Listening to 'Pastor Sara' as I affectionately call her, recount her childhood ... well it is hard to listen to and believe. The daughter of a prominent Jamaican musician, light-skinned in a time where that automatically equated to being well-off in Jamaica, a young Sara describes grappling with the reality of a father absent on musical tours and a mother in the grips of drug addiction.  She describes those years as a 'chaotic adventure' during which she had to grow up and figure things out, assuming responsibility for her siblings and suffering abuse.  In this episode Sara shares her journey, one that will inspire your faith and give you the courage you need to STEP OUT and keep stepping!

Part 1 ends with her entire business literally going up in flames in a fire - while they were temporarily without insurance coverage!   So much goodness in this episode!

Adam Stewart has grown and evolved the Sandals empire through CONSTANT innovation, started new companies and ventures in his own right (hello islandroutes and Starbucks Caribbean - expanded atlautomotive with the new bmw_jamaica and porschejamaica) - for which he’s received all these awards both for the businesses and himself AND he’s a serious philanthropist - but most importantly a committed family man (he’s a husband and dad of 3 {he spoke to his kids multiple times on this 2hr flight}!). . Trying to list it all makes my head spin so HOW is this mogul doing it all I asked him how he juggles / balances family and business (people never ask men that!). . I stumbled over asking him, essentially, how do you raise children to be HUNGRY when they are born full?
