Dermot Manning will be continuing the series looking at the Eastern Countries' entries for this year.   Meet the Eurostars 2025:  The 15th edition of Eurovision in Concert took place on 05 Apr 2025 from Amsterdam's AFAS LIVE venue with acts from 30 countries that are competing at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 to showcase their entries to the 6000 plus Eurovision Fans that arrived to watch the performances. Before the concert there was a Media Event where national and international representatives of the media could meet the artists and conduct short interviews. Both members of the group wrote two competing songs for other Maltese artists that took part at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025. JP caught up with the Busker just after the Semi Final in front of the stage. Enjoy this interview on the show this week.       Sami Grand Prix 2025: The Sámi Grand Prix is a Sámi yoik and song competition organized annually by the Sámi Music Festival organization featuring participants from all corners of the Sami Land. While the majority of its participants have been from the Norwegian side of Sápmi, Sámi from the Swedish, Finnish, and Russian sides have been increasingly participating in recent years too. Each participant submits an original piece to be performed live in an auditorium in Kautokeino during the Sámi Easter Festival. Originally broadcast on the radio in a limited area, they have started to be shown on TV and livestreamed as well and can be watched from anywhere in the world. Listeners and viewers can cast their vote for their favorites in two categories. A combined televoting and jury result is calculated for each participant. The televotes and the jury votes each currently count for 50% of the participant's scores. The participants who receive the most votes in the song category and in the yoik category are declared the winners of these respective categories. That is actually the title of episode 6. The title of this episode is The Rise of the Met Gala. My apologies! Residents and business owners in Seattle's Chinatown neighborhood protest nearly daily in hopes of blocking what they call a mega-plex homeless shelter on the edge their district. They march to the King County Council board meeting and to the site of the shelter carrying signs that read ‘stop Asian hate' and ‘systemic racism again'. They're fighting a big expansion of a 270-bed homeless shelter that has attracted a large unsanctioned tent encampment. It's one of 15 homeless shelters within one mile of Chinatown. Residents there say enough is enough.

Forky along with Boo Peep can already be found in Walt Disney World Toy Story Land, along with a vast assortment of merchandise. I was able to participate in a media preview that included an early screening of the film, a look at new products including toys games and collectibles associated with the film along with a press conference featuring some of the voice actors along with Director Josh Cooley and Producers Jonas Rivera and Mark Nielsen. There may be slight unintentional spoilers in the Q&A… fair warning. Overall, this film is marvelous, it’s the perfect extension to the toy story franchise with a great mix of familiar characters, alongside new characters on an unexpected adventure… it’s perfect and you need to see it!!!
