After a year long hiatus, we are BACK! Wedding planning can be stressful enough, but try planning three completely different weddings in the span of a year and a half! Now that we are on the other side, we are excited to finally open up about some of the most important lessons we learned! Join us as we look back on the not-so-well-thought-out plans we made and share ways you can not make our same mistakes

Since getting married, our conversations around having a child, and external pressures of doing so, have both increased. We both want to be parents, but the unknowns around what that looks like can be scary and sometimes too large to comprehend. Join us as we discuss what it has been like to be a millennial parent with our amazing guests, Jill and Jeremiah, and how they have navigated parenthood during these new and challenging times in modern history.

Our friendship has been something that we feel is one of our strongest attributes as a couple. Now that we are married, we want to be sure to continue on with intentional practices to strengthen this aspect of our relationship further. Join us and our special guest, Charla and Amy, as we discuss the connectedness and intersections of friendship, both within and outside of a marriage, and how prioritizing this component leads to healthier and sustainable relationship practices.

As of 7/12/2020, we are one week and one day into our marriage! We are still getting situated after driving back to North Carolina and getting back into the swing of work and school, but we are still hard at work preparing for our future, and the future of Engaged: The Podcast! Our full wedding recap episode will drop July 20th, but in the meantime, we hope you enjoy listening to a portion of our wedding ceremony, delivered by our friend and officiant, Bryan Mack!

Only 2 days until we officially tie the knot! As we prepare for our wedding on July 4th, we are sharing part 2 of “Words from the Wise.” We were able to talk with Oona-Ife’s grandparents, who have been married for 72 years and still going strong! Let us know what you think of their long lasting love and let the countdown begin!

As we continue to interview couples and learn their stories, we wanted to sit down and hear from folks who have been together longer than most...our grandparents! Between the two couples, they have 131 years of marriage; that's 131 years of love, laughter, and overcoming difficult situations. Part 1 of our two part series features Anthony sitting down with his Grandad over coffee. We hope that you enjoy the gems this short episode has to offer! As of 6/8/2020 we are now 26 days away from our wedding day! While we spend the first couple of minutes giving you some wedding and life updates, we are excited to have had the opportunity to engage with our videographers Charles Fatunbi and Marquise Mays and learn more about them, their portfolio, and their creative process. We hope you walk away understanding our excitement to work with them, and how grateful we are to know them as people.

On our last episode, we filled you in on our new plans. This episode takes you inside the minds of two couples (Bryan & Lexi / Alicia & Glenn) who are also planning a wedding during these times of uncertainty and constant change.
