Vitamin D deficiency is not always easy to detect. Blood tests do not reflect what's going on deeper in your cells.Taking too much vitamin D can be dangerous if you have hypercalcemia, or too much calcium in the blood. This can lead to kidney stones. A lack of vitamin D is also dangerous! If you're deficient in vitamin D, you are more susceptible to autoimmune diseases, which is currently the world's largest health problem. Vitamin D is involved in over 2500 genes and is intimately involved in every part of your immune system. You need a maintenance dose of 8,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily for healthy immune function.Many people can not get adequate vitamin D from the sun or their food. Genetic factors can contribute to vitamin D resistance. Low magnesium, zinc, and vitamin K2 can also inhibit the absorption of vitamin D. Certain viruses downgrade vitamin D receptors, weakening your immune function. Our RDAs are also far too low. There are several ways to maximize vitamin D benefits while also preventing adverse vitamin D side effects. Take the cofactors magnesium, zinc, and vitamin K2 with vitamin D. Limit your calcium intake, especially when taking a high dose of vitamin D. You can also increase fluid intake to 2.5 liters per day to prevent kidney stones. The roots growing around and gripping these decaying logs look like veins and tentacles and fingers clutching and reaching toward an anchor in the soil. Some of the mature cedars and conifers stand on mounds that must be fully decayed trees or rather once were trees and are further along in the process of becoming soil. Often a great tree that's fallen over still has at its base a tall shield that is its roots still clinging to rounded stones and soil, and from this the trunk stretches across the earth. These trees from which trees grow are known as nurse logs… When I was younger, I was taught what an artist or writer was supposed to aspire to was immortality, the kind that Dante and Li Po and Shakespeare have, so that in centuries to come memory of your name and attention to your creations continue. Later in life, I realized that there was an entirely different thing to aspire to, an entirely different kind of creative success: to be so much part of your own time, of the present that is making the future, that rather than remaining what people think about, you become in some way how people think, how they value, what they prioritize. You stop being what's in front of their eyes and become part of what is behind their eyes, how they see the world, how they live, act, what they aspire to, what they hold close, what they resist. You become a nurse log on which new life can grow as you compost into the soil we call culture. And maybe this is the mindset of moist places, of an ecology of vivid decay and regeneration rather than of the arid places, where death dessicates and the mummies, skeletons, ruins, Dead Sea Scrolls, last for centuries or millennia. Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) for electrical systems prevents every conveyor, shrink-wrap machine, and charging station from starting unexpectedly while personnel work inside the guard. It's a simple promise: no voltage, no surprise. Break that promise, and the motor doesn't care who's in the pinch zone. LOTO begins before the breaker handle moves and ends only when every lock is released in the correct order. The steps appear routine, yet skipping one can cause a live circuit to be activated or leave hidden energy in a capacitor. Treat the procedure like a flight checklist, because both protect lives and expensive equipment. Here are a few tips to assist you with Lockout Principles for Electrical Systems: Follow the book every time. Use the posted LOTO procedure word-for-word. Shortcuts invite errors and confuse the next shift. Prove zero. After isolating, use a calibrated meter to confirm that the voltage reads zero before hands or tools cross the guard. Test the tester on a live source first and after the check. Limit locks to the trained. Only employees on the authorized roster are permitted to hang locks or tags. Visitors and new hires observe but refrain from touching. Respect personal locks. Never remove or bypass someone else's device. Each lock equals a life. Track down the person or a supervisor if a lock blocks startup. Tag with clarity. Write your full name, department, date, and phone on every tag. Precise contact info speeds coordination when multiple crews share the same panel. A solid LOTO program stops more than shocks. It prevents sudden motion that can crush, cut, or eject parts. It also protects assets; an unexpected restart can wipe out hours of production and damage motors beyond repair. One of the top priorities of a solid Safety Culture is ensuring the well-being of everyone, both inside and outside the workplace. LOTO embodies that priority by forcing a pause and a double-check before anyone reaches into energized gear. Keep procedures visible, meters calibrated, and training records up to date. Ich teile mit dir meine Gedanken, Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse über das Thema Leistung und die Suche nach Anerkennung. Dabei lade ich dich ein, ehrlich zu dir selbst zu sein und dich zu fragen: Würdest du das, was du heute tust, auch tun, wenn niemand davon wüsste? Wenn niemand klatschen, loben oder dir auf die Schulter klopfen würde? Gerade durch mein Engagement im Ultracycling habe ich gelernt, wie wichtig es ist, sich selbst zu begegnen – in Momenten der Erschöpfung, an Grenzen, in Stille. Genau dort entsteht Lebensharmonie. Nicht durch Applaus, sondern durch Klarheit. Wenn ich mich frage: Mache ich das für mich – oder für das Außen? Diese Folge soll dich inspirieren, deine eigenen Muster zu hinterfragen. Wo strebst du nach Anerkennung? Und wo geht es dir eigentlich um dich selbst? Um dein Wachstum, deine Entwicklung und deine Innere Freiheit? Ich erzähle dir, wie ich gelernt habe, mich nicht länger vom Applaus anderer abhängig zu machen, sondern meine Motivation aus meinem Inneren zu schöpfen. Denn dort entsteht echte Lebensharmonie – unabhängig davon, ob jemand zusieht oder nicht. Wenn du bereit bist, deine unbewussten Muster zu erkennen und in bewusstes Handeln zu verwandeln, dann hör rein. Vielleicht ist auch für dich heute der Moment gekommen, ein inneres Limit zu brechen.

But as followers of Christ, we're not called to panic. We're called to walk in wisdom (Ephesians 5:15). That begins with slowing down and thinking critically.Pause before you respond. Scammers rely on urgency. If someone pressures you to act immediately—whether claiming your account is locked or your money is at risk—take a step back. Hang up. Verify the source independently. Urgency is often a red flag. Avoid untraceable payments. No legitimate organization will ask for payment via wire transfer or gift cards. These are the preferred tools of scammers because they're nearly impossible to recover.Practical Steps for Digital ProtectionFinancial stewardship now includes digital awareness. Here are practical ways to protect yourself and your family:Use credit cards, not debit cards, for online purchases. Credit cards usually come with stronger fraud protection. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on all your financial accounts. Even if a scammer gets your password, they can't access your account without a second form of verification. Don't reuse passwords. Use a secure password manager, such as Bitwarden or NordPass, to create and store strong, unique passwords. Set up account alerts. Most banks allow you to monitor activity in real-time, giving you a heads-up if something unusual occurs. Freeze your credit. It's free to do and offers one of the best defenses against identity theft. You can always unfreeze it temporarily when needed. Avoid public Wi-Fi for financial transactions. Wait until you're on a secure network or at home to check your bank accounts or make purchases. Limit what you share on social media. Personal details, such as birthdays or family names, can be used to guess passwords or security questions. Adjust your privacy settings and post wisely. Shred sensitive documents before discarding them. Even in the digital age, identity thieves still dig through trash. Don't click on unfamiliar links, even if they appear to come from someone you know. God's power is immeasurable. You can't calculate or quantify the power of God. It is beyond what we can see, know, and understand. God's power is without limit. When we pray, God can do more than we ask or imagine.Main Points:1. Most of us, in our moments of despair, have cried out to Lord and asked, “God, can you meet my needs? Are you able to provide what I need?” Theologically, we know God can do anything. We know He has all power. We understand He is the creator of all things, yet, when our back is up against the wall, we question whether God can and will meet our needs. But as we read His Word, we learn of His power, His might, and His ability. In reality, the question is not “What can God do? But what can God not do?”2. There is no lack with God. God never runs out of resources. He is never in short supply of whatever we need. He is a God of abundance.3. Speak truth to your own soul. Stand upon the never-changing Word of God.
