We women are notorious for helping meet other people’s needs, but not so great in knowing what to do with our own needs. But what if acknowledging our needs wasn’t a weakness but a doorway to God’s strength? In this episode, we dive into the story of the paralytic from Mark 2 and discover how faith, community, and vulnerability can transform our lives. Together, we’ll unpack what it means to bring our needs—emotional, relational, and spiritual—before Jesus. We discuss the difference between presenting needs and real needs and why Jesus sometimes doesn’t fix the thing we desperately ask him to fix. You’ll learn to delve into the need behind the need. We’ll also redefine “paralysis,” exploring the unseen barriers that hold us back. Whether you’re the one in need or the friend carrying someone to Jesus, you’ll be encouraged to persist in faith, break through barriers, and embrace the life oonly Christ offers. Treasured Wellness- Biblical Mindset Holistic Health, Christian Midlife, Improve Energy over 40, Overcome Fatigue & Stress

As a Christian, don't you want to have stronger trust and obedience? It's a journey of faith for sure. And your midlife wellness is a journey too. Think about your last provider appointment. How did it go for you? Did you have more questions than answers? Did you feel heard and seen? Were you given a script for a medication you didn't want but you felt desperate enough to try it? Here's what I know: Wellness is a journey. It's not a linier line. It's ups and downs. Hills and valleys. Good days and really horrible days. Frustrating medical appointments, non answers, dreams deferred or dashed, confusion and overwhelm. And it's also, days of hope, clarity into what your body is telling you, joy in the process, accountability and support along the journey. It's mornings waking refreshed. Evenings with energy to take that walk you keep putting off with your hubby. Friday night activities with the family or friends instead of making an excuse why you can't come. Wellness is a journey. It's not a straight line. Especially in this midlife season. I wish it were but the truth is it's not. And yet, even in the journey…. It can be easier. Doable. Simplified. We just need to lean into what God says in His word.  We all need this word from the Lord today. This is an episode that I encourage you to slow down and lean into… If you are able, settle into a comfortable chair and really let this word wash over you. Then, ask the Lord how this pertains to you specifically in your health journey. I pray this blesses you and strengthens you today! As a Christian women in this midlife season you are probably doing some sort of stretching or fitness routine to help your aching joints, menopausal belly bloat and for overall wellbeing. AND As a Christian woman, you want to hear the truth right? As a follower of Jesus, you want to hear the truth right from God's word. This conversation is rooted in biblical truth that God wants you to know about, regarding the fitness routine you may be innocently doing. More women in this midlife season are practicing yoga as they have found it is gentle on the joints. Yoga, tai chi and qigong are fitness modalities to help you build strength, stretch, relax and reduce some stress. But are they as innocent as they seem? These practices have deep and powerful spiritual roots that we all need to be aware of. The enemy is using these innocent seeming practices to twist what God clearly says is occult in His word. After all, the enemy's game is the same: to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Many believers, are inviting spiritual oppression into their lives and not even meaning to! Could this be the ROOT of some health issues that may be lingering no matter what you do? I sit down with Apostle Richard Taylor, founder of The Master's Table Ministry and Rabbonis Love INC- He brings a powerful and biblical view on the dangers of yoga tai chi and qigong and explains why it's vital that we are aware of these dangers that can deceive. I also invited Ondrea Lynn back from the Christian Woman's Weight Loss Podcast as she comes from an occult background where she was heavily involved in new age practices for 30 years. Ondrea has helped thousands of women reach their personal health and wellness goals and improve their physical and nutritional health, as well as their emotional and spiritual well-being.  As always, you will want to take everything you hear today to the Lord and seek Him on this topic. We were obedient to the Lord to bring you this information and it's now up to you to seek Him for your discernment and direction. I invite you to stay to the end for a powerful prayer that Apostle Richard prays over you. As always you won't just leave with information today. Information + implementation WITH God is what will bring you healing growth and restoration. The world screams, “more!” Do more. Be more. Have more. The pressure for more affects us all–just look at your schedule or “to-do” list as proof. It’s an exhausting way to live. But what if life could feel lighter, freer, and more joy-filled—just by letting go of things that weigh us down? In this episode, I share lessons from a challenging summer and a heartfelt conversation with my daughter about the power of identifying things I don’t need–not stuff like outdated clothes (although that’s not a bad idea!)-but rather, things that affect us on a deeper level. Together, we’ll unpack four common areas of mental and emotional clutter—from social media overload to self-criticism—and learn how to release them. Guided by Philippians 4:8, we’ll explore how clearing space in our minds creates room for peace and purpose. If you’re ready for more clarity and less chaos, this conversation will help you take meaningful steps toward living with intention. Treasured Wellness- Biblical Mindset Holistic Health, Christian Midlife, Improve Energy over 40, Overcome Fatigue & Stress

If you are a Christian woman in this midlife season, start taking your Biblical Supplements DAILY! I promise they will benefit you not only in this midlife season but for LIFE! What am I talking about? This is part 2 of a mini series I did on biblical supplements that every Christian woman in the midlife season needs.  On episode 313, we discussed the first 2 biblical supplements every Christian woman needs especially in the midlife season: perseverance and self-control. If you missed that, you aren't out of order! You can easily go back after todays episode or you can pause me now to go grab ep. 313 if you like to start from the beginning.  Walking out what the bible says takes time and intentionality. It's the action of surrendering to what we read in God's word and what we hear Him say to us.  Unlike actual supplements that you swallow for more energy, better sleep or smoother digestion, that you may or may not take each day, these 4 biblical supplements are non-negotiable.  We dive into the final two biblical supplements: knowledge and godliness. I speak about the world's way of knowledge vs God's way of knowledge. VASTLY different. For example, if you turn to artificial knowledge.... you will get artificial results. This is why advocating for oneself is so vital! You are seeking the Lord for his knowledge and then you are boldly advocating for yourself and your family. Settle in with your notebook and bible as you digest your biblical supplements! I pray this blesses you and strengthens you today!
