Do you know what a Narrowboat is? We are Fran and Rich and we live on a narrowboat travelling the canals and rivers of England and Wales. We show our travels on our YouTube Channel 'Floating Our Boat' and podcasting is a new venture for us. We aim to discuss topics we normally wouldn't cover on our YouTube channel but will be light-hearted, hopefully Thank you for taking the time to read this and we hope you enjoy our new podcast show.
The Floating Our Boat podcast is a delightful and informative show that has quickly become one of my favorites. The hosts bring a refreshing and entertaining perspective to a wide range of topics, making each episode engaging from start to finish. I have thoroughly enjoyed diving into their discussions on books, as their book reviews provide insightful analysis and recommendations that have led me to discover new literary gems. Additionally, the hosts' storytelling abilities are truly captivating, leaving me eagerly anticipating each new episode.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the chemistry between the hosts. Their banter is effortless and their camaraderie shines through in every episode, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like you're sitting down with old friends. This dynamic not only makes for an enjoyable listening experience but also enhances their ability to engage with their audience. The hosts actively encourage listener participation by incorporating feedback and questions into their episodes, making it feel like a true community.
However, I do have one minor issue with the podcast – the volume levels. At times, I find myself straining to hear the content due to low volume levels compared to other podcasts I listen to. It would be fantastic if they could pump up the volume a bit during recording or adjust the audio post-production to ensure consistent sound quality throughout each episode. Despite this small drawback, I am still thoroughly entertained by The Floating Our Boat podcast.

While there may be room for improvement in terms of audio levels, this minor flaw does not detract from the overall enjoyment of this wonderful show.
