Matt and Shahir will definitely lose the talent portion but could make up some points in the dance section! We know you're not here for the pageantry so we'll skip the spoilers and just say this: See Channing Godfrey People's debut film immediately! Then listen in to find out why we think it's terrific and deserves to be seen. A conversation with Rachael Edwards, a longtime Amarillo artist known for a diverse body of work, including her annual Back Alley Gallery shows and the enormous mural at Six Car Pub & Brewery. With host Jason Boyett, Rachel describes her upbringing as the daughter of two local jazz musicians, how she has built an art career in a constantly shifting world, and how the idea for her next Back Alley Gallery (June 29) came about. This episode is sponsored by Wieck Realty. Support the show via Patreon and grab BeerFest tickets HERE.
Rachael Edwards is a second time guest on the podcast. This time, she promotes her Back Alley Gallery which will take place June 29, in a back ally at 1st and Taylor St. in downtown Amarillo. Rachael merges the street art scene with the format of a tradition formal art show. In this episode, we mostly talk about Artificial Intelligence and question what it means to be human. This was a fun conversation, and I encourage everyone to check out Rachael’s Instagram and follow on Facebook for more details.Featured music by: Vamping, Smooth Taste, Ugly Chulo, and David Bowie

Simon is a palliative physician in Calgary and a member of the O’Brien Institute for Public Health at the University of Calgary. He divides his time between inpatient and community practice and, in 2016, helped to found the Calgary Allied Mobile Palliative Program (CAMPP) with Rachael Edwards of Calgary Urban Project Society (CUPS). CAMPP was established in response to the inequity experienced by homeless and vulnerably housed patients at end of life. Previously, Simon worked with Doctors Without Borders in Afghanistan and Doctors of Two Worlds on a trip to Nepal. Learn more about Calgary’s Allied Mobile Palliative Program (CAMPP).
