Going after big, life-changing (or even smaller) goals can bring out our biggest fears, insecurities and doubts. I learned this journaling exercise from Tim Ferris - it takes about 30 minutes to complete and 100% changed the way I look at my goals, dreams and vision for my life. I hope you like it!
We're all smart, kind, talented, entrepreneurial, etc. in our own ways. This one short phrase helped me reframe how I think about myself and my talents. Hope you like it, too!

You know things are getting wonky when I record an episode with my retainer in (let me know if you can tell...) and I record in bed (rule #1 in this house: no computer on the bed). 6 weeks into Coronavirus lockdown here in New York, empty streets, empty cafes and empty shops have lost their shock value. Now they feel normal. In fact, I think it will feel strange to be close to people again, walk past a packed restaurant, stand next to someone at a crosswalk... This short pod is about what I see when I walk down an empty street. Love to you all.
You'd think being closer to the end of this journey than the beginning that I'd have more clarity about the future. You'd think. Here's how I'm keeping my energy aligned and my path straight even in the face of uncertainty.
It's easy to keep tabs on what we've lost. Money, freedom, touch, opportunity, travel, weddings...on and on. This episode is about how you can shift your mindset, measure the immeasurable and find forward-looking peace.
If Coronavirus has taught us anything, it's to plan for the unexpected. This podcast is for the person who maintained most or all of their income during COVID-19 and is okay financially during this time, but might not have been okay if they had lost any income. Ep 55: You Are the Biggest, Baddest Floatie: Coronavirus Edition by Amy Ogden
We talk a lot about redefining success, but what about redefining progress? Who says progress is always "up and forward?" Not me. Not anymore, anyways. Let's dive into that together.
You know how you see a movie for the second time and you're much more calm when the main character gets in a pickle? You know they'll ultimately be okay. That's how I look at life - even when the craziest things happen, I know that in the end, I'll be okay. And you will too.
There's so much we don't know right now. So much. I'm struggling with the unknowns like many of you. I was listening to an audiobook tonight that gave me a wonderful way to gain some perspective in this very unknown time. I'm sharing this with you in today's podcast. Sending so much love.
When you feel like everything you have has been taken away, it's a beautiful time to lean into gratitude. This weekend I started a daily gratitude practice and it's giving me peace and calm during this unknown time. Focusing on what we do have versus what we don't is such a wonderful way to calm our minds and lighten our spirits. As we move into our second month of quarantine, I'm sending you all so much love.
I read this piece and felt called to share it with you. Sending so much love this Passover and Easter.
Today's podcast is a little different. We'll talk about your brain's response to isolation, why looking "really far out" is important and why you might be napping more than usual.
We're all quiet with our thoughts more than ever before. I'm using this time to explore journaling and listening to what my spirit has to say. Loving you from afar. xx
This is a strange time and you shouldn't expect to be "yourself" every day. We're all navigating this together and individually. You are allowed (welcomed!) to have a different day, hour, minute and then choose again. This is no playbook. Let's be graceful and flow through this together.
So many of us are dealing with the reality of a financial pullback or worried about the financial future, post-Coronavirus. With everyone staying at home and daily life much more streamlined for the moment, this is a great time to evaluate your expenses. Here we are. Somewhere in the middle. The takeoff is over, but the landing is nowhere to be seen and we don't know how long the flight will be. Today's pod is about this space in the middle.
We're in it. No one knows when we'll get to the other side, but this is starting to feel like the middle. Maybe it's messy or maybe it's magic.

Have you ever let something bother you for years? I have. I carried this little emotional wound for years and found out just this week that I had my facts wrong this whole time. None of us are perfect and clearly our minds and memories aren't, either. Take a moment to think about any past grudges or situations and open your mind up - your memory may not be exactly right (I was sure mine was), or you may not see all sides of the story. Either way, it feels really good to find peace with these old wounds and move on.
