Clinicians commuting, the best way to travel to work and understanding a portfolio career within healthcare. She has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry and is currently completing her Diploma in this. Her passion for psychology has led to her qualifying with a BSc in Psychology and in January 2020 she begins a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Well-being. Mahrukh is a certified teacher of mindfulness, resilience, well-being and mindfulness at work and we are privileged to have her on @underthetooth.

The diversity of dentistry allows you to relate any skill to the profession and it’s all about showcasing your talents. Episode 1 features our first podcast guest, Dr Natalie Bradley. - - Natalie graduated from Newcastle University before moving to London where she gained experience working in general dentistry, hospital dentistry, out of hours and community dentistry. She is currently a speciality registrar in Special Care Dentistry, Clinical Fellow with the Office of the Chief Dental Officer Scheme, NHS Clinical Entrepreneur and Blogger with her blog ‘A Tooth Germ’ reaching over 400,000 views. Her passion is finding solutions to allow the most vulnerable in society to access dentistry and she has previously set up a mobile dental van in East London which treated over 250 homeless people in 6 months who would not have been able to access care otherwise.  Join us on episode 1 at @underthetooth where we will be talking to Natalie about special care dentistry and the work she has been involved in. 

Our First podcast aims to introduce this new platform for dentists to connect and hear about the unique experiences of those in the dental field. Also a fun way of learning something new.
