Aaron Feuer is CEO and cofounder of Panorama Education, a Boston-based company that helps schools improve through data analytics that was developed during a 2012 YEI Fellowship. Panorama uses feedback surveys of students, parents, and teachers to improve teaching and school culture. Panorama is used in more 5,000 schools serving more than one million students, with clients including Los Angeles Unified, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, New Haven Public Schools, Achievement First, and Teach for America. Aaron is a proud product of Los Angeles public schools.
Josh is an active entrepreneur and investor who cofounded Infonautics Corporation and took it public while a student at the Wharton School. He later founded Half.com, which was acquired by eBay, and helped found anti-spam company TurnTide. In 2004, Josh founded First Round Capital to reinvent seed-stage investing.
Ilana Odess is the CEO of Woven Orthopedic Technologies, LLC. For more than 20 years, Ilana has been active in the healthcare industry as a senior executive for large multinational companies and startups. Ms. Odess has held leadership positions such as chairwoman, founder, and investment manager. During her career, Ms. Odess received a Frost & Sullivan award for innovation, and a 2014 Entrepreneurial innovation and Leadership award in the state of CT. She also created three businesses later acquired by multibillion dollar medical device companies.
Marc Cenedella is the Founder and Executive Chairman of TheLadders, the premier online job-matching service for career-driven professionals, which has transformed the way job candidates and recruiters connect online. He founded the company with Alex Douzet and Andrew Koch in 2003, formerly serving as CEO, and is based in the New York headquarters. Under Marc’s leadership, TheLadders has grown to more than 6 million members, making his weekly “Career Advice” newsletter to members among the largest and longest-running newsletters of its type in the world.
Victor Wong (YC ’11) is one of the cofounders of the successful San Francisco-based advertising technology startup PaperG. The company was built through a 2008 Summer Fellowship at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute (YEI), raised over $2 million in capital, reached profitability in 2013 and now has about 60 employees and tens of millions in annual revenue. PaperG’s technology creates custom, localized display advertising for clients using logos, photos and online testimonials pulled from across the Internet in a matter of seconds. Clients include: Hearst, Tribune, Time Warner Cable, DexOne, Yellow Pages Group and MediaNews Group.
