Today on the show I get to speak with Cristina Bornstein who has worked in the field of energy healing for over 25 years. Her main modality is Eden Energy Medicine (The Eden Method) but also includes techniques from her shamanic studies and her own intuitive experiences with earth and universal energies. She believes that Energy Medicine is an amazing complementary care support system and anempowering self-care tool. Using different modalities Cristina gently empowers you to tap into your inner wisdom and power to facilitate a deeper sense of health, happiness, and emotional balance to help you live radiantly. Each session or self-care class is customized and Cristina “follows the energy” as Donna Eden would say, which creates a sacred and safe healing space.Cristina is passionate about self-care believing we are our own health advocates! This is why being the Director of Monthly Self-Care Classes with the Holistic Health Community is perfect match. Cristina also serves on the HHC board and offers energy medicine sessions at the HHC Healthcare Day.Cristina specializes in Self-Care Guidance, Chakra Transformations, Stress Management, Soul Retrievals and Self-Care Empowerment. She offers in person and skype sessions. We talk about her entry into energy medicine which started very young, how she learned to follow her intuition, and where it has guided her along the way. It has brought her to some of her most transformative teachers, including Shamanic Studies with John Perkins and expeditions to the Ecuadorian rainforest, Guatemala, and Colombia to learn and live with indigenous tribes -- to Donna Eden whose work really connected the dots across so many other areas of studies Cristina was drawn to over the years -- and finally or perhaps more accurately, a return to nature as her teacher. She shares thoughts on self care as well as simple suggestions of things to do at home or at work to support different emotional states and experiences or just to proactively nourish yourself with some care. As a part of the Holistic Health Community's Self Care Program, she's organized an event happening tomorrow, Tuesday, November 26th at the Institute for Family Health's Pine Street location where I'll be offering Tending to the Heart Sound Bath at 6pm. As with most HHC offerings it is by sacred reciprocity. "Though there is no charge for services, we encourage sacred reciprocity by making a donation, by offering volunteer service or by doing an act of loving kindness toward someone in need."We also mention a special fundraiser for the Holistic Health Community happening this Sunday, December 1st, at Lifebridge in Rosendale featuring a sound bath with Ricarda O'Connor. If you have the ability to support this vital community organization, this will be not only a gift to them, but a gift to you to receive from this sound experience.Today's show was engineered by Ian Seda from Radiokingston.org.Our show music is from Shana Falana!Feel free to email me, say hello: she@iwantwhatshehas.org** Please: SUBSCRIBE to the pod and leave a REVIEW wherever you are listening, it helps other users FIND IThttp://iwantwhatshehas.org/podcastITUNES | SPOTIFYITUNES: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/i-want-what-she-has/id1451648361?mt=2SPOTIFY:https://open.spotify.com/show/77pmJwS2q9vTywz7Uhiyff?si=G2eYCjLjT3KltgdfA6XXCAFollow:INSTAGRAM * https://www.instagram.com/iwantwhatshehaspodcast/FACEBOOK * https://www.facebook.com/iwantwhatshehaspodcast
Earlier this month, US Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) posted on Twitter/X, "End the Fed!" It turns out there is an interesting backstory to the Tweet so the Liberty Report decided to meet up with Rep. Rosendale to discuss the Fed and his strongly independent voting record in the House.

Jo Salas is a writer, a social activist, and devoted grandmother. She grew up in New Zealand and now lives two hours north of New York City near woods and mountains. Jo's fiction includes the novels Dancing with Diana (Codhill Press, 2015), and Mrs. Lowe-Porter (JackLeg Press, 2024). Her short stories have appeared in literary journals and anthologies. Her story “After,” in the anthology Facing the Change: Personal Encounters with Global Warming was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Other short stories have won or been shortlisted for awards.Jo is also the cofounder of Playback Theatre, an original form of interactive theatre based on personal stories now practiced worldwide. Her nonfiction writing has chronicled and explored Playback Theatre since its inception, with many publications including Improvising Real Life: Personal Story in Playback Theatre, now published in ten translations and a 20th anniversary edition.Today, we spend much of our time discussing MRS. LOWE-PORTER which is based on the life of Helen Lowe-Porter, a brilliant, ambitious, warm-hearted, and self-deprecating woman who struggles for her own literary voice against the conventions of her time and the demands of the two male luminaries in her life: the legendary novelist Thomas Mann, whose works she translates, and her charismatic husband Elias. It's "[a]n exploration of the complicated life of the translator of Thomas Mann – who is a writer in her own right. Salas asks difficult questions about work and gender – whose words should take precedence? Whose work? Whose needs? Salas uses the real life of Helen Tracy Lowe-Porter as the foundation for this fascinating novel.”–Roxana Robinson, author of Dawson's Fall.Jo shares about what led her to write the book, her own resonance with Helen's story, what women contend with professionally and creatively when the world is not necessarily asking for their output, and then also another of Jo's major contributions to the world in her 50 year effort to develop and share Playback Theatre. At the Republican National Convention in July, a platform plank in place for decades that called for a national abortion ban was removed—right at the moment that such a ban has actually become legally possible, after the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision. Donald Trump has tried to distance himself from hard-line pro-life positions, saying that abortion rights sitting with the states “is something that everybody wanted.” The New Yorker's Washington correspondent Susan B. Glasser explores the tension within the Republican Party and speaks with David Remnick about her reporting, including an interview with Representative Matt Rosendale, of Montana. A hard-liner dismissive of pragmatic compromise, Rosendale believes that life begins at conception, and he is challenging his House Republican colleagues to vote their convictions and ban in-vitro fertilization.

This week my guest is Emmet Moeller. Emmet and I sat down in February and talked about non-profits, music, politicizing work, and just how good farm fresh produce is. You can find more about Emmet and his work at Common Table here or join their substack here. If you live in NYC or the greater Kingston area, check out their full fridge club and other offerings and events :) More about Emmet: Emmet Moeller is a queer & trans chef living and working in NY's Hudson Valley. After 13 years of loving and learning in Brooklyn, Emmet and his partner moved north to Rosendale, where they have happily lived for just over 6 years. In a past life, Emmet worked for Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls, where he met a lot of incredible musicians who taught him so much about leadership and care. These days, you can find him leading a small team of queer geniuses at Common Table, his personal chef and meal subscription business (and generally queer little kitchen where we do whatever we want) in Kingston, NY. Outside of work, Emmet has lately centered his attention on resistance, pushing and pulling, moving his body now that he can finally feel it, staring at the waterfall in his backyard, and eating as many delicious things as possible. Rep. Matt Rosendale filed a motion to impeach Biden's Def. Sec. Lloyd Austin based on his pattern of behavior since his confirmation. Rosendale says he's misled the American people or flat out lied. Austin didn't inform the President he would be unavailable during a medical emergency and that is a national security threat. Then there was the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan where 13 soldiers lost their lives trying to evacuate Americans. Then there was the Chinese spy balloon. Austin knew about it yet allowed it to fly into American airspace over military installations across the country before shooting it down. First Austin denied it, then said the balloon couldn't collect data or transmit images back to China which we knew was a flat out lie. Rosendale says we now have cellular data showing it absolutely transmitted images and data back to China. When you combine all of these events, Rosendale says it warrants impeachment. Rosendale says Austin has been the architect of the “wokenization” of our military. If you don't know if you're a man or a woman, you shouldn't have your hand on the button that's going to be launching missiles to protect our country. GUEST: REP. Congressman Matt Rosendale cannot believe the Intel and Judiciary committees cannot come to terms on a way to reform FISA to not only protect our country, but also protect the civil liberties of every American. Along with the fiscal issues we face and the invasion at our southern border, FISA is very important because that's what Intel used to spy on President Trump, on Catholics and on parents who attended school board meetings to advocate for their children. Rosendale says if they're not going to put in necessary reforms, then he's in favor of terminating FISA. Rosendale says we have to stop allowing the lobbyists, the uni-party, McConnell and Schumer from getting together to direct legislation around Washington. People are profiting immensely from increased surveillance. Rosendale believes the impeachment inquiry is just the tip of the iceberg. Based on the financial transactions he's seen, we really should be seeing the DOJ bring forward charges and prosecutions of Joe Biden and many of his family members. Rosendale says he has always been very supportive of Trump and believes he did an incredible job as President, putting our country first with trade agreements, bringing manufacturing back and building up our military. Congressman Matt Rosendale says the problems we're facing now are a direct result of almost 3 years of the Joe Biden Administration. Biden's damaged the economy so severely we're seeing inflation rates higher than they've been in decades, interest rates higher than they've been in a decade, people are underemployed and wages can't keep up with the rate of inflation. Rosendale says we are funding agencies that were never authorized. If we eliminated spending on these unauthorized agencies, we could get close to eliminating the annual deficit. The national debt is so monumental at $33 trillion, it's projected to be at $50 trillion in five years. When Rosendale and others proposed reducing discretionary spending by just $100 billion, 86% of the cuts were rejected by Republicans. Who would have thought Wuhan Flu would be found in a research lab in Hamilton, Montana? It was brought to the Rocky Mountain Lab a year before the Covid-19 outbreak by Tony Fauci for risky gain of function experiments. Rosendale has proposed an appropriation amendment to end funding for this deadly and dangerous research. GUEST: REP. MATT ROSENDALE, MONTANASee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
