Jesus wasn't offended that some His disciples who were worked and walked with Him physically struggled to believe that He is risen; He is still not offended that people today, over 2000 years later, struggle with this truth. However, He is patiently waiting for you and everyone else to just believe. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, we're so glad you're here. Today we will be taking a look at the book of Matthew in preparation for Easter (SUNDAY 04/20/25) Today's Sermon will look at Matthew 28:01-10 "The Ressurection of King Jesus"
On this Easter Sunday, Pastor Alexander declares the way the resurrection power is going to come into your life is through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit! But before there can be a resurrection there first must be a death. You will never have a resurrection without a death. We generally don’t like death, but it’s how you respond in your death experience that is going to determine your resurrection. If you will allow the Holy Spirit to indwell your vessel, you too will experience resurrection power.

Where was Jesus after He died and before He rose. Is it right to celebrate Jesus' torture and death on Easter? Was the resurrection necessary? Do we know where Jesus' tomb was?
Easter is the time of year in which Christians celebrate the victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after His crucifixion. In the Christian faith Jesus Christ is the son of God (aka God the Son), who willingly gave himself up to die on the cross for all our sins, as the spotless and unblemished sacrificial lamb of God. In doing so, He paid the price forall men and women, conquering sin and redeeming us, so that they who receive Him as Lord and Savior shall never perish but shall know eternal life in Heaven. For this reason, Christians take Easter very seriously as the main observance in their calendar which defines their faith as all of Christianity and the heart of the Gospel (translated: Good News) revolvesaround the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
