In an age where people started to stay home to watch television and listen to the radio, and attendance in movie theatres was waning, big spectacles were the way to get people interested in cinema again. Also, the resurgence of the circus was on the rise. Cecil B. De Mille, known for directing huge extravaganzas, decided to combine the two and make this huge epic film about a story with the big top, and all its glory, as the backdrop. The Greatest Show on Earth was a huge blockbuster. It went on to win the top prize at the Oscars for 1952.    We often say we're not sure what we just saw but it really applies to Super Bowl win number 3 for Patrick Mahomes and this Chiefs Dynasty Era.  Millions of people and most of the players on the field didn't know the overtime rules as the clock was running out and Mahomes was tossing the ball to Mecole Hardman to win the game.  It was drama times ten in a game dominated for 3 quarters by the defenses.    Then, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan must have thought he was in the regular season by taking the ball after winning the coin toss... handing Mahomes all the fourth downs he may need to kick the Niners tail.  And that, he did.  What a win, what a moment, let's have a parade.  Stan Weber is here to break down the closest of matchups that in the end swung red because of one player.

Both Behe and Ramage are Catholic, and they carry on their conversation in the context of Catholic thinking about nature and creation, in particular the work of Thomas Aquinas and contemporary Thomist philosophers. Ramage seeks to integrate his Thomistic/personalist framework with modern evolutionary theory's commitment to macroevolution and common descent.
