Growing up with an eating disorder, Emma Demar knows firsthand what it’s like to go through treatment, learn how to cope on your own with the challenges of anorexia nervosa and, most importantly, how to come out of this experience on the other side stronger than before. She’s a therapist based in New York City, and now uses her own personal experiences and education to help others move through their journeys with eating disorders, OCD and anxiety so they can live a life free of these ties. In 2003, Courtney Osterfelt presented a senior project in college that was so successful, years later it's still her thriving full time career fueled by passion and motivation to improve the lives of teens. Encouraged by a tough past, Courtney turned her own experiences in high school into an opportunity to help teens now realize their potential and empower them to grow into confident, community-driven leaders.
