5.30.25 - Day 2/13 of the White Worldbridger Wavespell - Crystal Moon 1 We made it. It's the Crystal Moon, or more notably it's no longer the Spectral one. That was an upsetting 28 days, upsetting being operative as a descriptor for instability, life being thrown into disarray, and all the emotional responses. Like grief. Like panic. Like overwhelm. And now, truly, it's past. The Crystal tone is about resolution, and calming and settling. It has arrived. It's not a panacea for all the ways we have been in disarray ourselves. We still have the White Worldbridger wavespell to teach us about death - that can feel stressful. We still have the wavespell beyond that - Blue Storm. That is the definition of disruption and chaos. But in terms of the year's cyclical movement, every time we pass through 'June,' essentially, we are in the Crystal Moon. And we can recognize that the joy or ease of summer - warmth and light and vacation - does seem easier to us all.

5.26.25 - Day 11/13 of the Red Skywalker Wavespell - Spectral Moon 25 It's a Spectral day in a Spectral Moon, and the waning of that tone in our annual cycle. You can feel the intensity or overkill of the Spectral energy today, then kiss it goodbye for a year. It's a specialized, acquired taste. And an endurance test. But you passed the test, and you are stronger. You are more liberated, dissolved of tension or the fight for accomplishment and acquisition. You are more humble and amenable. You have let go. You are not a failure if you fell apart. You are not feeble if you lost control of your narrative, or your drive or will. You are just on an imposed vacation, downbeat, a dissolution. And when the pandemonium that works on the human ego has passed - imminently - you will find that you are actually someone who has completed bold and decisive karma, every part of an incredible and awake journey that included overcoming a series of obstacles and then launching yourself over the top of that steep mountain into whatever comes after. You are almost done flying through the air, and when you land you will recognize the terrain as actually a dear homecoming to yourself and whom you love.

5.12.25 - Day 10/13 of the Yellow Sun Wavespell - Spectral Moon 11 The Spectral Moon is moving along at a clip, and we don't have much time in this rapid descent of our annual wavespell. It is 1/10th the time of our long upward climb. So it is chaotic, and quick, and if it feels really difficult, it will be over soon. If you like the cosmic ride of so much intensified change, of the wondrous spiritual principle of letting go, of the relaxation you feel when your personality obliges and accepts what is, then you must enjoy this moment. It's actually probably a fluctuation of liking and disliking what the Spectral tone brings. There are things we love to let go of, and things that hurt to do so. But if you come back to the question of the Spectral moment, How do I release and let go?, you will have a mantra, a touchstone. You can get help with that act, as a prayer, show me how to release and let go; turn me towards releasing and letting go; I'm willing to release and let go - help me.

Day 2/13 of the Yellow Sun wavespell - Spectral Moon 3 The collab of Yellow Sun and the Spectral Moon - their starting up in tandem - has been a true vibrational shift. We were in the heady, 'doing', practically anti-mystical fusion of Blue Hand and the Planetary Moon, and both prevented a ton of spiritual connection. Now we are in the wonder of being fed pure enlightenment and a connection to the godhead of the sun itself, alongside the invitation or insistence on surrender that the Spectral tone brings. It took a minute to be sure it's real - 'I can feel/pray/rely on the god I understand again' - but now it seems to have traction. I love waking up, experiencing panic about the same set of dilemmas that existed days ago, with the impulse to 'turn it over,' or simply say, 'Please help.' You know it's a time of undoing. With god on/by your side, you can trust where the disintegration, or basic relaxation, takes you.

Everything that began last July and August is reaching its highest manifestation and achievement in the next four weeks. You can't pick what your achievement is, but you can be present and awake each day of this moon watching it arrive. You will of course get a sense of it as it becomes material, and this process is magical, invigorating, awesome and also fraught. We are simultaneously experiencing the end of an ascent that has been rising for the entire Natural Time year. Gravity is going to keep us from going any further, and so we will notice our accomplishments, but also what is going to prevent us from endlessly achieving more.

We're incorrigible Genesis fans. We hail every bit of output from 1970 to 1978. We even go further than that. 2.24.24 - Day 11/13 of the White Wind Wavespell - Galactic Moon 18 The Spectral day can drown out  any other Natural Time rhythms. We are in the midst of exploring the positive/negative patriarchal imagery of White Wind; we are in the emotional uproar of the third Western week of the Galactic Moon. But all our grappling with these larger cycles, our best attempts to endure them, can be thrown into disarray by a Spectral day in the midst. And add that it's a Spectral day in the arena of our human species, with its free will and selfish wants. This day can feel both containing and contaminating. Jamming ourselves into the human form. adopting the human mindset, can feel like a limitation. In the midst of disruptive, challenging powers in all areas of our astrology passage, it is perfectly appropriate to fall apart. We'll see what tomorrow brings. At minimum, greater calm and the possibility of resolution.

Pigs appear in folklore in somewhat unusual ways. Sometimes, they choose the location where a church should be built. Or they appear as phantoms, haunting misty moorland. Sailors or fishermen considered pigs unlucky, and wouldn't even say 'pig' at sea. If they met a pig on their way to the boat, they would postpone sailing. Some of them went so far as to ban pork products on board. While this superstition seems inexplicable on the surface, Jacqueline Simpson suggests it comes from the biblical association between pigs and uncleanliness.
