Most south Londoners will know Three Cheers Pubs as the most handsome in England. They host some of the best live comedy in the business, featured some of the biggest musicians such as Ed Sheeran and are now even producing their own sparkling wine. Three Cheers currently own 9 pubs which include; The Abbeville, The Avalon, The Bolingroke, The Latchmere, The Princess Victoria, The Rosendale, The Stonhouse, The Tommyfield and The Bedford. To celebrate some of the greatest independent pubs in the business we collaborated with Three Cheers for their 20th anniversary celebration. Jimmy is joined by co-founders Tom and Mark live from the Bedford. Apparently it is Thanksgiving, so it's time for the awesome Planes, Trains And Automobiles, another John Hughes winner. Joining me was comedian James Gill - James is MC at "Always Be Comedy", a regular show held at the Tommyfield pub in Kennington, South London, featuring a number of household names. The podcast was recorded in the corridor of the pub before a show back in August 2018, hence the slight echo and the numerous Police cars in the background - well, it is South London... There was also a slight issue with my microphone - luckily James is far funnier than I, and came out a lot clearer on the pod. Because we spent so long gassing, I've added the number one song intro at the end. Don't forget to rate and review the show on your podcast app of choice.
Can you fall in love with someone without knowing their gender? In ‘Boy Stroke Girl’, Peter finds out when he falls for the sexually ambiguous ‘Blue’. But will such a relationship proves a challenge to Peter’s identity, forcing him to face some difficult questions? To what extent are we all encouraged to conform to narrow culturally defined stereotypes, to label and to pigeon-hole ourselves? Peter’s passion for Blue provokes prejudice and hostility from friends and family, in a tale of sexual liberation and shattered taboos. SNS Online returnee.
