Episode 22: Alexis Mamparo, Christian Del Rosario, and Mike Marszalik Wash your hands and stay the F@#* inside. I get to talk with two of my dancing nurse friends (and one of their friends decided to join us as well) who happen to be in the middle of all of the COVID-19 Pandemic. This very necessary interview gives the audience some insight as to what is happening in the hospitals, from different nursing perspectives. We get to see the ICU perspective from Christian and his friend Mike, and we also get to see an acute rehabilitation view from Alexis. These three gives their two cents on not only how to protect ourselves in this outbreak and how to "flatten the curve", but also providing a case study on the issues surrounding health care workers in this very crucial time. Episode 21: Joneil Escobar Believe In Yourself. Joneil is an amazing friend and neighbor that I happen to have an awesome conversation with last September/October-ish. I have been lazy and definitely put this episode in the back for so long, I decided to finally work on it and publish it. This episode goes through her origins as a child, how her parents encouraged her to try cool things. Eventually, we will get to hear the passion in her voice when she talks about the things she wishes (wished) she could do. Now she's over here killing it with her own podcast. Check her stuff out on all your podcast platforms, search the Blooming Project. It's a lovely podcast that explores different aspects of growth in her life and the lives of those she interviewed. Episode 20: Andrew Lee Do what it do baby. Caught up with my good friend, Andrew Lee, the day before he had to leave for Seattle. Although we have spent time together in Chicago from time to time, especially in the dance community, we haven't had a real conversation where we sat down and just took our time. Take a listen as I learn about his history, his interests, and where his future will be headed. Thank you for listening! Instagram: @v_lugo - Victor Lugo @andrewonejaylee - Andrew Lee
Episode 19: Emjay Mendez There is order in chaos. No matter what type of chaos you have, there will be some sort of order--being present is part of that order. I have known this guy since 2014-ish and I am so glad we met: we were at a TFK (The Future Kingz) workshop out in Bartlett and he asked me if I was Filipino and if I was a nurse. After saying yes, he asked me to guess how old he was. I was wrong. Boom. We kept talking that night and we kept seeing each other in a lot of dance workshops throughout the Chicago dance community (before I was in it). I have seen this boy grow to be a young man, from our struggles in Monday night with Monyett to performing together for Daily Center. We have been through a lot, and I am so excited for you, the audience, to have an insight as to what one of my best friend and I regularly talk about. Enjoy. Episode 13: Tiffany Steigerwald Beauty in simplicity. Hey guys! Welcome to season 2 of Vibes with Victor! This beautiful soul joined me for an impromptu podcast. We didn't have a lot of time because she had class in like 20 minutes, so I did a bullet interview to get things rolling and learn about her as much as I can in our allotted time. Pretty effective, I think. Enjoy the vibes-- Follow our Instagram: Victor Lugo - @v_lugo Tiffany Steigerwald - @tiffanysteigerwald

Episode 9: Zel Salazar What is a creative? I have gotten to know Zel over the past few months as the artistic adventurer who wanted to explore and be infatuated by his passions of photography and film-making. He is by no means the most experienced or the most talented in this field, but his yearning to just create for the sake of creating is inspiring to me. Talking with him is reminiscent of the first time I tried drawing, dancing, rock climbing, etc. The sense of the unknown and the excitement of truly experiencing life for its beauty is addicting. From his attempt to being in the seminary to his newfound goal to acquire a degree in Communications, Zel gives us a quick look into his life and his thought processes. Thank you for tuning in! I am still new to this, but I do it out of love and genuine interest in getting to know people for who they really are. Follow our Instagram: Victor Lugo - @v_lugo Zel Salazar - @zeltells
Episode 8: Frank Si Father of Dragons. My good friend, Frank, is joining me in this podcast as kind of a reference guide to a newly established father. He goes over how he and I first met and how we came to be really great coworkers and friends. He also explains me of the origins of his child's name(s), and he explains to me the feelings and experiences in the first 9 weeks of his child's life. This man is full of life, and he is sure to grow to become a great father. He is caring, and has a strong sense of duty to those who deserve it. He is indispensible. He is a great person, and definitely somebody you can trust. Enjoy this episode. Follow my instagram: Victor Lugo - @v_lugo
Episode 7: Kayla Simon Tiny but mighty. First meeting her during the weekly rehearsals for Mercy.PNG, Kayla has really become a close friend over the past few months as we confided in each other for relationship problems, dance, and seeking growth in ourselves. She definitely packs a punch as one of the stronger hitters of my dance team, Daily Center, but she has only started to tap into her emotional and softer side of dance and in her emotions. I hope you enjoy this episode as we talk about everything ranging from her journey through school, and digging deep while analyzing her strengths and weaknesses. Episode 6: Ron Amos Beginning a new journey. I met Ron a couple years back at a workshop in the suburbs. It was his first time dancing so he really was new to the community and to movement itself. Here I ask about his growth and where his dance journey has led him. He started off pretty solid, but had to take a hiatus to figure things out with life and his new job. Recently, he was bale to come back to the community, teach his weekly classes, and started really seeing his progress on his growth. It's quite amazing to see when somebody decides to chase after their dreams. He finds passion and love for it. I can't wait to see where his life will be headed. Episode 5: Travel Pack I apologize for some of the ASMR with the car and driving. ***** In this episode, I go on a quick vacation to Houston, Texas with the homies. Nick was going for a family vacation and Emjay was able to get an opportunity to teach at the Soundbox, a well-known studio in Houston. Kevin and I jumped on the train and now we have established our small group for traveling and dancing. Although we have just started this small group, we have learned much about each other and we have also taken the time to discuss many topics, CONFIDENCE being one of the main ones. Confidence stems from within and it often leads to improvement in a lot of other aspects in our lives. It can help us go through obstacles and without its power, we can't reach the best version of ourselves. Find out more on our thoughts, feelings, and opinions on the importance of confidence. Episode 4: Andy Sim Thrown into the wolves to come out leading the pack. Andy is a young, ambitious individual who aims to improve himself physically, mentally and emotionally. He wants to be a teacher. And to be a teacher, you have to be in tune with your thoughts and feelings pretty well. Andy does that. He is sitll working on that. It is a life long journey to enlightenment. Sure there are mistakes, and sure there can be low points in the journey, but the journey will always pick back and up. He is constantly growing in more ways than one. He won't stop. Catch me chatting with this kid about his journey to being the person he wants to be. Episode 3: Brian Guerrero Volleyball player. Male Nurse. Dancer. Brian and I met in 2015-ish, when volleyball was still such a big part of my life. I have caught a glimpse of his existence prior to that during a dance audition for Reversion Crew, which included some of my current friends. Life took the time to really get us connected--we are pretty much the same person with similar mindsets on life. His resume is lengthy because of how ambitious he can be. Unfortunately, like me, he tended to spread himself thin. In this episode, I ask Brian how he manages to handle his super busy lifestyle: from playing volleyball, to dancing with Daily Center, to being a full-time nurse, and leading some college organizations. It is crazy if you see his life on snapchat. It looks absolutely chaotic. But, if you listen to this podcast (hehe), you can learn a thing or two about how we both handle our crazy lives. Follo
Episode 2: Kevin Torio He's Mr. Nice Guy. Bring it back to circa 2013 at a dance workshop all the way in Streamwood/Hanover Park, IL. I knew nothing of dance, but I have met many people in the Chicago dance community. Kevin was one of the first people I met. He lived in the suburbs too, and he was an overall nice guy. Had no bad bone in his body. He emphasizes the art of letting go and being to kind to anyone and everyone. He's a role model to me, as he helped me get my feet wet into the Chicago dance community. He is ambitious and he is honest. Without his guidance, I wouldn't be as invested into dance. Thank you dude. Follow our Instagram: Victor Lugo - @v_lugo Kevin Torio - @pujypanda

Episode 0: Me An introduction to a new side of me. This is my new podcast. To me, nothing beats a good conversation, especially when you just start talking with somebody you just met or somebody you THOUGHT you knew. It makes life more interesting when you work on relationships, and not just the lovey-dovey kind. Every relationship is important in this web called life, so I thought why not? Why not just go into a deep conversation about everything and nothing at the same time? It is freaking amazing. So, join me every Saturday at 9 pm as I talk to people from all walks of life.
