Start your year with calm, clarity, and a meaningful New Year's Day meditation ceremony designed to help you reset your nervous system, welcome a fresh start, and set intentions you can actually follow. In this guided practice, you'll use soothing slow-breathing to settle your body, a simple water-and-candle ritual to mark a new beginning, and an inspiring story to remind you that you don't have to change everything at once—you only need to open the doorway. You'll also create one clear intention for the year ahead and turn it into a practical "if–then" plan (a research-backed tool for follow-through), so your goal feels steady and doable—not overwhelming. Press play on this gentle New Year meditation anytime you want to begin again: New Year's morning, a quiet afternoon, or any day you need a true reset. Settle in with a candle, a pen, a few pieces of paper, a glass of water, salt or sugar, and a few quiet minutes. Your next chapter begins here. RESOLUTIONS! A new year has arrived, which means it's time to make bold promises you'll quietly abandon by mid-January. But fret not: Chris, Amanda and Matt have returned from a long podcasting hiatus with 3 drinks and a plan to ensure 2026 is your best year ever. Unfortunately, things quickly fall apart after Amanda pours a drink laden with half a stick of butter while admitting she has no ability to track her schedule. Matt then attempts to raise the conversational IQ by questioning whether it's harder to start a good habit or to break a bad one, but the group instead fixates on Amanda's Cheez-It addiction. If you're looking to start 2026 in style, look no further than this latest episode of the 3 Questions, 3 Drinks podcast.  DRINKS IN THIS EPISODE:HOT BUTTERED RUM >> 1 oz dark rum, 1 tbsp butter, 1–2 tsp brown sugar, Hot water, Nutmeg (for garnish). Add butter and brown sugar to a mug. Pour in rum and top with hot water (less than you think). Stir until melted. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg. Best enjoyed on a snowy day, preferably while questioning your life choices. WATERSHED BOURBON >> Watershed Distillery Uncut, Unfiltered Straight Bourbon. Pour two fingers worth of bourbon over ice (or enjoy neat if you're feeling brave). Sip slowly while running your fingers through your newfound chest hair. MARTINEZ COCKTAIL >> 1½ oz Dingle Gin, 1 ½ oz sweet vermouth, 1 tsp maraschino liqueur (Luxardo preferred), 2 dashes Angostura bitters. Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an orange peel and/or a Cheez-It.If you've been enjoying the 3Q3D podcast, please subscribe and consider giving us a rating, a review, or sharing an episode with a friend.  Follow our social sites here:Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/3drinkspodcast/?hl=enFacebook:  https://www.facebook.com/3Drinkspodcast

Then, you'll craft one clear intention for the year ahead—grounded in a practical "if-then" plan so your new start feels steady, doable, and kind. On Day 3 of Closing the Year with Gratitude and Grace, we shift into GROUND—the practice of finding your footing before the new year arrives. If your mind has been looping through what happened this year (or racing ahead into what's next), this episode will bring you back into your body with a calming, science-backed breathing practice called Coherent Breathing (5 seconds in, 5 seconds out). You'll learn why grounding works—how slow, steady breathing supports your nervous system, quiets mental noise, and helps you feel safe enough to settle. Through a gentle shoreline story and an embodied guided meditation, you'll release the urge to "figure it all out" and instead reconnect with what's steady, true, and already within you. #1303 Day 7: Lasting Joy Practice - "Awaken to Joy Celebration Meditations"

Daily Meditation Podcast

Welcome to the final episode of our joy journey—an invitation to gather everything you've practiced and carry it forward as a living, breathing way of being. In this longer, closing meditation, you'll be guided to return to your joyful center—breath by breath—until joy feels less like an idea and more like a felt experience in your body. From that steadiness, you'll reflect on what it means to choose joy as a daily practice: not by avoiding life, but by meeting life with a softer nervous system, clearer boundaries, and a kinder inner voice. This finale is about integration. You'll anchor into the kind of joy you can return to in real moments—before a difficult conversation, in the middle of a busy day, or when the world feels heavy. Be guided as you immerse yourself in the healing balm of nature. Then, as we close the series, you'll gently expand that joy outward—offering it to the people you love, your community, and the wider world—knowing that what you cultivate within truly matters. Thank you for being here, for showing up for yourself, and for choosing a more joyful way forward. This is day 7 of a 7-day meditation series, "Awaken to Joy Celebration Meditations," episodes 1297-1303. ABOUT THIS WEEK'S MEDITATION JOURNEY: As the year gently comes to a close, this special episode of Awaken to Joy Celebration Meditations invites you into a sacred pause. Between this week's celebrations of Christmas and Hanukkah, and any other spiritual celebrations, light and love are celebrated in different ways—but the invitation is the same: to slow down, reflect, and soften into gratitude. This special bonus episode of Awaken to Joy is part of a meditation series I recorded a few years ago—created not for a moment in time, but for moments like this. As the year draws to a close and the light of celebration fills the season, I wanted to offer this meditation as a gift of gratitude to you, my listeners. These reflections are timeless by design—an invitation to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with peace, gratitude, and inner light. Whether you're celebrating, resting, or simply needing a pause, this meditation is my way of saying thank you for being here. May it bring you calm, comfort, and gentle joy as one year ends and another begins. ✨ With deep gratitude, ✨ A moment of stillness, just for you ✨ A new beginning softly forming. #1302 Day 6: Release Self-Doubt - "Awaken to Joy Celebration Meditations"

Day 6 is a gentle peace meditation for the third chakra (solar plexus)—the inner space of confidence, purpose, and passion. When life feels noisy or demanding, this center can tighten into pressure, self-doubt, or overthinking. Today's longer, supportive practice helps you return to a calmer relationship with your own power—so your passions can feel steady, warm, and true. You'll be guided to settle the breath, soften the body, and bring kind attention to the area above the belly button—inviting ease into the places where you've been holding yourself too tightly. As peace gathers within you, you'll reconnect with the quiet spark that says: I'm allowed to want what I want. I'm allowed to care. I'm allowed to begin again. This meditation is not about forcing motivation. It's about clearing space so your natural joy and desire can rise without pressure—grounded, sustainable, and aligned with who you are now. We'll close by gently expanding that peace outward, letting your calm confidence become something you carry into the world. On Christmas Day (and on any day), you're invited into a loving, spacious meditation that helps you nurture peace within yourself—and gently share that peace outward. This practice is for everyone, whether you celebrate Christmas or not. It's a universal moment to pause, breathe, and remember that peace is not something we wait for the world to give us; it's something we can cultivate inside, then carry into our relationships, our homes, and the spaces we move through. You'll be guided to soften the body, settle the mind, and return to a calm inner center. From there, you'll begin to expand—offering quiet well-wishes to the people you love, the people you worry about, and even the people you find difficult. Not as a forced positivity, but as a sincere, grounded intention: may peace touch your life; may you feel supported; may you be well. Let this meditation be a gentle gift you give yourself first—so what you offer others is real, steady, and nourishing. Day 4 invites you into a longer, restorative meditation on peace—the quiet strength that softens the heart without asking you to ignore reality. When the world feels heavy, peace becomes a way to stay human: present, discerning, and still open. You are offered preparation to create a personal Peace Retreat for yourself.  Whether you celebrate Christmas Eve or not, this is a universal meditation for peace. You'll be guided to settle your breath, soften the body, and release the mental noise that pulls you away from the present. From that steady inner stillness, you'll practice offering peace to the world in a grounded, sincere way—without forcing positivity, and without needing anything to be perfect. In this practice, you'll be gently guided to release the tightness that can build from disappointment, frustration, or fatigue, and to reconnect with the part of you that still believes in goodness. Through calming breath and heartfelt reflection, you'll explore how peace can restore faith in humanity—not by pretending everything is perfect, but by remembering that peace still exists, and you can be a source of it too. You'll offer peace inward first—creating safety and steadiness within—then gradually extend it outward, allowing your heart to reopen in a wise, grounded way. You'll leave this meditation feeling clearer, softer, and more connected, with an inner reminder that peace is both protection and power. Come as you are. Let this be a pause. A reset. A return to what matters. This is day 4 of a 7-day meditation series, "Awaken to Joy Celebration Meditations," episodes 1297-1303. Today's theme is a powerful one: joy is our first and most fundamental responsibility. Not as a performance, and not as something we wait to "earn," but as a daily priority we practice—one breath, one choice, one moment at a time. In this longer, bonus-style meditation, you'll be invited to release the habit of postponing your happiness and to reconnect with what's already present beneath the noise. You'll be guided into a simple breathing technique designed to cultivate joy from the inside out—a gentle way to shift your nervous system toward ease, brightness, and quiet aliveness. As you breathe, you'll strengthen your ability to choose joy—softly, sincerely, and without guilt—so it becomes a steady inner home you can return to anytime. This is day 3 of a 7-day meditation series, "Awaken to Joy Celebration Meditations," episodes 1297-1303. The Holiday Emotional Hangover: Managing People When You're Running On Empty

Greedy Bitch

Hello, hello — and welcome back to Greedy Bitch, the podcast for groomers who are done apologizing for wanting more. I'm your host, River Lee, founder of The Savvy Groomer — and if you're new here, this show is where we talk about the real side of running a grooming business: the money, the mindset, and the messy middle that no one warns you about. And today, whew… we're talking about the holiday emotional hangover — managing people when you're running on empty. December isn't just busy. It's emotionally contagious. Everyone's buzzing, frazzled, sugar-crashing — and you're the one trying to keep it all together. So grab your coffee, or maybe that third peppermint mocha, and let's talk about what happens when your clients' emotions start colliding with your own — and how to calm the storm without losing your mind. Alright, let's just call it what it is — December has big energy. Everyone's rushing, panicking, over-spending, over-promising, and under-resting. And guess who they bring that energy to? You. It's like being the emotional barista for the entire town. They come in steaming, foaming at the top, and expect you to serve them calm in a to-go cup. I call it emotional glitter — because it gets everywhere. You think you've brushed it off, but nope — it's on your schedule, your inbox, your mood, your poor bather who just wanted to eat their sandwich in peace. Picture this: A client bursts through your door — breathless, late, apologizing — “Oh my god, I'm so sorry, traffic was crazy, I had to fight three people at Target for a Squishmallow, the kids are screaming, the tree fell over…” And before you even realize it, you're vibrating at a 9 out of 10 and you haven't even touched a dog yet. That's what I mean when I say December is emotionally contagious. You can pick up someone else's stress faster than dog hair on a clean pair of black leggings. Now here's the first truth I need you to remember:

In this final episode of the series, we explore what it truly means to return to calm presence—not as a perfect state, but as a place you can come back to again and again. You'll learn why calm isn't the absence of disturbance, but the ability to remain grounded within it. Drawing on neuroscience, we look at how gentle repetition, nervous system regulation, and vagal tone help calm become a familiar baseline rather than a fleeting moment. Through a simple story and reflective guidance, this episode invites you to notice the quiet moments of steadiness already woven into your day. This is not about fixing yourself or chasing peace. It's about remembering the way home. Perfect for listening during a pause, a walk, or as a closing ritual to this journey. ALL ABOUT THIS WEEK'S SERIES This week on The Daily Meditation Podcast, we're beginning a special 7-day meditation series designed to help you gently release emotional buildup and reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and inner balance. So many of us move through our days carrying emotions we never had time to process — lingering stress, emotional fatigue, or subtle tension that quietly accumulates. This series offers a supportive pause, giving your nervous system space to settle and your emotional world room to reset. Each day, you'll be guided through a short meditation with a specific emotional focus, following a gentle daily arc that builds naturally across the week. We'll move from releasing emotional residue, to resting and grounding the nervous system, to creating emotional boundaries, self-soothing, restoring balance, and finally embodying calm presence. You don't need to prepare, analyze, or do anything extra. Simply listening each day is enough. Each meditation stands on its own, while also supporting a deeper sense of emotional ease as the week unfolds. Whether you listen to one episode or join us for the full 7-day journey, this series is an invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself. What if emotional balance isn't about staying calm—but about staying connected? In this episode, we explore the science of emotional regulation, the nervous system's role in emotional overwhelm, and why trying to suppress or "fix" emotions often makes them stronger. You'll learn how emotions are designed to move through the body, what actually helps them resolve, and how to restore balance without bypassing what you feel. Through neuroscience, gentle reflection, and a powerful story, Day 6 invites you to stop fighting your emotions and start listening to them—so balance can naturally return. This is not about controlling your feelings. It's about trusting yourself to feel them. We dive into the first chakra as the energetic and neurological root of belonging, regulation, and sustainable change. You'll learn how the arc of growth bends downward before it rises, why the nervous system must feel safe before transformation can last, and how nurture is not a luxury—but a biological requirement for integration. vCon Foundation: Why Virtualized Conversations Will Redefine Cloud Communications, Podcast

In this special podcast for the Cloud Communications Alliance (CCA) and Technology Reseller News, Doug Green speaks with Jeff Pulver of the vCon Foundation about the accelerating momentum behind vCon technology and why it will play a defining role in the next era of cloud and AI-powered communications. The conversation was recorded in advance of Cloud Connections 2026, where Pulver will be a featured speaker. Pulver, a long-time pioneer in internet communications and standards development, explains that vCon—short for virtualized conversation—is fundamentally a new way to capture, secure, and analyze conversations across voice, video, messaging, email, and other communication modes. Often described as “a PDF for conversations,” vCon provides a tamper-resistant, optionally encrypted container that preserves not only the dialogue itself, but also participants, attachments, metadata, purpose, consent, and AI-generated analysis. The result, Pulver says, is something businesses have never truly had before: truth and memory for every conversation. Why vCons matter now, Pulver explains, comes down to AI. Large language models were trained early on using open standards, including IETF specifications. Because vCon is emerging as an IETF standard, AI systems already “understand” its structure. This dramatically reduces ambiguity and hallucination when conversational history is analyzed at scale. Instead of constantly retraining AI to interpret proprietary formats, organizations can rely on a standardized conversational container that delivers consistent, reliable results across platforms. Pulver believes this shift creates an opportunity as significant as the rise of cloud communications itself. As AI and communications converge, new services, new revenue streams, and entirely new business models become possible. From “smart” SIP trunks and AI-enhanced collaboration tools to enterprise-wide conversational recall, vCons enable organizations of any size—from solopreneurs to global enterprises—to operate with greater efficiency, compliance, and intelligence. “The people who lose out,” Pulver notes, “are the ones who don't embrace AI.” Looking ahead, Pulver predicts that 2026 will be the year of the vCon, as the ecosystem matures and channel partners, service providers, and enterprises begin turning virtualized conversations into real-world value. For members of the CCA community, he sees vCon as a practical, accessible way to add intelligence, differentiation, and new revenue to existing cloud communications offerings. Daily Meditation Podcast

Day 4 of the Emotional Reset 7-Day Journey focuses on grounding through inner stability. Building on the foundation of nervous system regulation, this episode explores how stillness, focused attention, and embodied awareness support emotional balance. You'll be guided through a calming meditation using Gyan Mudra, a traditional hand gesture shown to support focus and nervous system regulation through sensory feedback. Grounded in neuroscience and somatic awareness, this practice helps quiet mental noise and cultivate a sense of clarity that can be accessed anywhere. Day 4 reminds us that grounding doesn't always come from the outside — sometimes it's found in the quiet steadiness within. This is day 4 of a 7-day meditation series, "Emotional Reset: Your 7-Day Plan," episodes 3430-3436. YOUR WEEKLY CHALLENGE: "The Gentle Reset Challenge" Pause once daily. Hand on heart. Mike's out, so naturally Mookie immediately starts messing with the background, and somehow that becomes a recurring issue all night. We kick things off with beer intros before diving headfirst into the Joe Burrow discourse. Is he hinting at retirement, or is he just completely done with Cincinnati? Fans don't seem especially sympathetic, especially when the Bengals once again look like one of the most dysfunctional franchises in the league, capped off by violating NFL policy and forcing fans to shovel snow out of their own seats before getting shut out by Baltimore. Things spiral from there. Patrick Mahomes blows out his knee, the Tom Brady comparisons come fast, and we try to figure out where the Chiefs go from here, including which NFC team Mahomes might randomly win a Super Bowl with a decade from now. With Mahomes, Burrow, and likely Lamar Jackson out of the picture, we ask the uncomfortable question: is this finally Josh Allen's year? Somewhere in the middle of all that, Phillip Rivers comes out of retirement, looks terrible throwing the football, still scores a touchdown, and somehow drags us into a full Hall of Fame debate, complete with conspiracy theories, Colin Kaepernick questions, and a Sip/Chug/Drainpour breakdown of why Rivers actually came back (insurance money, resume padding, or escaping his kids). We also get into the Bills releasing Blizzard Brew, a beer literally made from snow at Highmark Stadium, LaKeith Stanfield being cast as Dennis Rodman in a Vegas disappearance movie, and a minor league hockey team fully committing to chaos with a “Birds Aren't Real” rebrand. There are…a lot of CFB26 clips. Too many, honestly. Chapters: 00:00:00 Introduction | Mookie messes with background since Mike's out 00:04:05 Beer Intros 00:10:01 Is Joe Burrow going to retire? Or does he just want out of Cincinnati? 00:17:48 Phillip Rivers starts for the Colts and, despite looking horrible throwing the ball, still had a tuddy and a chance to win 00:18:57 Nobody really feels bad for Burrow, so his complaints aren't getting him anywhere with fans 00:22:09 Mike gets angry at the background 00:24:11 The Bengals are looking at a fine for not clearing snow off the seats prior to playing Baltimore 00:31:05 The Brown family is never selling the Bengals 00:37:16 Patrick Mahomes blows out his knee and everyone is making the Tom Brady comparisons 00:41:20 Where do the Chiefs go from here? 00:44:37 If Patrick Mahomes is truly following the Tom Brady path, which NFC team does he end winning a Super Bowl with in a decade? 00:49:10 Mookie drops a CFB26 clip 00:49:36 With Mahomes and Burrow (and likely Lamar) eliminated, is it Josh Allen's year? 00:52:19 Current Super Bowl odds 00:56:10 Does Phillip Rivers deserve HOF consideration after coming back to the Colts? 00:59:28 Mookie drops another CFB26 clip 01:00:47 The Bills and Bud Light partner for Blizzard Brew, a beer made with the snow that fell at Highmark Stadium 01:06:53 Another Mookie CFB26 clip 01:08:09 Conspiracy theories about WHY Phillip Rivers came out of retirement to play for the Colts 01:12:32 Did anyone even check with Colin Kaepernick before calling Rivers? 01:13:40 Sip, Chug, Drainpour - Phillip Rivers Motivation For Coming Back: needs the insurance, pad his HOF resume, just wants to get away from his kids 01:16:20 Seriously, Mookie. Enough with the CFB26 clilps 01:17:26 How does Phillip Rivers even relate to his current teammates? 01:21:30 Why are there more CFB26 clips, Mookie?! 01:22:41 LaKeith Stanfield is set to play Dennis Rodman in a movie about Rodman's disappearance mid-season to Vegas 01:29:33 Minor League hockey team hosts a "Birds Aren't Real" night and rebrands as the Surveillance Swans for the night 01:30:49 Should a minor league hockey team do a magic night to bring in more black fans? 01:35:26 Beer recaps 01:37:20 This was a show 01:37:30 Outro #NFL #JoeBurrow #PatrickMahomes #JoshAllen #Bengals #Chiefs #Bills #SportsPodcast #CraftBrewedSports

You've collected the crystals, journals, oracle decks, meditations, breathwork practices, and spiritual tools… so why do you still feel stuck? In this episode of Cacao Conversations, Julietta and Graciela explore a pattern they see all the time in the healing and personal growth space: endlessly searching for the right tool to fix everything—then abandoning it when the results aren't instant. We talk about why most healing tools don't fail… we simply don't stay with them long enough. You'll learn the difference between collecting tools and actually embodying them, why consistency matters more than finding the perfect practice, and how our culture's addiction to instant gratification quietly sabotages real transformation. This is an honest, compassionate conversation about self-trust, devotion, and what it truly takes to create lasting change—without shame, pressure, or spiritual perfectionism. If you've ever felt frustrated, overwhelmed, or tempted to try “just one more thing,” this episode is an invitation to stop searching… and start listening. Sip. This week on The Daily Meditation Podcast, we're beginning a special 7-day meditation series designed to help you gently release emotional buildup and reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and inner balance. In this fifth episode of the Peace series, we turn our attention to the Third Chakra—Manipura, the center of inner strength, confidence, and personal power. During seasons of transition, this chakra can become clouded by doubt, fatigue, or emotional heaviness, making it harder to feel grounded or at peace. Today's practice is designed to gently reignite the warm, steady flame within you—without force, pressure, or striving. Through calming guided awareness, you'll be invited to soften into the area around your solar plexus, releasing tension and reconnecting with the quiet strength that lives beneath the surface. This is not about pushing forward—it's about remembering your inner stability, the part of you that remains steady even when life feels fast or uncertain. By awakening the Third Chakra with intention and gentleness, you may notice a subtle shift: clearer boundaries, lighter energy, and a renewed sense of calm confidence. Peace is not only a softening—it is also a steadying. And today, you reconnect with both. Manipura invites you to feel warm, centered, and quietly powerful—ready to move through the season with peace glowing from within. This is a replay of a series I recorded a few years ago!
