Episode 14 To make up for leaving our listeners hanging last week, we have two full hours of trivia fun this episode! For the General Knowledge competition, QuizMaster Naju has a fresh set of questions from a new trivia book, which, of course, is from the United Kingdom (whose form of government is not at all dated or archaic or would give us any reason to speak ill of it). Plus, a deeper look at some of last weeks topics in BobTalk and a friendly exchange about differing cultural practices.
Episode 13 This week we join the guys as they reminisce about the good old days of the internet and discuss exactly how counting of numbers and seasons works. Followed by a fascinating BobTalk about the etymology of the word "meteorology" and a breakdown of the different grains of the world. We even find out what the difference between "noodles" and "pasta" is. And, of course, we play another round of General Knowledge trivia.
Episode 12 We're back! The doors are finally open again as we welcome you back from the cold trivia-less wilderness that was the winter break into the warm embrace of your QuizQuarters...which means the guys can't wait to jump right back into trivia and the wider world of everything interesting. In this episode, we learn about Lilly Pads, the surprisingly long and convoluted story of how the Monkey Wrench got its name, and more in another installment of BobTalk. Then the guys get back into the competition as Bobber and Mher play another general knowledge game as presented by the QuizMaster Naju. A new year means a new season of our podcast, so please enjoy this inaugural episode of Season 2.
Episode 11 Here's another sweet, short one for you all to enjoy during the holiday season. Filled with BobTalk and another "Who Am I?" with a distinct theme. This will be our last episode of the year, so come play along and listen to the fun conversation for the last time in 2018. From everyone down here at your QuizQuarters: have a very Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays! And don't forget to join us again in January!
Episode 10 Listen for BobTalks, sirens, helicopters, and MORE! We have a nice compact episode this week, starting with a discussion of the history of music videos, sigils, and pachyderms before moving on to another single question match between Bobber and Mher as asked by QuizMaster Naju.
Episode 9 It's a long one, but well worth it. Listen to the fun conversation the guys have before learning all about some of the most intriguing and puzzling topics from previous episodes in this installment of BobTalk. This time's game is a single question series with opportunities to steal. Naju's asking the questions to Bobber and Mher. It's another close, competitive match, so let's find out who will win this time...
Episode 8 BLEEEEEP! New mic, a new sound-effect? You won't BLEEPING believe it! Join the guys this time for an exciting, competitive match-up between Bobber and Mher with questions supplied by Naju. This time the questions are even tougher, but that's the way we love it here at the QuizQuarters--competitive trivia matches with more interesting topics to explore for future episodes. Do you think the questions are difficult? Or even deceitfully sports-related (as some may claim)? Will your mind be blown by the discussion of an interesting topic from last episode? Let's BLEEPIN' find out.
Episode 7 New baby and new questions! The guys are back after a small break during which Mher became a new dad and, most importantly, the new owner of a fresh set of trivia questions. Hear them discuss "teacher in classroom" movies, other podcasts and trivia shows, a crazed cat, plus much, much more. Oh yeah, they also play trivia.
Episode 6 We're just hanging out, right? Back to the original trio and game (single questions worth one point each, but remember, the opponent may steal).
