As a Christian women in this midlife season you are probably doing some sort of stretching or fitness routine to help your aching joints, menopausal belly bloat and for overall wellbeing. AND As a Christian woman, you want to hear the truth right? As a follower of Jesus, you want to hear the truth right from God's word. This conversation is rooted in biblical truth that God wants you to know about, regarding the fitness routine you may be innocently doing. More women in this midlife season are practicing yoga as they have found it is gentle on the joints. Yoga, tai chi and qigong are fitness modalities to help you build strength, stretch, relax and reduce some stress. But are they as innocent as they seem? These practices have deep and powerful spiritual roots that we all need to be aware of. The enemy is using these innocent seeming practices to twist what God clearly says is occult in His word. After all, the enemy's game is the same: to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Many believers, are inviting spiritual oppression into their lives and not even meaning to! Could this be the ROOT of some health issues that may be lingering no matter what you do? I sit down with Apostle Richard Taylor, founder of The Master's Table Ministry and Rabbonis Love INC- He brings a powerful and biblical view on the dangers of yoga tai chi and qigong and explains why it's vital that we are aware of these dangers that can deceive. I also invited Ondrea Lynn back from the Christian Woman's Weight Loss Podcast as she comes from an occult background where she was heavily involved in new age practices for 30 years. Ondrea has helped thousands of women reach their personal health and wellness goals and improve their physical and nutritional health, as well as their emotional and spiritual well-being. As always, you will want to take everything you hear today to the Lord and seek Him on this topic. We were obedient to the Lord to bring you this information and it's now up to you to seek Him for your discernment and direction. I invite you to stay to the end for a powerful prayer that Apostle Richard prays over you. As always you won't just leave with information today. Information + implementation WITH God is what will bring you healing growth and restoration. Nous sommes en 1227. Peut-être le 18 août. Victime d'une chute de cheval lors d'une partie de chasse, celui qui a régné sur le plus grand empire de l'histoire s'éteint en Chine. This 10-minute guided meditation is your reset button—a gentle way to clear the clouds and reconnect with the calm and clarity that is always within you. Ever feel like decluttering is just one more chore on your endless to-do list? In this episode, I share the story of moving into a new neighborhood, feeling completely alone, and how a simple plate of cookies helped me shift my energy from isolation to connection. Decluttering works the same way. When we reframe it from “I have to get rid of this” to “I get to give this,” the whole process transforms. Instead of feeling like drudgery, letting go becomes a privilege — a chance to create space, share abundance, and invite new energy into your life. If you've ever struggled to stay motivated while decluttering, this perspective shift will change everything. XO, Amber

In this episode, we're taking a trip back to the 90s and early 2000s with a look at The Biggest Loser and what that show can teach us about weight loss today. From there, I dive into new research to unpack what really drives weight loss and what helps keep it off long term. We'll talk about why exercise alone isn't the magic solution, how diet plays the bigger role in dropping pounds, and why physical activity is still crucial if you want to maintain your results and feel good in your body. I also cover the rise of GLP-1 weight loss drugs, why many people regain weight after coming off them, and what you can do instead to create sustainable change. If you're tired of quick fixes that don't last and want practical, science-backed strategies for real weight loss and maintenance, this episode is for you. Also, don't be shy! Planter's Punch is more than a recipe — it's a rhyme, a debate, and a cornerstone of rum history. From “one of sour, two of sweet” to its place at Kingston's Myrtle Bank Hotel, this punch has always been bigger than the sum of its parts. Guiding us through it all is Christian Favier of Charleston's Seahorse, bartender and educator on the deep ties between rum, history, and culture. Listen on (or read below) to discover Christian's Planter's Punch recipe — and don't forget to leave us a review wherever you get your podcasts! Christian's Planter's Punch Recipe - ¾ ounce lime juice - ¾ ounce cane syrup - 1 ¾ ounces high quality rum, such as Hampden Estate, R.L. Seales 12 year, or Doorly's XO - 8 - 10 dashes Angostura bitters - Garnish: mint sprig, grated nutmeg Directions 1. Add al ingredients to a large glass with some crushed ice. 2. Swizzle to chill and top with more crushed ice. 3. Serve with a straw and garnish with a mint sprig and grated nutmeg.

My Music Podcast — Graham Coath with Millie BushellA rising voice you'll be hearing a lot more from. In this episode, Graham sits down with 14-year-old (nearly 15!) vocalist Millie Bushell to talk covers, confidence and carving out a path in pop before GCSEs are even done. From covers to originals: how Millie and her manager pick cross-generational songs, and the plan to start releasing originals by 16.Finding her sound: building power, extending range (hello, lower register), and making big songs her own.Listening habits: why a “very happy, very bubbly” teen gravitates to sad songs—and Spanish tunes for bath-time vibes.Standing tall (literally): being 5'11", captain of the netball team, and juggling school, rugby, football and studio time.Age & the industry: stereotypes, jealousy nearby vs support online, and learning to “own it” without showing off.Guidance matters: the role of a BRIT-trained coach/mentor and a ridiculously supportive family team.Big dreams: support slots she's manifesting (Calum Scott, Tate McRae, Coldplay support slots), and why she wants her songs to help people feel seen.“I want people to know my name. I want stadiums. But most of all, I want people to connect with my lyrics the way I do.”Find her on Instagram/TikTok/Facebook: @MillieBushell_ and on Spotify (tracks include “Cry For You” and “XO”, with early Love Island support). If you enjoy discovering artists at the very start of something special, this one's for you. The world screams, “more!” Do more. Be more. Have more. The pressure for more affects us all–just look at your schedule or “to-do” list as proof. It’s an exhausting way to live. But what if life could feel lighter, freer, and more joy-filled—just by letting go of things that weigh us down? In this episode, I share lessons from a challenging summer and a heartfelt conversation with my daughter about the power of identifying things I don’t need–not stuff like outdated clothes (although that’s not a bad idea!)-but rather, things that affect us on a deeper level. Together, we’ll unpack four common areas of mental and emotional clutter—from social media overload to self-criticism—and learn how to release them. Guided by Philippians 4:8, we’ll explore how clearing space in our minds creates room for peace and purpose. If you’re ready for more clarity and less chaos, this conversation will help you take meaningful steps toward living with intention. Because sometimes knowing what we DON’T need is just as important as knowing what we DO need. Xo, Donna Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss a single episode! If you are a Christian woman in this midlife season, start taking your Biblical Supplements DAILY! I promise they will benefit you not only in this midlife season but for LIFE! What am I talking about? This is part 2 of a mini series I did on biblical supplements that every Christian woman in the midlife season needs. On episode 313, we discussed the first 2 biblical supplements every Christian woman needs especially in the midlife season: perseverance and self-control. If you missed that, you aren't out of order! You can easily go back after todays episode or you can pause me now to go grab ep. 313 if you like to start from the beginning. Walking out what the bible says takes time and intentionality. It's the action of surrendering to what we read in God's word and what we hear Him say to us. Unlike actual supplements that you swallow for more energy, better sleep or smoother digestion, that you may or may not take each day, these 4 biblical supplements are non-negotiable. We dive into the final two biblical supplements: knowledge and godliness. I speak about the world's way of knowledge vs God's way of knowledge. VASTLY different. For example, if you turn to artificial knowledge.... you will get artificial results. This is why advocating for oneself is so vital! You are seeking the Lord for his knowledge and then you are boldly advocating for yourself and your family. Settle in with your notebook and bible as you digest your biblical supplements! I pray this blesses you and strengthens you today! Hey Friends! If you've ever started decluttering and then… just stopped, you're not alone. It's not because you're lazy. It's not because you're bad at organizing. And it's definitely not because you “just need more motivation.” There's often something deeper happening — something your clutter might actually be protecting you from. I hope this episode shifts something in you and allows you to move forward. It's about who we become in the process that creates the transformation of both you. and your home. XO, Amber

What if one simple shift in how you pray could shape a child’s whole future? In this episode, we dive into the power of intentional prayer using Luke 2:52 as a guide—praying for wisdom, character, and spiritual favor over the kids we love. We’re all keenly aware of the negative influences surrounding our kids today through social media and culture. But instead of worrying, what if we became warriors over our kids through prayer? This week’s episode makes prayer for our kids easy and do-able. We also talk about the importance of encouragement and how one teachable moment at a fairground reminded me of what not to do to help our kids love God. I share four things even well-meaning parents do that accidentally hinder our child’s spiritual growth rather than help it. With personal stories and practical tools, this conversation will inspire you to pray with purpose, speak life, and surround your child with mentors who reflect God’s grace. You’re not parenting alone—and God’s got big plans ahead. Whether they’re toddlers or grown adults, your prayers matter. In today's diary episode:I'm sharing more inside scoop on my own story, starting with the updates that have happened over the last couple of months, my personal experience of how Tai Chi came into my life, what in the world is it and what has been my experience & why behind it?How layoffs might be challenging us to pivot in the short or long term, only time will tell.Uncertainty and messiness of potential transition. The huge fears that come up sharing different parts of what I'm learning and doing outside of my past corporate role in Recruiting and how I gain clarity step by step, moment by moment, moving away from asking for external input, validation, advice and making the moves.I think that overthinking, analysis and questioning comes from not knowing how it'll all work out, all I can do is put one foot in front of the other and that's how we walk thru the door:)Here is the Linkedin post I mentioned
What to Expect While Fostering and Adopting | Adoption, Foster parent, Foster care, Adopting
This week's episode is one I hope every adoptive and foster parent listens to - and listens with an open heart. I'm honored to sit down with Sydney Curtin - birth mom, author of Courageous Considerations, speaker, life coach, and founder of Curtin Call - as she shares the raw and painful truth about her adoption story, and why she's now advocating for ethical reform across the entire industry. In 2019, Sydney made what she believed was the most loving and selfless decision a mother could make - placing her daughter for adoption. What followed was a heartbreaking unraveling of promises made to her and her child. From being coerced into signing away her rights to experiencing the gut-wrenching reality of an unenforceable open adoption, Sydney's story exposes what many don't realize about the current adoption system. Together, we talk about: • The myth of open adoption • Why adoption must be treated as a lifelong relationship, not a transaction • How faith, courage, and grief shape the journey for birth moms • What it looks like to center the child while honoring both families involved Sydney's book, Courageous Considerations, is a powerful tool designed to help both adoptive and natural families ask the hard questions before, during, and after placement. Because adoption, when done right, is not the severing of one family - it's the joining of two. Whether you've adopted, are considering adoption, or want to better understand the full picture of what ethical, relational adoption can look like - this conversation will challenge you, stretch you, and invite you into something deeper. ☕ Grab your coffee, get comfy, and let's dig in. XO, Christine Marie
