Cuban opens up about family life, his growing company Cost Plus Drugs, and his view of American politics—spoiler: he's not a fan of either party. In classic Norm fashion, the chat flows from heartfelt reflections to sharp insight, with plenty of humor along the way. From fake pharmaceutical studies to pitch emails gone wrong, this is Mark Cuban at his candid best — confident, self-aware, and always one step ahead.

Morning Mantra: "Live life with more 'I can't believe I did this!' instead of 'I should of done it.' "In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take, the relationships we were afraid to have, and the decisions we waited too long to make.Overtime people regret what they didn't do more than what they did do. Regrets of inaction are far more common than regrets of action. In history as in life, regret does not bring back a lost moment. But regret is a tough and fair teacher. It is also a form of punishment in itself. So if there's something on your bucket list that you want to do, go after it. Don't make up excuses, don't second-guess yourself, don't worry about what others will think of you.Go for it now. The future is promised to no one.#BeWillingToDoIt #BeHappy #BeHorsey #BeHippie #HorseHippie #MorningMantra #WordsToInspire #InspirationalQuotes #SmallBusinessOwner #WomenOwned #HorseHippieBoutique

The Inspiring Life and Legacy of William Borden, a Man of Unwavering Faith and Profound Impact William Borden was extraordinary in almost every sense. Born into wealth and privilege, he could have chosen to live a life of luxury and ease. Instead, he surrendered it all for a life of service to Christ. "Borden of Yale" is the riveting account of a man who exemplified what it means to be fully committed to God. Raised in Moody Church in Chicago and educated at both Yale and Princeton, Borden first felt the missionary call during a round-the-world journey gifted to him by his parents at the age of sixteen. The following year, he received a distinct call to dedicate his life to serving the Muslims of China, a decision that shaped everything he did from that point forward. Though a scholar in his own right, Borden's theological insights were not merely intellectual pursuits; they were living beliefs that propelled him into action. From leading Bible studies in dorms and founding the Yale Hope Mission to serving as a director at the National Bible Institute and spearheading evangelistic efforts that impacted the entire city of Cairo, Borden was unwavering in his commitment to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. As promising as his life appeared, Borden passed away in Egypt while en route to serve the Muslims in China. Thousands mourned, contemplating what might have been. Yet countless others have been inspired to follow in his footsteps to the mission field. William Borden was a visionary, a trailblazer, and an inspiration for all who seek to follow Jesus Christ. This is not just a book; it's an invitation to reevaluate what truly matters and to live wholeheartedly for the Lord.

Have you ever found yourself halfway through a concert, dinner party, or even a family gathering and thought, “OK, I'm ready to go now,” even though you're having a good time? You're not alone, and it doesn't mean you're antisocial or ungrateful. In this episode, host Gabe Howard sits down with Jodi Wellman, a positive psychology expert and TEDx speaker, to unpack the surprising psychology behind wanting to leave events early.Together, they explore why both introverts and extroverts can feel this way, introducing concepts like “experience efficiency” and “memory optimization.” Learn how our brains process peak moments, why leaving on a high note can actually enhance our memories, and why you don't have to “get your money's worth” by staying until the very end. Key takeaways: Find out why some people feel “full” on fun faster and don't need to stay until the end to enjoy an event. Reframe early exits as a smart way to manage energy, time, and joy—without guilt. Learn practical language for confidently setting boundaries when you're ready to go, without shame. Discover how even the most outgoing people can feel “peopled out.” If you've ever snuck out of a party, left a holiday dinner before dessert, or wondered why you plan your exit before you even arrive — this episode is for you. “And yes, there is a purpose to the dinner and the tasting menu that goes all the way to the end. And yes, of course, we rationally know that. And yet, those of us who are experience minimalists are still OK to say, I got my fill. I got the appetizer and I had part of the entree. And admittedly, not many of us are kicking back our chairs and leaving halfway through dinner. But metaphorically, this works. When we know we've had our fill and we feel truly good that, wow, I got the songs I needed and wanted or look, I did most of the hike and I don't have to get to the top. I'm cool to go back. I feel good about myself. That's the thing. Are you having a good time and do you want to end on a high? That is, to me, sound judgment about living a life worth living.” ~Jodi Wellman, MAPP Our guest, Jodi Wellman, is the founder of Four Thousand Mondays, a speaker, author, and assistant instructor in the Master of Applied Positive Psychology program at the University of Pennsylvania. Regret is one of the most powerful emotions, and can weaken us and wear us down in multiple ways. Jesus taught this by referring to Lot's wife, whose regret was marked by proximity to, and permissiveness about, sin. Aslo, because regret is sourced in self-focus, we need to learn from our past, align with the Lord in the present, and see how His care and protection guides us for our future. Life in a broken world can feel overwhelming—oppression, envy, loneliness, and comparison are everywhere. But even in the middle of all this, God offers a better way. In “No Regrets in a Broken World,” Pastor John Sellers teaches us how to live without regrets by choosing contentment, community, and compassion. “No regrets” is an American slogan along with “No Fear” and “Just Do It.” Yet more often than not we don't “just do it,” having no fear is psychopathic, and having no regrets means you have no sorrow for ever hurting anyone or making a mistake. Regret is simply recognizing sadness or disappointment about something we did we wish we hadn't, or we didn't do and wish we had, and Dan Pink's research showcases it's a massive power if we'll recognize it and learn from it. Not as he says, reject it or wallow in it. The following conversation was my second time having Dan on the show. Dan Pink is a multi-best selling author, and when I say best selling, I don't mean one day on an obscure Amazon book category like Amish Romance, but the actual New York Times bestseller list. You'll likely recognize his books such as A Whole New Mind, To Sell Is Human, and When. His books have sold millions of copies, have been translated into forty-two languages. He also has a TED talk titled “The Puzzle of Motivation” which has somewhere north of 30 million views. I recently saw him being interviewed by Oprah Winfrey. Dan is an author like Brene' Brown who leads with research, and he's now turned his focus to regrets with his new book, The Power of Regret: How Looking Backward Moves Us Forward. I asked him back on the show the moment I saw the book title and you're about to hear me dig in with him on how we can harness regret for our progress, not suffer or run from it. Host, Joey Svendsen lost his dad unexpectedly over the summer. On this episode, he is joined by three friends and fellow Seacoast staff as he shares what it was like to lose his father. He also describes what felt like supernatural activity right before his dad passed away in the hospital. Joey articulates the current state of his heart and counts his sadness as good grief as he tributes, with thanksgiving, the blessing of being raised and loved by his dad, Virgil Svendsen. Along the way, Joey, Abbie, Bri, and Pastor Teddy, ponder the afterlife and whether the dead have any interaction with (or knowledge of) life on earth. They also talk about the power of music and reflect on the dangers of going on a cruise as a new popular Netflix documentary recounts the story of a girl who boarded a cruise ship and was never seen again. 497-Living a Life of No Regrets in Marriage and Faith [Re-Release] (Previously Titled: Changing OURSELVES in Light of Eternity) Hello, listeners! As we continue to work on our recording our very first in-person trainings, we hope you will enjoy some of the re-releases from the past few years of the Delight Your Marriage podcast (It has certainly been sweet to us to re-listen and share some of our favorites with you!) For this week, we hope you will enjoy a little bit of Christmas in the summertime as we talk about living life in light of eternity. Christmas is certainly a wonderful time to remember who Jesus is and why he is worthy of our lives, but we think a balmy day in August is a good time to remember that also. Enjoy this re-release and we look forward to sharing some other favorite episodes with you soon! God bless! Marriage as Your First Assignment Before God When we think about standing before Jesus one day, many of us imagine wanting to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” But how often do we connect that vision with our marriages? The truth is, God has entrusted you with a spouse—not by accident, not as an afterthought, but as a sacred assignment. Your husband or wife is your first ministry. Loving God by Loving Your Spouse Jesus told us the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength—and the second is like it: to love our neighbor as ourselves. And who is your closest neighbor? Your spouse. No one else can encourage your spouse like you can. No one else can pray for them, serve them, or provide safety and intimacy in the same way. Your marriage is one of the clearest ways to live out your love for God. When you choose to love your husband or wife with gentleness, patience, and sacrificial love, you are actually loving Jesus. Integrity, Intimacy, and Safety Loving your spouse well isn't just about words—it's about integrity. It's about creating true safety by guarding your heart, your eyes, and your thoughts. It's about saying no to distractions that cheapen your focus—whether that's pornography, busyness, or pouring your energy into hobbies instead of your home. When you choose discipline, integrity, and faithfulness, your spouse experiences the safety God designed marriage to provide. And intimacy—emotional, spiritual, and physical—flows from that foundation. A Life with No Regrets This life is short. One day, you and I will stand before Jesus. What will we be able to say about how we loved? Did we prioritize our marriages? Did we love our spouses as Christ asked us to? Did we make sacrifices to ensure our marriages reflected His heart? The good news is—it's not too late. Today, you can choose to love your spouse as your first assignment before God. You can choose to realign your priorities and live with no regrets. Your Invitation Your marriage is not just about you and your spouse—it's about reflecting Jesus to the world. When you love your spouse well, you glorify God. Take some time today to ask: What does it mean for me to love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength? How can I show that love to my spouse in practical, tangible ways? What do I want to be true of me when I stand before Jesus? Friend, don't waste the life God has entrusted to you. Start with the person He's placed right by your side. Your first neighbor. You can do this. God bless you, The Delight Your Marriage Team PS - If you are ready to join our Coaching Programs, we would love to chat with you! My expectations were rarely met and I could be quite cold. My moods would overflow into my parenting and even work. After 20+ years of this I had very little hope that things could change. I was not going to leave my family, but I did seek to escape through alcohol and pornography at times... [Now,] My wife has told me she feels safe. She has begun to trust that my change is not a passing fad. I have gained understanding in how to love her well. I look forward to being around her, and to pampering her and loving her well. This has overflowed into intimacy emotionally, spiritually, and physically...I didn't realize how much pain I was causing her, or how self focused I was. I was trying to get her to change and should have been working on me."
