Welcome back to ask uncut where we answer your deep, dark and burning questions.Britt’s broken a nail, Laura’s had to put up with a screaming baby for 45 minutes on the way to work and Keeshia is MIA because she’s as sick as a dog.Britt has the sh*ts with a truck driver who decided to order coffees and do his groceries while she (and others) were waiting for him to clear the petrol pump. Whose side are you on for this? Laura has given the delivery man a lot more than he expected when it came to signing for their package.Vibes for the week:Britt - Luna Lane Laura - Wayward on Netflix Then we jump into your questions! DO I LEAVE MY FIANCE? I am 24 and have a partner of 5 years who proposed at the end of last year. We have always been a solid couple and never used to fight, however, twice this year he has broken up with me whilst drunk and twice we have agreed to work things out and gotten back together. Our relationship has been reasonably stable since and we’re both working on things to be better for each other. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I went on a work trip and was flirted with at a bar by a stranger (this is very new to me). Since then, I have been in a spiral of wanting to invest in myself, live guilt free and have new experiences in my 20s or settling with the comfortable life that me and my partner have planned and what I currently know. I have tried really hard to move past his mistakes but I have a gut feeling that need some time to work on myself before I can be in another relationship but feel so guilty for thinking about possibly choosing myself. MY HUSBAND HATES MY TATTOORecently I told my husband of 18 years that I wanted to get another tattoo. He expressed in the past that he doesn't really like my tattoos but I enjoy having them, so YOLO. I told him I was going to get another one on my forearm for something I have been thinking about for a while. He said that of course he won't stop me, but he thinks he will find me less attractive. He was pretty honest. Fast forward, it's been two months since I've had it. I know it is my body, my choice, he said the same, and he recently told me he now finds me less attractive. I feel as though it's more a punishment just because I went and did it. I am really hurt by this as you can't take that back, where do we go from here? And should it matter that much? CAN YOU SHARE IUD CONTRACEPTIVE COSTS?I need to get my IUD replaced and I suggested to my boyfriend of 2 years that we split the cost (I live in the US and my insurance doesn’t cover it). He is flat out refusing and is acting shocked like it is so bizarre that I would ask. I just think that we both need to be equally responsible for birth control and since I have to undergo the whole thing and deal with any side effects I think it’s only fair that he helps with something! He even said ‘well it’s your choice so if you want to do it then do it’ but best believe the man would kick up a fuss if I insisted he always used condoms. For context, we both earn exactly the same salary and split almost everything in our relationship. Am I being unreasonable? He is usually an understanding person but somehow he is not getting my point. HOW TO SPLIT TICKETS?4 months ago me and my friend bought tickets ($75 each) to a live show where we are sitting together to hang out because we are super busy and never get to catch up. She just found out she has a wedding to attend on the night so can no longer go. I wouldn’t have booked tickets to this show if it wasn’t with her. What do you think her responsibility is? Should she pay for my ticket, give me her ticket so I can go with someone else, or is she free to give the ticket to a friend? It's time to — well, not exactly sprint, but maybe meander — into the final season of Girls! Hannah's Moth story has led to a New York Times piece which leads to a new assignment (from guest star Chelsea Peretti!) to head out to Montauk and write about a ladies surf group. She finds another notable guest star (Riz Ahmed!) to be her empty-headed vibes friend (with benefits) for the weekend, and to give her a bit of perspective on the difference between bonding over loving things, and hating things. Marnie and Ray babe themselves into what might be the beginning of the end of something, Shosh and Ray act like an old married couple and Marnie and Desi divorce themselves into another problem. Adam and Jessa meanwhile have put their violent domestic disputes behind them and have regressed into a couple of nude cavepeople for some reason. GIRLS! FINAL SEASON! Join us over on Patreon.com/KevinAndJon for EVERY episode of the Girls journey! The beginning of the end, pals.
Millions of Americans are behind on their retirement savings goals, and nearly 70% of those already retired wish they had started saving earlier. But Gen Z, the latest generation to enter the workforce, is an outlier, with the data showing that they are saving more than millennials and putting new emphasis on planning for the future. What gives? In this episode of "After the Fact," John Scott, who directs Pew's retirement savings project, explains new ways people can save more and earlier. And Taylor Price, a financial educator, influencer, and entrepreneur known online as Priceless Tay, discusses how she's trying to help close the financial literacy gap for Gen Zers.

Bill Kurelic's addition to the Mount Rushmore of recruiting gurus is matter of when not if. We've been so fortunate Kurelic blazed his trial for Bucknuts. We benefit again today as Bill shares highlights from his unmatchable career. Best player he saw in Ohio? Mark Porter even got in on this love fest. All that, video from this past weekend of Ohio linebackers C.J. Sanna (Ohio State commitment) and Ja'Dyn Williams (Indiana commitment ... for now). Not enough? How about a deep dive on the red carpet Ohio State's staff will roll out as Penn State limps into town this weekend. Spend 5ish with us this a.m., 'Nutters! Energy and mindset are two separate elements of who you are and how you operate. They're not parts of you—they're distinct forces. Your energy informs your mind and creates grooves in it, patterns that become set over time. So when you're trying to take that next leap or move to the next level, your energy actually matters more than your mind. What most people do is dig into the problem—analyzing it, unraveling it, turning it over again and again. But in doing that, you're just digging into problem energy, which only magnifies the problem. Sound familiar? Energy can create chaos, or it can create freedom. It can give you the highs and lows, or what I call the upward-trending cycle of success. When you want to scale—whether it's an idea, your finances, your relationships, your health, or even your spirituality—it requires a different energy waveform. Some call it frequency, but it's more than that. It's a tone, a texture, a color, a shape—it even has a scent. So, what energy are you putting out into your desire to reach the next level? That's the key question. If you're not dealing with your energy, then step into potentiality. Step into allowing. Step into the opportunity of what's possible on the other side. Because if you keep staring at the problem—the word, the hook, the difficulty—you're just feeding it. This is the work I do with people: I help you find the sticky point faster, so you can get free from it. But if you're working through this on your own, take a moment to allow. Breathe. Sit. Put your hand on your heart. Slow down for a second. When you're a high achiever, you go for success with intensity. But sometimes that very ferocity meets your problem head-on and amplifies it. So take a breath. Your energy matters—it's like a pebble in a pond. It ripples outward, magnifies, and reflects back through the people and experiences around you. Be aware. Sit with your hand on your heart. Don't just meditate—meditate from your heart. Not from your head, not from your will or focus, but from your heart. Because your heart is your other head. People say the gut is your second brain, but truly, your heart is your other mind. When your heart gets on track, magnetism happens—for you, around you, with you, and inside you. And sometimes you need a hand up with that—and that's okay. You don't have to do it alone. We're taught to, but energy needs a witness. It needs a helping hand to alchemize from one form to another, to transmute from lower to higher, and even higher still. Follow & Let's Get in Touch! Today I'm reviewing Hour of the Pumpkin Queen — a perfectly autumnal blend of cozy horror and slow-build suspense, wrapped in folklore, fall aesthetics, and that creeping dread that sneaks up on you chapter by chapter. With its rich seasonal atmosphere, eerie tension, and a heroine trapped between tradition and terror, this book hits that sweet spot between comforting and unsettling. If you live for Halloween energy, witchy stories, harvest legends, and horror with heart, this one absolutely belongs on your TBR.
About the New Orleans based group Captain Buckels, a band made up of top A-list musicians who have backed many household names! The majority of tracks on Hurry Up the debut album from "Captain Buckles" are funky, rockin' instrumentals written by guitarist Alexander Mallet: kickin', and organic. Captain Buckles takes risks, grooves and moves with powerful chemistry and a punk, irreverent attitude that prompts listeners to feel good to be human. "Bus Station Blues" and "Raindrops on Mardi Gras,” are soulful slinky tunes featuring masterful vocals by keys man Rob Davis. "This Time" is a rock ballad by a close friend of the group, Michael Darby. After years of incubating, Captain Buckles has found its own trademark sound steeped in the grooves and funk of New Orleans and the elements that make American music emotionally moving and stylistically unique. The band jams hard while emphasizing musical exploration and dynamic subtlety, showing the inspiration from of icons like The Meters, Allman Brothers, and The Band but utilizing those influences to create a style all their own. The members of Captain Buckles include New Orleans born-and-raised Rob Davis and Ezell Smith Jr., as well as Los Angeles transplant Smitti Supab, Pennsylvanian Phil Breen, who've both played professionally in the Crescent City for 13+ years. Florida ex-pat Alex Mallet is the newcomer of the crew having arrived a mere eight years ago. Before forming Captain Buckles, the members had performed with each other in various line-ups for years between touring as backing musicians with national and international acts like Eric Lindell, Samantha Fish, Russell Batiste, John "Papa" Gros, Glen David Andrews, and many others. They transitioned to working as a distinctive, butt-shaking unit all their own two years ago, a no-nonsense brotherhood of hard-working sidemen, championing good vibes and an intense love of music. The recording of Hurry Up was funded in part by a grant from the Threadhead Cultural Foundation (https://www.thcfnola.org/.). www.captainbucklesband.com. facebook.com/captainbucklesband. instagram.com/captainbucklesband. open.spotify.com/artist/3q8yPNmKITP14G9YOEnnrV. www.youtube.com/@captainbucklesband. music.apple.com/il/artist/captain-buckles/1758847494. www.amazon.com/music/player/artists/B0D9WR9Y79/captain-buckles. captainbucklesband.bandcamp.com About Music Matters with Darrell Craig Harris The Music Matters Podcast is hosted by Darrell Craig Harris, a globally published music journalist, professional musician, and Getty Images photographer. Two heavy-hitters walk into a dab rig. Buzz GMO and Red Velvet — Moxie's latest mash-up — and this one's a full-bodied experience. You get that funky garlic kick from GMO, smoothed out by the creamy, dessert-like feel of Red Velvet. It's the kind of strain that makes you forget your to-do list and remember your playlist. This live resin batter (sourced locally and crafted by Moxie) hits around 64% THC, with a chill 3% CBG and a full supporting cast of minor cannabinoids like CBC and CBD. That lower THC means it's not panic-inducing — it's peace-inducing. Expect a steady, balanced high that feels focused in the head but relaxed in the body.Terpene Profile:• Limonene – Uplifting citrus notes, mood boost.• Myrcene – Earthy calm, the couch-lock counterbalance.• Caryophyllene – That peppery, spicy body relief.• Linalool & Pinene – Light, floral, creative clarity.Flavor & Feel:Garlic on the inhale, silk on the exhale. There's this strange-but-sexy “velvety” coating on your tongue that fights off dry mouth — a rare win in the dab world. The high lands soft, creeping in about five minutes, leaving you clear enough to read a book or get lost in a good conversation.Perfect For:Saturday mornings with nowhere to be. Reading on the porch. Watching the sunset while you forget how time works.Final Thoughts:Moxie keeps proving consistency is king. This strain is the peanut butter and chocolate of cannabis collabs — bold, smooth, and just indulgent enough to feel special.Buzz GMOSave on Dr Dabber with Code: Cannabisschool10Save on Storz & Bickel with Code : CannabisschoolSave on Santa Cruz Shredder with Code: CSP10Save on Bomb Erigs with Code: CSPScore 100 on your test

Without being led astray by the impracticalities of business textbooks, there is good benefit to being more thoughtful in your approach to winning at business. A business owner is set up to always be one step behind if he's constantly reacting to what the market and his competitors throw at him. This is a formula for failure. Hope is not a strategy. Vibes aren’t strategy. Guessing is not a growth plan. Strategy is a set of decisions built on reality. It's making things happen, instead of waiting for them to. An owner should approach his business with intention and focused execution. That's what a more comprehensive strategy outlook provides. It sets you up better for the win.
