You've got the idea. You've got the drive. So why isn't your side hustle working? In this episode, I'm breaking down the real reason most side hustles die within the first six months — and it's not what you think. It's not the economy. It's not bad timing. It's not even competition. It's something most people never stop to fix, and it's killing their momentum before they ever reach the tipping point.I'm pulling from my own journey — building Motana Speed LLC, running federal contracting bids, launching two plantain chip brands across Texas, building this podcast from zero — to show you exactly where the breakdown happens and the one thing that flips everything. If you've ever felt like you're pushing hard but going nowhere, this episode is for you.In this episode you'll learn:Why most side hustles fail before month sixThe boulder analogy that explains exactly where your momentum diesThe three silent killers destroying your side hustle right nowWhat the tipping point actually is — and how to know when you've crossed itThe one thing you need to have locked in before anything else mattersThis is your sign to stop dabbling and start building.
Pastor Neal continues his series on RELATIONSHIPS
You may have been dating and anxious attached and they seem put together. They are not the needy and clingy ones you heard about. They don't remind you of your ex who was needy and clingy. You might even think you're being tricked. Are they manipulating you? Chances are you have bummed into a not so rare gem. There are emotionally mature anxious attached gems that can behave in very secure ways and that is healthy for a long- term relationship. However, you don't want to sabotage these relationships by testing them too much because these are the ones that won't stick around and beg like your emotionally immature ex probably did - and you don't want to risk that. If you're anxiously attached, this may trigger you or help you to grow if you're ready for that. I would love to hear your thoughts on this episode. Support the show
This episode is an encore presentation from the BS Free MD archives — and worth a second listen. Drs. May and Tim Hindmarsh welcome marriage coaches Dr. Jeep and Vanessa Naum back to BS Free MD for a wide-ranging conversation on what actually sustains a marriage long-term. The four longtime friends — coincidentally going through home sales and life transitions on opposite coasts — dig into the conversations couples should be having before the wedding and throughout the marriage: where to live, whose career takes priority, how many kids to have, religion, finances, in-laws, and shared interests. The Naums share personal stories, including Vanessa's sacrifice to move back to the Pittsburgh/Wheeling area so Jeep could fulfill his dream of practicing with his father, and Jeep's hard lesson in "financial infidelity" involving Thomas Kinkade paintings. The group unpacks why marriage is built on trust and commitment more than love, the importance of joint accounts and regular financial "state of the union" meetings, the power of delayed reward, the danger of losing individuality, and how to set boundaries with in-laws. With humor and candor, they remind listeners that nobody on their deathbed regrets driving a smaller car — they regret the time they didn't spend with the people they loved. Guest Bios Dr. George P. Mother's Day is coming… but what do moms actually want? In this episode, the Mamas get real about the gap between expectation and reality—from breakfast-in-bed moments that still come with responsibility, to the truth that sometimes the best gift is space, rest, and not being needed for a few hours. We talk about: Why “a day off” doesn't always feel like a day off Navigating Mother's Day with partners, kids… and your own mama The guilt (and necessity) of choosing yourself Teaching our kids to care for us the way we care for them And the bigger conversation: setting boundaries, standing in your truth, and loving yourself more Of course, it wouldn't be The Mama's Den without a little chaos, a lot of laughs, and some unfiltered moments along the way. If you've ever felt like Mother's Day didn't quite hit the way you hoped… this one is for you. And don't forget—we're outside all May for our Mom's Night Out Tour. What Their Body Language Is Really Telling You You can say all the right words and still feel something is off. You can barely say anything and still feel undeniable chemistry. That's because attraction shows up in the body long before it shows up in language. In this episode of Mastering Dating, we break down how to read body language in a grounded, calm way...without overanalyzing or projecting your fears onto small details. Because dating becomes clearer when you stop listening only to what people say and start noticing what their body is communicating. In This Episode, We Cover:Why body language reveals emotional truth faster than wordsThe difference between nervous energy and withdrawn energyWhat eye contact really signals about attractionHow mirroring shows subconscious rapportThe subtle ways proximity increases when attraction buildsHow your own posture and presence impact chemistryWhy you should look for patterns, not isolated momentsBody language isn't about decoding every micro-expression. It's about noticing whether someone's energy is opening toward you or slowly closing away from you over time. Attraction builds progressively in the body:More comfortMore eye contactMore softnessLess distanceWhen you learn to observe without panicking, you stop chasing reassurance and start responding to reality. And that's where clarity begins.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/mastering-dating--6411894/support.✨ Want exclusive episodes, bonus tools, and direct access to your dating coach? Today we welcome relationship expert Amy Chan to break down the science of heartbreak, attachment patterns, and modern dating, revealing why breakups feel like addiction withdrawal and how high-performers often sabotage their healing by avoiding emotions instead of processing them. Amy also shares her dating funnel framework, helping listeners understand how to move from casual dating to committed relationships while avoiding common pitfalls like confusing preferences with dealbreakers. In this episode of The Open Bedroom Podcast, I sit down with my husband Scott as we reflect on his recent breakup with a woman we'd been dating. We get real about the importance of relationship alignment, the challenges that come up when expectations around exclusivity and autonomy don't quite match, and how easy it is to overlook red flags when there's strong chemistry. Sharing from our own experience, we talk about why honest communication matters, how being clear about what we want can make all the difference, and the importance of choosing partners whose relationship goals truly line up with ours. Whether you're exploring modern, non-traditional relationship dynamics or just curious, we hope our conversation offers some thoughtful insights and support along the way. When the Match Doesn't Match (00:05:27)Diving into why the recent relationship didn't work, starting from dating profiles to real-life misalignment.Misalignment in Relationship Goals (00:07:56)Clarifying the disconnect in what each party wanted—deep connection vs. friends with benefits—and how this was communicated.Overlooking Red Flags Due to Chemistry (00:08:49)How strong chemistry and communication led both sides to ignore fundamental misalignments.Challenges of Standing Firm in Desires (00:10:09)The difficulty of holding to one's relationship needs when someone seems to check almost every box.Intellectual vs. Political Alignment (00:10:34)Discussing how intellectual connection was strong, but political and worldview differences existed.Navigating Political Differences in Dating (00:12:18)Jen reflects on dating app experiences and how political alignment is often a barrier, but can also be a source of connection.Red Flags vs. Misalignment (00:16:33)Exploring the difference between true red flags and simple misalignment in relationship goals.Ignoring Red Flags and Its Consequences (00:18:18)Why people ignore red flags, and the pain caused by trying to force a relationship despite clear misalignments.Autonomy vs. Security in Relationships (00:20:10)Scott and Jen discuss the struggle between wanting autonomy and the desire for security and exclusivity.Believing People When They Show You Who They Are (00:23:09)Learning to accept people's stated boundaries and not trying to change them; importance of alignment.Lessons Learned and Moving Forward (00:24:10)Jen shares takeaways: only date aligned people and avoid those who put up emotional walls.Confusion When Words and Actions Differ (00:25:03)How mixed signals—saying one thing but acting another—create confusion and hope for change.Reflecting on Past Relationship Dynamics (00:27:17)Jen wonders if things would have changed if they hadn't pushed for exclusivity, drawing parallels to her own past.Choosing Each Other and Responsibility (00:29:01)Scott discusses the responsibility and effort involved when someone chooses exclusivity and prioritizes the relationship.Scott's Capacity for Multiple Relationships (00:33:06)Jen praises Scott's ability to meet the needs of multiple partners and reflects on what they seek in future partners.Tailoring Relationship Dynamics to Your Needs (00:35:30)Advice to listeners: seek partners who want the same dynamic as you, whether it's polyamory, swinging, or exclusivity.Envisioning the Future and Alignment (00:36:34)Realizing misalignment when future visions don't include each other; importance of shared goals.Honesty About Needs and Desires (00:37:43)Emphasizing the need for self-honesty and seeking partners who are open to building what you want.Podcast Closing (00:39:15)Thanking listeners, encouraging feedback, and inviting them to subscribe and share the podcast.Follow The Open Bedroom podcast:https://www.instagram.com/theopenbedroompodcast

Relationship Goals: Is Modern Media Redefining Your Standards? In this episode, we're pulling back the curtain on [Movie Name] and the subtle ways it promotes cultural compromise over biblical truth. It's time to stop settling for a version of love that's culturally convenient but spiritually empty. If you're ready to stop compromising and start pursuing a relationship that honors God, this breakdown is for you.In this episode:• The danger of "Christian-ish" dating tropes.• Why compromise is the enemy of a Godly marriage.• Reclaiming the standards from the True Love Conference.FREE Download:;The Science of One Flesh and Marital BondingHoodie I'm Wearing

I went in expecting the worst—and somehow it still disappointed. The only thing this movie gets right is its final conflict, which avoids the usual rom-com misunderstanding and instead focuses on clashing goals and priorities. Unfortunately, that's the lone bright spot. Everything else falls flat. There's zero romantic chemistry, weak comedic timing, and performances that never rise above average. The script feels like a checklist of tired rom-com clichés, and the story ultimately exists just to sell a book rather than tell anything meaningful. No real character growth, no depth, and shockingly boring. Unless you're a hardcore fan of the actors or the book, skip this and watch literally any other rom-com. #RelationshipGoals #RomComFail #MovieReview #HonestReview #NoChemistry #BoringMovies #SkipThisOne #AmazonPrime #RomComProblems #FilmCritic #MovieTalk #NotRecommended #WatchSomethingElse #ClickbaitButTrue

From performative preaching styles to the idea of faith as a formula for relational success, the hosts thoughtfully unpack how influence, charisma, and theology intersect with real-life relationship work. The convo is full of strong feelings and opinions, so grab an even stronger drink and join the fun. Cheers!
They act like they are over you the moment you breakup and that is crushing. But is that what they really feel? There is a lot of "experts" on what avoidant attached person feel during breakups. I have on average 70 avoidant attached people on speed dial and I am sharing what they all say they go through during breakups. It's astounding how they all have the same breakup story. In this episode, the RSMS crew dives into a headline‑grabbing week in pop culture and politics, beginning with Nicki Minaj’s very public alliance with President Donald Trump. Fresh off her appearance at the Trump Accounts Summit, Minaj declared herself the President’s “No. 1 fan,” solidifying her stance while holding hands with him onstage and praising his “authentic leadership.” Recent reporting confirms she also flashed a Trump Gold Card—an elite immigration‑related status tied to major financial contributions—and pledged up to $300,000 toward Trump Accounts for her fans. The show then turns to Ray J’s alarming health revelations, where he says doctors warned him he may only have months to live due to severe heart failure. According to recent reports, his heart is functioning at just 25%, he’s bedridden on eight medications, and he partially attributes the damage to years of alcohol, drug, and Adderall misuse. Adding lighter energy, Kelly Rowland joins the show to discuss her new film Relationship Goals, a rom‑com blending faith, love, and career challenges, where she stars alongside Method Man—a project already generating early buzz for its chemistry and heartfelt themes. Finally, the team covers politics as Rep. Ilhan Omar fires back at President Trump, who baselessly claimed she staged a recent town‑hall attack in which a man sprayed her with apple cider vinegar. Omar pointed directly to Trump’s “hateful rhetoric,” which she says consistently fuels threats against her—a pattern echoed in multiple news investigations following the incident.
