Podcast by Alone In The Boondocks
After a long hiatus for a terrible circumstance, Drew and Krepps return to discuss the event that led to the break. This is not a funny episode. Trigger Warning: Death, Fire, Grief, PTSD
Krepps and Andrew back up to examine how they arrived at their present states. Religion, leaving religion, and mindset are examined and reconstructed. How can you be a progressive, empathetic person while living and learning in the Boondocks?
To my fellow righteous homosapians I hope this letter finds you in good jest. America is dying, but you already know this. The leftist media is killing us from the inside. We are one year into this supposed COVID-19 bullshit, it's still a hoax. It is no more than a flu, when I have the flu I still kiss my buddies on the lips, how is COVID any different? Don't even get me started on this “vaccine” they are trying to give us. It's all mind control, ultimately the left just wants us to believe that Back to the future pt. 2 is the best in the series. Which is a load of horse shit. Everyone knows #3 will reign supreme. Also thank you to everyone who submitted their recipe for the official potato salad of QANON. P.S. No one likes hard boiled eggs in potato salad. Supreme Chancellor Trump is still the president, but we also know this. It's the “libtards” that can't seem to accept this fact. But what those morons on the left do not know is that six months prior to the election Trump knew he was going to lose, this was his plan all along. Trump had his secret force kidnap Joseph Biden and bring him to SCDT's (supreme chancellor Donald Trump) secret underground lair. And if you have seen the 1997 movie Face Off, you know what happens next, and if you haven't-go watch, and it will show you the light. To wrap things up, the Jewish space lasers are out of fuel after the fires from the summer, I have heard they run on Mtn. Dew livewire, that's why that has been so hard to find. We are also drawing ever so clear to the real date of “The Storm” so please remember to wear your rain gear ;). Until next month my righteous homosapians. xoxo Q
Andrew and the Artist Formerly Known as Krepps discuss what we had with Trump, have with Biden, and could have had with Bernie. It could be so much better.
After a six month hiatus, Andrew and Tyler return to discuss the major events of the last three weeks.
In this episode, Andrew and Tyler host their first guest: Nate from Fishtown. The three discuss similarities and differences in public and law enforcement response to BLM demonstrations in cities and in rural areas. Vigilant groups seem present in both situations and particular focus is paid to them.
As per usual, Andrew and Tyler get lost in some conspiracy theories. However, the general theme of catching up on new COVID-19 effects on our communities is discussed. How many more people can we expect to find that are just “over” COVID-19? How can the pandemic still persist so strongly in the U.S.?
Andrew and Tyler discuss what it is like to protest for progress and justice in rural America. Because of the familiar nature of smaller communities, the protestors and counter-protestors will often know each other which can lead to some uncomfortable situations. It doesn't make the work less vital. However, local demonstration also does wonders to remind you that you aren't all that alone in the boondocks.
Following the police murder of George Floyd, Andrew and Tyler discuss advocacy and allyship in a rural community. The topic of American Decline is played with, but not in the traditional conservative sense. They struggle to not be a bumbling mess of white privilege.
In the wake of all the defiance in our communities toward precautions concerning the spread of COVID-19, we explore the notion. Is there a time where defiance for defiance sake can be justified? Andrew and Tyler explore how defiance has shaped their worldview and how it appears in the rural public. They also talk a lot about their moms.
No one is certain how the 2020 general will turn out, but Andrew and Tyler discuss the issues in voting for “the lesser of two evils.” What are the moral implications of voting for Biden or voting third party? Secondarily, focus is given to the ridiculous “Plandemic” video that blew up social media recently. A baby can be heard crying in the background occasionally...
In this episode Andrew and Tyler dive into the framework of the podcast and discuss what it is like to be a politically and socially progressive person in rural America. COVID-19 issues are at the forefront of conversation.
Andrew and Tyler discuss the fear of “the other” (primarily in the form of racism) that seems prevalent in rural society. Again, this is contextualized by the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics discussed include: Trump's pushing of blame to China, rural sexism, the dilemma of arguing with ignorance, and the knee jerk reaction to anything new. Tyler's audio sounds like he has ascended.
