10.14.25 - Day 9/13 of the Yellow Warrior Wavespell - Electric Moon 25 It's a Yellow Seed day in a Yellow Seed year. You can sometimes get a reminder of what the year is about when you come home to its tribe. Yellow Seed is focused, pinpointed, capable of waiting but driven toward initiating growth and finding the right place to best come to fruition. You might be eliminating things that are not healthy for your growth. And now we are almost to the end of the third moon of the year, things are both becoming clearer and leaving the arena of challenge. You are likely starting to see what you need to 'target,' your awareness is growing, you are in truth flowering, becoming something beautiful, even if it's the tightly compacted bud stage of such.  

10.11.25 - Day6/13 of the Yellow Warrior Wavespell - Electric Moon 22 The Yellow Warrior wavespell makes us fight, but not explosively, not in a tantrum. The reference to a 'warrior' here is an indigenous one, where the munitions were undeveloped and maybe maximally there was a catapult here and there with a boulder hurled across enemy lines, but overall hand-to-hand combat, with homemade weapons, was the only way to win. It's more likely that a 'nuclear' version of combat happens in say a Blue Storm wavespell, with the power of the sky and its fire bolts creating mass destruction, than now. So by this midpoint you will see where you are engaged in a fight for your sense of justice, and to protect those who are vulnerable. Even if you are fighting with a selfish motivation - it seems that way to you, if you're honest - look deeper. There are those who cannot fight, or see the aggressor and their own wounding (maybe they are too wounded to protect themselves) that you are standing up for. It's just a weird tic of the Yellow Warrior time that you can trust what is aggravating to you as a just cause. And you have to address it, just for this time, then it will be released.

10.8.25 - Day 3/13 of the Yellow Warrior Wavespell - Electric Moon 19 The Spectral Moon of 2025 is here. It might have woken you up, or kept you sleepless, under the full moon that ushered it in. The Spectral tone, of a collapsing wave, is an intense one. But the buildup of the White Solar Mirror year, a relentless ascendance of the challenges and huge disappointments of loss and sacrifice, has been nothing but intense, and any relief from that might feel like astonishing liberation and release. The Yellow Warrior wavespell always makes you fearless. It's as if you've been given a shield and suddenly you'll go into situations that normally would feel too dangerous. You surprise yourself with either personal or societal justice causes. It's also a departure from your norms, an elevated and rarified moment. Just as if you were leaving the comfort of home for the journey to battle, the everyday recedes and you are focused on the specifics of what war is waiting for you, and maybe the one you must actively engage in.

10.5.25 - Day 13/13 of the White Dog Wavespell - Electric Moon 16 When the Blue Night wavespell ends, hopefully you feel: situated in a home/shelter that you have in some way attended to, made safer or sweeter; had a massive nocturnal dream life, with long, expansive stories playing out in your psyche over restful hours; better off materially, or at ease with your material existence - maybe there's been a windfall, but mostly you just have a secure sense of being provided for. I find this to be the summary gift of Blue Night, and it's why I think of it as one of the charmed tribes for us to roll through. It doesn't have aggravating triggers for the human ego, but instead soothes us where our ego wants us to have security. Being unhoused in this culture is a humiliation. Blue Night provides shelter, and so we are less ashamed. Lacking material ease - or money - also makes us 'less than,' so it is extraordinarily helpful to have time pass that supports our experience of 'havingness' or abundance. And now we say goodbye to this focused, honed security, until next time.
