The Baby Boomer vs. Millennial relationship and interaction gets bad rep, a lot, but theres so much more to these two generations, especially when it comes to the fight for racial equity and justice in black and brown communities... Let's talk about it. The struggle for racial equity and justice is FAR from new in American culture. It continues to be a generational fight, struggle, and conversation piece. I sat down this week with my mom, Patricia, for a discussion on racial justice and her perspective as a baby boomer!

A few interesting facts about diversity in Springfield from the 2020 Community Research Report: 92% of respondents have experienced an incident of hostility or discrimination based on the basis of their race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability. 49% of respondents say that the lack of diversity and inclusion are what they like least about Springfield. 44% of respondents don't see themselves living in Springfield 5 years from now. 38% of respondents would recommend Springfield to other professionals as a place to live and pursue a career.
