Episode 895 | Adriel Sanchez and Bill Maier answer caller questions. Show Notes CoreChristianity.com Questions in this Episode 1. I am witnessing to my coworkers and am beginning to read the Bible with them. They are asking me which book of the Bible they should start reading so that they might avoid being confused. Can you help? 2. I feel like I am withdrawing from my friends and my job and am becoming more focused on the Word and my understanding of the Scriptures. Is there an issue with this? Is it a bad thing to separate yourself from others in order to study? 3. Will we really recognize our loved ones in heaven if our bodies will be completely transformed? 4. What does Paul mean in Galatians 2:17-19 when he says, “For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God”? 5. I'm a man living alone in his later years and am tempted by lust. I keep going to this sin, asking for forgiveness, and then sinning again. It grieves my assurance. I need to hear from other men of faith how they overcame it, and are they just lying to themselves? It's undeniable that for the past 2000 years the writings known as the Holy Bible have pretty much gone viral the globe over. These were the stories I was raised with, and are as core to my being as Uncle Ben saying "With great power comes great responsibility" or knowing that Superman was sent to earth as a baby to be saved from his dying home planet (which is an origin rooted in a famous Bible story in case you didn't know). It's been shocking to me that more and more people I meet (mostly millenials, and mostly outside the Bible belt) don't have the foundation of these stories that I do, which is a shame because they are amazing! (The stories, not the millenials...just kidding!!) That's where this show comes in! Have you ever wanted to know more about the Bible? Ever wondered about how it all fits together? Have you ever been just a little bit curious about what all the hype is about, but not actually curious enough to pick one up yourself and try and read it? Well, have I got the solution for you! Hi, and welcome to the first ever episode of the show where I drink too much and talk about my favorite Bible stories! In this Pilot episode we go over the basics of the show, discuss what you can expect, drink my special occaision Lagavulin 16, and lay the foundation of the Bible's arc as a whole to help set the stage for future episodes. Welcome to Getting BIBLACHOL!

RESCHEDULED -- 8:00 pm Sunday, "Radio Free Pagans," host Rosanna Tufts: "Frenemies: The Constitution and the Bible." Following on from last week's discussion about the true nature of Idolatry, Rosanna turns to focus on THE LAW. We are supposed to be a nation of Laws. But WHICH laws? The Laws of the Constitution, or the Laws of the Bible? Ever notice how liberals lean to the former, while conservatives would much prefer the latter? Be careful what you wish for . . .
