Complete and fulfilling life has nothing whatsoever to do with how much we own, where we work or who we are married to.
Worry is not an emotion but simply a pattern of thinking that takes hold of our senses when we try to live independently of God.
Before anyone, wounded or not, can trust, they have to be able to love but, most importantly, they have to be able to love themselves.
There are days when most of us can barely come up with enough strength to get out of bed and face our day but we can still face life with courage and fight for every position along the road of life as an overcomer in and through Christ.
Before you can truly be rooted and built up in Christ, and free from the condemnation of your wounded heart, you must first surrender your wounded heart, by faith, and allow Christ in you to help you forgive those who have left you wounded.
Without walking in the identity of who we are in Christ, we will never be free from the torment of our past or our wounded heart.
Through the cross, Christ has delivered us from our past. A past that for those with wounded hearts no doubt includes a past filled with unforgiveness, bitterness, anger and a lack of self importance or value.
Our ability to overcome is simply dependent upon two things: First, it is dependent upon what we believe and second, it is dependent upon where we put our faith.
