Most producers say they want to dominate 2026, yet many are still waiting for permission. Waiting for the “right time” to invest in themselves. Waiting to see if someone else will sign off on it. That mindset quietly keeps people stuck—and it's far more common than most want to admit. In this episode, I sit down with my client and friend, Andy Neary, for an honest, no-fluff conversation about what actually holds high performers back. We talk about why driven professionals often struggle with self-worth, why chasing a “guaranteed ROI” can sabotage momentum, and how confidence isn't something you wait to feel—it's something you build by consistently showing up for yourself. This is a real conversation about responsibility, ownership, and what it takes to stop playing small as the new year approaches.About The Guest: Andy Neary is a speaker, author, podcast host, and coach dedicated to helping professionals build the mindset, habits, and strategies needed to excel in business and life. A former professional baseball player in the Milwaukee Brewers organization, Andy leveraged discipline, unshakeable drive, and consistent daily habits to succeed at the highest level — despite being undersized for his position. Andy Neary - Speaker, Author, ConsultantToday, he applies those same lessons off the field through Complete Game Consulting, a coaching and training company he founded in 2019, where he advises insurance professionals and agencies on mindset, marketing, branding, and performance. In this episode of Sold Out Offers, I walk you through a series of small, practical tweaks you can make to bring an offer back from the brink. These are not big rebrands or six-week projects. They're short, focused checks that help you reconnect with the purpose, positioning, and delivery of what you've already built—so you can decide what actually needs changing (and what doesn't). We'll look at your sales page, your offer result, who the offer is really for, and whether the delivery experience still makes sense. I also talk about how overstuffing, unclear transformation, or underpricing can quietly drain your energy—and make an offer feel heavier than it needs to be. If selling or delivering something has started to feel like dragging a dead weight, there is a way to fix that. This episode is about falling back in love with your work—or at least giving it a fair chance before you throw it away. Because I've seen offers go from “total flop” to signature, most-lucrative work simply by making these kinds of intentional adjustments. What You'll Learn in This EpisodeHow to quickly self-audit your sales page and spot where the disconnect really isWhy clients buy transformation, not calls, documents, or deliverablesHow unclear targeting can quietly sabotage an otherwise solid offerWhy delivery design matters more than adding “more value”The link between pricing, energy, and why an offer starts to feel heavy"You're not selling deliverables, you're selling an experience. And if the experience doesn't make sense, the offer won't either." Step into my festival world...

What if the secret to conquering self-doubt and negotiating your worth at work begins with lowering your tolerance for compromise in your most intimate relationships? In this episode of Glass Ceilings and Sticky Floors, Erica Rooney sits down with Jingjin Liu, serial entrepreneur, investor, and global advocate. Jingjin is the founder of the Elevate Group and the co-founder of Zazu, Asia's first sexual wellness company for women. She proves a radical truth: confidence in the bedroom leads to confidence in the boardroom.Jingjin shares her fascinating journey from a "weird girl" in Beijing to the youngest Global Marketing Director in a male-dominated industry, revealing how deep-seated societal conditioning and a high tolerance for small compromises at home are the sticky floors keeping women stuck in their careers.Inside the Episode:The Bedroom to Boardroom Link: Jingjin breaks down how women's tendency to make compromises in the bedroom (e.g., accommodating a partner's sleep or TV habits, or silence about sexual desire) builds a pattern of accommodating behavior that is carried directly into the workplace. The Snoring Analogy: A powerful and relatable example of the high tolerance for "bullshit" women build at home—from sleeping poorly due to a partner's snoring to not asking for dishes to be washed—and why lowering that tolerance is the first step toward self-assertion.The LIE of Self-Worth: How making small, repeated compromises at home leads to the deep, intrinsic belief that "I am not worth it," making it impossible to ask for a bigger budget or better salary at work. The Twin Sticky Floors: The two most common traps for high-achieving women in corporate settings: The Likability Trap & PerfectionismFighting for the Whole Cookie: How to move past the "tall poppy syndrome" and scarcity mindset that pits women against each other. In this heartfelt episode of Paige's Pod, Paige sits down with Laurie Roberts, founder of Larry Roberts Chicago, to talk about love, loss, creativity, and what it means to carry someone's legacy forward through art. Laurie shares the cinematic “meet cute” of how she met her late husband, Larry Roberts - an artist who created from deep emotion, using painting as therapy and self-expression. We talk about the vulnerable (and very real) difficulty of selling work that feels like a piece of your soul, and how Laurie supported Larry through the behind-the-scenes business side while he stayed rooted in the creative process. Laurie opens up about Larry's acute myeloid leukemia (AML) diagnosis in 2017, his final series of paintings, and the early days of grief - when everything went off the market and she didn't yet know what came next. That “next” became a powerful new chapter: transforming Larry's artwork into heirloom-quality, hand-knotted rugs, textiles, and home pieces - crafted with artisans in India and built to last for generations.Together, Paige and Laurie talk about:The beauty (and challenge) of being a multi-passionate creativeWhy art and color can shift mood, support healing, and bring joy to everyday spacesTaking risks in business, pivoting when needed, and the truth about “overnight success”How creativity can support people through hard seasons - especially illness, caregiving, and griefLaurie's advice for anyone wanting to honor a loved one's artistic legacy in a meaningful wayThis conversation is tender, inspiring, and full of permission to keep creating - even when life breaks your heart. Running The Relay Of Women's LeadershipA single moment can change the trajectory of a life. For Kelli Williams, it was being told to quiet down while advocating for her team—and choosing instead to walk out and walk toward her purpose. What unfolds from there is an unflinching, hope-filled story of teen motherhood, corporate firsts, a public breaking point, and the quiet rebuilding that led to a mission-driven consultancy, executive coaching, and a voice that refuses to shrink. We start with momentum—celebrating WomenVenture and the idea of leadership as a relay where each generation runs its leg. From there, Kelli opens the door on what it meant to be the first woman and first Black strategic leader in a family-owned manufacturer, the subtle pressure to assimilate, and the moment she decided her daughter's future mattered more than any title. She lays out how entrepreneurship began with no safety net, then found form through fractional strategy for mission-driven organizations, clear boundaries that protect deep work, and storytelling that gives others permission to speak the hard truths. The conversation goes deeper. Kelli shares a rock-bottom chapter: placing her newborn son for adoption at 16, finding her voice within the legal window, and the layered grace of bringing him home—joy, harm, and healing. Faith and community are constant threads, from Catholic Charities to mentoring teen moms to navigating seasons of parenting with intention. Her wildflowers metaphor reframes both kids and leaders: growth depends on the right soil, light, and care. Practical guidance follows for anyone considering entrepreneurship—pilot your idea, watch your energy, honor timing, and remember that a no today isn't a no forever.Kelli is now building Legacy Rising, coaching women and allies, speaking on finding joy through life's journeys, and writing Dear Daughter, a love letter to the next generation of women in business. In this powerful episode, Candice sits down with Heidi Yewman, an award-winning filmmaker, author, and longtime advocate for trauma survivors and gun violence prevention. Heidi shares her personal journey growing up in an abusive household, navigating deep childhood trauma, and finding her voice through advocacy, storytelling, and community work following the Columbine High School tragedy. In the season of giving, Datshiane Navanayagam talks to philanthropists from France and Nigeria about using their wealth to help others thrive. Historically philanthropic giving has been dominated by men, but as women's global wealth grows so does their capacity for donating money to charitable causes and enterprise. The Conversation talks to a French heiress who felt compelled to give away her money following the death of her son in a helicopter crash and a former corporate banker from Nigeria who's galvanising businesswomen from the African diaspora to invest in the futures of women on the continent.Albina du Boisrouvay was born into extreme wealth as granddaughter of a Bolivian tin magnate and daughter of a French aristocrat. She went on to pursue an alternative career as a film director and when her 24 year old son François-Xavier Bagnoud died, Albina sold three-quarters of her assets and founded FXB Foundation in his name. Its mission is to fight poverty, AIDs and support orphans and vulnerable children. Since 1989, FXB Foundation has impacted the lives of 20 million people. She's recently written about her extraordinary life in a book called Phoenix Rising.Former corporate banker, Dr Anino Emuwa is from Nigeria and managing director at Avandis Consulting in France. She co-founded Women in Philanthropy and Impact Africa, bringing together women in business from the African diaspora to use the power of philanthropy to drive sustainable development. With only 0.4% of foundation grants globally directed toward organisations addressing women's issues, WIPIA approaches philanthropy through a gendered lens and supports women to lead scalable change in Africa.Produced by Jane Thurlow(Image: (L) Albina du Boisrouvay credit Karine Bauzin. We're sold the idea that balance means doing everything perfectly at the same time being productive at work, fully present at home, on top of the holidays, and magically finding space to grow a business or podcast without missing a beat. But that version of “balance” is the very thing keeping so many entrepreneurs and podcasters stuck in guilt, overwhelm, and the constant feeling of never being enough. In this episode, Olivia breaks down the lie behind traditional work–life balance and reveals why your real power comes from presence, intentionality, and the courage to release perfection. Through honest stories and the hard lessons learned while building her business, she shares how she went from 12-hour days to a seasonally adaptive, strategy-first approach without sacrificing results. If you've ever said “I don't have time,” waited for the perfect moment to start, or felt torn between your priorities, this conversation will shift how you see productivity, balance, and growth. Olivia unpacks why clarity matters more than control, why perfectionism stalls progress, and how redefining balance allows you to launch, build, and sustain your podcast or business with far less pressure and far more impact. You'll walk away with a new understanding of what balance actually looks like not equal time, but intentional time and the presence to show up where it matters most.Want to start your own podcast, grow your show, or get featured as a guest? Does God actually like you - or just love you because He has to?If you're a high-achieving Christian woman in business or leadership who feels like God is constantly evaluating, correcting, and disappointed with you, this episode of the Don't Waste the Chaos Podcast with Christian business & HR consultant Kerri Roberts is for you. We'll unpack why so many Christian women in business and faith-driven leadership feel spiritually “behind,” emotionally exhausted, and secretly convinced that God only tolerates them - and how Scripture says something very different. In this solo episode, Kerri invites Christian women in leadership, entrepreneurs, and ambitious, faith-driven professionals into a deeper look at God's heart. Drawing from her own story of leaving corporate life, downshifting to a Missouri farm, and walking through therapy, tapping, and spiritual unraveling, she reframes godly success as emotional health, identity, and spiritual confidence rooted in being liked and delighted in by God.You'll hear how attachment research, childhood patterns, and church culture can wire us to believe God is more corrective than relational - and how passages like Zephaniah 3, Psalm 18, John 15, and the prodigal son in Luke 15 reveal a God who rejoices over you, runs toward you, and calls you friend. Kerri walks through practical ways to rewire your nervous system and your imagination so that your leadership, business, marriage, and parenting flow out of being deeply enjoyed by God, not frantically trying to earn His approval. If you're a faith-driven entrepreneur or Christian woman in business who's tired of constant internal performance reviews, this conversation will help you experience God's delight, embrace your God-given limits, and step into more grounded, joyful, godly success without burning out.Tune in to hear:High-capacity Christian women often confuse responsibility with identity. We project our caregivers onto God. Scripture shows a God who delights, not just tolerates. Your limits are not a failure—they're a feature. Practical practices can reshape how you see God. Sponsor: HR in a BoxIf you're a small to mid-sized business owner who loves Jesus and wants to lead your people with excellence, HR in a Box is Kerri's signature, done-with-you HR system. It helps Christian entrepreneurs and leaders build healthy teams, fair pay structures, and sustainable people operations - without losing your soul (or your weekends) to HR chaos. It's built so you can steward your team well and still have margin for your faith, family, and emotional health.Resources & MentionsDevotional: You Were Never Meant to Do It All – A 40-Day Devotional on the Goodness of Being Human by Kelly Kapic (mentioned as part of Kerri's current spiritual + emotional formation work). https://amzn.to/4iicNKYIf this episode softened how you picture God or opened even a small door toward believing that He actually likes you, don't keep that to yourself.Subscribe to Don't Waste the Chaos on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify so you don't miss the upcoming episodes in this series on identity, emotional health, and godly success.Share this episode with a Christian woman in business or leadership who loves God but secretly believes He's mostly disappointed in her.Join Kerri's Monday Email List for deeper teaching on identity, leadership, and spiritual confidence for Christian women in leadership and faith-driven entrepreneurs: saltmidadvisors.com/contactSupport the show

In this episode of Sold Out Offers, I'm helping you pause before you kick an offer to the curb. We're digging into the real reasons an offer can start to feel heavy, flopped, or just… off. From not talking about it enough, to client hangovers, to unrealistic expectations for brand-new offers, this is a compassionate but honest look at why things stop selling.I also talk about urgency, format mismatches, and what happens when you try to run before you can walk (hello, premature memberships). If you've been quietly resenting an offer or avoiding talking about it altogether, this episode will help you figure out whether it needs tweaking, repositioning, or simply more attention — not deleting. This is the first in a short run of episodes all about reviving and refining your offers. We're moving them from “forgotten side stage” to full-on floor fillers — and next time, I'll be sharing the exact tweaks you can make to bring an offer back to life. What You'll Learn in This EpisodeWhy not talking about your offer is often the biggest reason it stops sellingHow a difficult client can unfairly ruin an otherwise solid offerWhy new offers need time (and PR) before they gain tractionThe role urgency plays in making an offer compellingWhen an offer is right, but the format is wrongHow unclear or mismatched messaging can repel the right buyers"Most of the offers you want to get rid of are the ones you actually need to keep — there's just something else going on underneath."
