We've all heard some of these classic English proverbs: "Money Can't Buy Happiness" or "Live Everyday Like It's Your Last" and although they are well intentioned... when you stop to think about it, they're actually kind of NAIVE. In Episode #48 of That Cousin Show podcast, we go through a list of 15 different proverbs or common sayings that we've all heard as a good source of wisdom and dissect how they are actually bad advice. We guarantee you have heard these common sayings before and discuss / debate the literal and philosophical meaning behind each saying. Some of these could be used as good advice but even if it's a catchy Beatles song, it's best to not take everything you hear at face value. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below!
