stay true to our #topicsandtangents style, chatting a bit about boy mom issues (and girl mom issues—it seems boogers do not discriminate), disciplining our kids, schooling choices, and how much we ADORE teachers (they're the real MVPs). We touch on this in the episode, but we want to mention it again here: we are NOT saying that any of our personal choices with school or discipline are right or wrong—it's just what we have found that works for our individual families, and it's a constant learning & growing process. You do you, boo. One last thing: here is the link to “We Are the ECHO”, the fostering & adoption organization we talked about this episode. Please check them out!
Charity, Sarah & Lindsey are SO EXCITED for you to hear The Hot Moms Podcast first FULL episode! This week's topics include kids not asking their dad (and apparently sometimes, their mom?!) for anything, grocery shopping, and a DEEP DIVE on snacks. And of course, some tangents that you won't want to miss! We also want to give a HUGE thank you to Rob from the podcast “Go Ask Your Father." He was a big help in getting us up & running. Check out his awesome podcast here: Go Ask Your Father (It's probably fairly obvious, but just in case it's not: we are not sponsored by any of the brands we talk about in this episode…we just really love food.) We can't wait to start hearing from you! Email us at: thehotmomspodcast@gmail.com
Meet the Hot Moms! Here is our pre-episode, or as we like to call it, a 'prepisode' (that's right, we're not just The Hot Moms, but we're cool moms who make up cool new words, too). So please enjoy this quick(ish) conversation we had to introduce ourselves to you all...and to practice our newly found podcasting skills! We can't wait to start hearing from you all! Please email us at thehotmomspodcast@gmail.com
Here is a little taste of what we have in store for Season One of THE HOT MOMS PODCAST! We'd love to hear from you! Email us at: thehotmomspodcast@gmail.com
