This is a start to a 3 part series on Faith, Hope, and Love. First we tackle the faith, the one that requires obedience from us above all things. Submission to the will of God, and dying to our foolish pride. Enjoy, Mike

How can a day like today be that which our Lord had for us and be called good? I ask Deacon Nick this question and we ponder at what point did Christians realize that sacrifice was necessary for salvation. All this and more in this somber episode of Man Fully Alive podcast. -Mike

Sacrifice. Yummy or Yucky? This episode has everything. It has got the Beatitudes, superheroes, peace, joy, all of it and more. Good luck absorbing everything in just one listen. What is Love? It is vague at best when it is portrayed in our culture. So what is it and what does scripture say about it? It is the driving force behind every epic story and is also the most misconstrued and the most distorted concept in life. Let us see if we can find some clearer pictures of love in scripture and think through what love really is. Enjoy, Mike and Nick
Humility - What good is it? Seriously, what value do we find in humility? That is the chestnut we try to crack open in this episode. It is one of the most difficult gifts to see value in because in order to grow in humility we have to be humiliated and detached from our pride. Join us, Mike
Gentlemen, Work? What for? This is a question that many men find themselves asking. What is the purpose of work and why does it play such a prominent role in men's lives. Is there a purpose for it? Does it have any additional benefit? This is what we talk about today.Drink it in, Mike
Pleasure...What a missed meaning and a misunderstood part of life. Today we look at Pleasure and this part of life and begin this 5 part series on searching for happiness. In our life we encounter so few people that have a genuine happiness that exudes from who they are at their core. We want to help you cultivate yourself and your families and friends into these men full of Joy. Enjoy part 1. -Mike
So we start this episode with a little ridiculousness... Jesus is asking us, "Who do you say that I am?" Tough question if only our actions were to be counted. I can say with my mouth Jesus is Lord, but if my actions are in direct conflict with that then the words are empty and lifeless. So I have to say this is a good epsidoe and maybe a transition episode to a new format. Enjoy, Michael
May the Lord guide us through this week. Nohing is more masculine than holiness. Pursue it with your whole self this week.
We are reeling this week with the news of what happened in Pennsylvania. Our Lord did not fail us but many of our clergy did and we are praying for healing and justice to be swift and certain. God have mercy on all parties involved. Lean into the reading this week and let us evaluate who we choose to surround ourselves with and the changes they bring about in us. Ask yourself: Am I more holy today by those I surround myself with? Am I brought closer to the Lord by who I spend time with? - Mike
The Eucharist IS the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ. We should take Christ at his word for he can neither deceive nor be deceived thus he is trustworthy. This means that what his church teaches about the Eucharist is also trustworthy and we are called to reach deeply into our soul and ask ourselves the hard question. Do I beleive? Is the Eucharist real? Does the answer form the way I live my life and if I don't know the answer am I seeking it through prayer, sacrments and spiritual direction?
We long for food. We drive to have it. We have cravings for it. We indulge in it. How often do we get together solely to enjoy it. However, we have access through Christ to food that satisfies for eternity. The food Jesus speaks of in this case IS himself. He is the passover lamb. Have a listen.
Are you a sheep without a shepherd? Valid question, especially if you are like me and are constantly trying to convince yourself that you have control of your life. The Lord is waiting to guide you but it is difficult to let go.Enjoy this weeks episode, Mike
This Episode is where Jesus is like, "You want a Piece of Me, really you do."
