What is the Law of Attraction, why does it work, what are some manifestation habits to achieve our goals and desires, and how do we use it effectively? In this episode, I talk about how limiting beliefs hold us back in life and from being our best selves, as well as how to use the “Act as if” method and repeat positive affirmations in the present tense as ways to manifest your dream life. Key Takeaways: The energy you put out (consisting of your beliefs, feelings, thoughts, words, and actions), determines the feedback you receive. Your thoughts have so much influence in creating your reality. Limiting beliefs all hold us back in life and from reaching our full potential. If these thoughts are in your belief system, then you’re going to attract that reality, which makes it harder for you to be your best self and be at your best. The Law of Attraction does not give you full and total control of your life. We can’t always control our circumstances, so it’s important not to blame ourselves for negative events that are outside of our control. What we can do is control our responses to what happens in our lives. We’re not in control of the world, but we can be in control of ourselves and our reactions to things. Align yourself with your desires, free yourself from doubt and fear, replace your worries with thoughts of appreciation and gratitude, and in turn, your perspectives and expectations will change, opening up the possibility that amazing things are coming into your life. Be patient and persistent in your intentions and desires until they become reality. “Acting as if” has the potential to help you work through unfavorable habits and patterns, and change your thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes. Act the part, speak the part, look the part, and believe. Believe that who you aspire to be exists within you. Take action, put the work in, and be a collaborator with the universe in bringing you new opportunities and connections in life. Blog: http://happierwithming.wordpress.com/ P.S. Did you notice that this episode is 11:11 long, the 11th ep, and uploaded on Aug 11? None of this was planned.. an awesome coincidence. Time for me to do some research on why I keep seeing the number 11 and what 1111 means in numerology :o https://lonerwolf.com/1111-meaning/ — music by Dyalla Swain http://soundcloud.com/dyallas & https://www.purple-planet.com --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/happierwithming/message

Anna takes us on the road of her personal development journey as we discuss the difference between self-confidence and self-esteem, the importance of finding the purpose in life for increased satisfaction, the life-changing 7 Habits of Highly Effective People book, the thorough process in which she implemented each habit over a period of a few years, how she uses different tools to reflect and understand herself and others, and the importance of having an accountability partner to ask for help and feedback when needed. Key Takeaways (topics): (1) Life is a marathon, not a sprint. We need to gear ourselves up for a marathon in order to survive it, do well, and get to the finish line in good shape. (2) Self-confidence vs. self-esteem (3) Use periods to lessen comparing ourselves to others. Compare ourselves today to how we were yesterday instead. (4) Journaling - 4 daily questions to answer (5) Finding our inner compass, purpose, and joy in our lives (6) Take action at the scene of inspiration. Implement and integrate knowledge after we receive the information. (7) You can’t read the label when you’re sitting inside the box. Key Takeaways: (1) Happiness is a state of mind; Happiness is a mentality. Since we can create our state of mind, we can create our happiness. (2) Enjoy being in the present; the here and now. Take the time to slow down, reset your priorities, and accomplish tasks in bite-sized steps. (3) If you’re feeling restless or bored, switch things up in your schedule. Try scheduling some activities to participate in that don’t require a screen. Lessen electronics usage whenever you can. (4) Live for the little things in life; they are often the greatest pleasures. What you do during the first hour of your day directly influences and sets the tone for how the rest of your day may go. Try to build a habit of not checking your devices for the first hour of your day. By doing this, you can begin your day in the here & now, with a positive focus, and in a place of inner peace and control. If you start your day with intention, it sets your productivity for the rest of the day. We also talk about 4 strategies for reducing your screen time during this digital age of information over-consumption: 1) Build a schedule 2) Set a timer 3) Make a list of things to do that don’t involve electronics 4) Create phone-free spaces Your eyes will thank you — music by Dyalla Swain http://soundcloud.com/dyallas & https://www.purple-planet.com --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/happierwithming/message
