Today’s show was stacked, betch. We kicked off with the mum who stormed the ice mid-game, then got into the wildest socials update ever — Gina Liano told someone to shut up and Monica Lewinsky actually liked one of our reels (Joel still can’t believe it). The glossys had everything from Hughesy responding to his AFL injury, to Sydney Sweeney being linked with Scooter Braun, and Adam Sandler maybe getting an Oscar nod. But the headline stealer? A woman at Burning Man thought she had a stomach ache… turned out she was giving birth! Baby Aurora is here and thriving after one of the most chaotic deliveries ever. We wrapped it all with the scammer who faked heart attacks to get out of paying for dinner.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Emily McKinney and her boyfriend, Joe Johnson, are accused of lying to Kentucky State Police troopers about a dog attacking Emily's 10-month-old child. The attack happened in March 2024 and left the child with serious head injuries. Troopers said McKinney and Johnson lied about the dog that attacked the baby being a stray when it was actually Joe's dog. ELLUL 3 CAUGHT IN THE BRANCHES
Peter in the third chapter of his second letter tells us that one of the sign of the end times is that many scoffers will come mocking the return of Jesus saying when will he come. The truth is that he will come like a thief in the night and many will vanish in a twinkle of an eye. Peter emphasizes that time is very different for God compared to us and though is seams like a long time for us it is merely days for God. God is waiting not willing anyone would perish but the Day of Judgement is coming upon those embrace wickedness and Jesus his coming back for his bride before that day. The bride of Christ are those who have prepared themselves for his return by living a life that is pleasing to God, a life led by his Spirit and not by our carnal flesh. Everyday more and more signs of Jesus' return are coming to pass and we must make ourselves read for his return. The fist step is salvation then it's obedience to the holy Spirit leading who will lead us to life a life of righteousness.

“Leaders have to be a little delusional and have a lot of audacity.” From the first minutes, Jerjuan Howard plants that flag and then shows the receipts—why “youth development, community development must go hand in hand,” how a Gen Z squad of 30-and-under staff is running a league of 300 students across 20+ schools, and why “Detroiters…have everything that we need already—it's just about coming together to make it happen.” In this Detroit is Different conversation, Jerjuan and Khary trace a straight line from porch talk to policy: debates on whether to demolish the RenCen, backyard chickens and food grading ordinances, and the big one—“African cultural sovereignty… vs. political representation.” Jerjuan calls himself a middleman between elders and the youth—“my grandma used to say, ‘eat the meat and throw away the bones'”—so Umoja turns what kids already love (“kids already like to argue”) into a vehicle for critical thinking, city pride, and leadership. We dig into the audacity behind taking Detroit kids to Africa, the team-captain model that makes students league ambassadors, and why “indirect action is… just as responsible” as bad policy when communities are ignored. He lays out the build on Puritan: the open-air Umoja Village, a once–25-year-vacant building becoming a Black-authored bookstore and third space one block away (“for us and by us”), and a community-driven health clinic on deck—proof that Legacy Black Detroit isn't nostalgia, it's blueprint. The Marxist Dems caught in the cookie jar once again. The once 'party of the American people' are hemorrhaging voters at an alarming pace.
