Tony proposed to Felicia on New Years eve and at a time when he was not in his right frame of mind. While the two love each other and wanted this event to occur, the timing made Felicia lose the value of this most sacred moment. After considering her own acceptance from her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the condition she was in when he chose her out of darkness, she was able to break the cycle and turn what was meant for bad and find the good.
