Chrissy Daniels, chief experience officer at Press Ganey, says this year the patient experience must prioritize accessibility and equity in care. She shows how hospitals and health systems can accomplish this and much more.
Chrissy, currently the Chief Experience Officer at Press Ganey LLC, speaks with Adam and Dan on her interest in behavioral economics. She emphasizes throughout the conversation how medicine can improve when there is mutual trust between patients and care providers. She touches on the digital consumer experience and how that might affect patient experience both in a positive and negative way. This leads to allow patients to express what they found both helpful and frustrating. The challenge then is how to provide transparency and authentic feedback from consumers while protecting individuals from anything that might be defamatory.
