This conversation serves as a follow-up to our first episode, where we spoke with Rich's son and CEO, Todd Vance. We'll hear Rich's perspective on the company's history, from its early days as a General Store in 1938 to its transition to selling firearms and outdoor equipment in the late 70s. Andy and Todd (Vance could not make this podcast) talked with Andrew Boyd on the phone. Andrew is a fan of the podcast and resides near Chicago. He reached out to me (Andy) on Facebook, after a few messages we got him on the show for a phone in. After a short introduction he talked about fishing the lakes in his area. Todd had some experience in that area of the country from fishing the PMTT and exchange a few few stories. Andy tells the readers digest version of his biggest fish, that had several chances to shake the hooks. Andrew ask the question about bait color. Is their something more to it, or it does it not really matter. The guys discuss colors for the last half of the podcast.
