A conversation with Amira Mohammad and Yuval Orr, members of the film crew of The Day After (working title). This documentary chronicles the resolution of Northern Ireland's Troubles—one of modern history's longest and bloodiest conflicts—through the unique lens of an Israeli and Palestinian film crew who explore how opposing factions forged a lasting peace that has maintained stability for 25 years.

In this episode, we are joined by Dr. Ahmad Abu Akel, a distinguished member of Beit of Hope's Advisory Board. Dr. Abu Akel is a cognitive and social neuroscientist, as well as a professor of psychopathology at the University of Haifa's School of Psychological Sciences. His expertise, particularly in the neurobiological foundations of empathy, offers profound insights into its potential role in conflict resolution—an area of great interest to us.

Tuly Flint, the Israeli coordinator of Combatants for Peace, tells us about his experience as a former military in a combat unit and what brought him on the path of peace activism.
