It's the end of an era...but not CockTales.Medinah returns to CockTales one final time to share what she's been up to, what she's learned during this season of transition, and why she made the difficult decision to step away from the show after nearly 500 episodes.Kiki and Medinah reflect on growing up publicly, doing things scared, navigating new relationships, unlearning old patterns, and accepting when something meaningful no longer aligns with the direction your life is taking. They also discuss the pressure to give people every detail, why closure does not always come with a dramatic explanation, and how walking away does not have to erase the love, memories, and work that came before it.There are tears, laughter, old CockTales memories, a few final confessions, and an honest goodbye to the chapter they created together.Thank you to everyone who listened, supported, laughed, traveled, attended live shows, and grew alongside CockTales over the years. This week on Fright Flick FMK, we're watching and reacting to Wormtown — a sci-fi horror body-horror nightmare about a town taken over by flesh-eating, mind-altering worms. One year into the plague, Ashland, Ohio has stopped acting like a normal town and started acting like a parasite-worshipping nightmare. A cult-like mayor is running the show, the infected are spreading their worm gospel, and three uninfected women are trying to survive through scavenging, extreme hygiene, paranoia, and whatever bad decisions are left on the table. So yes, this sounds disgusting. And yes, that is exactly why we're watching it. Fright Flick FMK is a horror movie watch-along and reaction show for fans who like their scary movies with attitude, laughs, real reactions, and zero fake polish. We kick back, get elevated, pour a drink, press play, and talk through the chaos in real time. For Wormtown, we're digging into the body horror, the parasite madness, the cult-town energy, the survival setup, the gross-out moments, and whether this movie crawls under our skin or just makes us want to shower immediately. At the end, we rate it with The Only Rating System That Matters: Marry It means the movie is a keeper — the kind of horror flick you can grow old with and keep coming back to. F@#k It means it's a good time when the mood hits — maybe not forever material, but definitely worth another late-night visit. Kill It means the movie gave us a good time, we might tell our friends about it, but we are ghosting it in the morning. So pull up a chair, pour whatever you're pouring, light whatever you're lighting, and join the Fright Flick Family. Sip. Smoke. Scream. Rate. Drop your FMK rating for Wormtown in the comments: Are you giving it Marry It, F@#k It, or Kill It? #Wormtown #FrightFlickFMK #HorrorReaction

How much of your life is on hold? How many times have you told yourself: "When I have more time..." "When I feel more confident..." "When I'm less busy..." "When I know exactly what to do..." "When I'm fully healed..." For many of us, waiting becomes a way of life. We wait for permission. We wait for certainty. We wait for fear to disappear. We wait for someone else to choose us before we choose ourselves. But what if the life you're longing for isn't waiting for perfect conditions? What if it's waiting for you? In this episode of Cacao Conversations, we're exploring the hidden ways we delay our own growth, happiness, and fulfillment while convincing ourselves we're simply being responsible or realistic. We talk about: waiting for the perfect time waiting for confidence before taking action the myth of being "fully healed" fear disguised as preparation choosing yourself even when you don't feel ready personal responsibility and co-creation why small steps create momentum the power of taking action before certainty arrives At some point, the question isn't whether you're ready. The question is whether you're willing. Because the future you're waiting for may require a decision that can only be made in this moment. New episodes of Cacao Conversations drop weekly. Sip. Parental Rights from the Founding to Present Day

Parental rights have long occupied an important place in American law and political thought. While the Supreme Court today generally recognizes parental rights as fundamental, the constitutional foundations of those rights remain the subject of significant debate. Modern doctrine, reflected in cases such as Meyer v. Nebraska, Pierce v. Society of Sisters, Troxel v. Granville, and more recent disputes involving parental authority over children’s education and upbringing, largely rests on substantive due process—a doctrine that itself remains controversial. This webinar will explore parental rights from their roots in natural law and the political thought of the American Founding through their development in modern constitutional jurisprudence. What did the Founders understand the parent-child relationship to entail, and how did earlier natural-law traditions shape those views? How did parental rights come to be recognized as fundamental within American constitutional law? And looking forward, what is the strongest constitutional foundation for protecting parental rights? Should substantive due process remain the primary vehicle, or are there alternative constitutional grounds that may provide a more secure basis for these protections?Featuring:Michael P. GotMead Live Radio Show

7-28-26 Today we'll be chatting with Clyde and Sarah Hays, owners of Vinland Meads in Murchison, TX. Vinland Meads is a family-owned meadery and artisan kitchen in Murchison, Texas, founded by Clyde and his wife, Sarah,. Although the company was officially formed in 2024 and their public tasting room opened in 2026, Clyde's history with mead began more than twenty years ago. He became interested in mead through his love of Scottish and Northern European history, and he mentioned to his grandfather that he wanted to learn how to make it. Rather than giving him a written recipe, he shared stories about how his own grandfather had made mead in Scotland. Those conversations taught Clyde about honey, patience, craftsmanship, and the importance of allowing the process to take the time it needs. He began experimenting from there, and those lessons still guide every batch he makes today. Vinland Meads first began at Hays Manor, our family farm in East Texas. That is where they incorporated the company, developed their recipes, and operated in production-only mode before moving the winery license and public operation into Murchison. Hays Manor remains an important part of their story. It is home to their apiaries, Scottish Highland cattle, farm animals, and the hawks we work with as licensed falconers. Their own bees provide as much honey as they can, and they supplement that with raw Texas wildflower honey from beekeepers whose apiaries and practices they know personally. The farm taught them many of the values that shape Vinland today, especially patience, stewardship, and respect for where their ingredients come from. Sarah and Clyde are also the parents of seven sons, and Vinland has always been a family story rather than simply a business venture. One of Clyde and Sarah's proudest moments is hearing their sons tell people what their family does and hearing the pride in their voices. Sarah is the majority owner, manager, and creative force behind the business, while Clyde serve as Head Mead Maker and oversee marketing. Sarah's belief in what Clyde was creating is one of the main reasons Vinland exists. Years ago, she brought home their first beehives and joked that Clyde would no longer need to buy honey for his mead. Those hives could never produce the thousands of pounds they now use, but they represented Sarah's belief that Clyde's longtime passion could become something much larger. When they moved into Murchison, they wanted to create more than a traditional tasting room. Vinland Meads now includes an artisan kitchen, which focuses on locally sourced ingredients and food designed to pair with mead, as well as the Rose & Raven Bookshop, curated by Sarah. They also host live music, trivia, educational classes, beekeepers' gatherings, community events, and other experiences that make Vinland feel more like a modern gathering hall than a typical winery. Their goal is to introduce people to mead as a sophisticated and culturally significant beverage, not simply something associated with Vikings or Renaissance festivals. They produce handcrafted meads using Texas honey, locally sourced fruit whenever possible, and a process that generally takes about six months from honey in the tank to mead in the bottle or keg. Every bottle has a story behind it, which is why their tagline is, “Every Bottle a Story. Every Sip a Saga.” Join us to hear more from Sarah and Clyde! This week on Fright Flick FMK, we're watching and reacting to The Bride! — Maggie Gyllenhaal's Gothic monster-romance reimagining of the Bride of Frankenstein story. A lonely Frankenstein travels to 1930s Chicago looking for someone to love. With the help of a scientist, a murdered young woman is brought back to life as the Bride. From there, things spiral into murder, possession, romance, rebellion, and the kind of beautiful monster chaos that feels made for a late-night Fright Flick FMK watch-along. This may not be your usual masked-killer, body-count horror movie, but it is absolutely playing in the horror sandbox: resurrection, obsession, dead bodies, mad science, doomed love, and people making choices that should have come with a warning label. Fright Flick FMK is a horror movie watch-along and reaction show for fans who like their scary movies with attitude, laughs, real reactions, and zero fake polish. We kick back, get elevated, pour a drink, press play, and talk through the chaos in real time. For The Bride!, we're looking at the monster romance, the Gothic style, the performances, the weirdness, the emotional damage, the “is this horror or just deeply unwell romance?” question, and whether this movie earns a spot with the Fright Flick Family. Sip. Smoke. Scream. Rate. Drop your FMK rating for The Bride! in the comments: Are you giving it Marry It, F@#k It, or Kill It?

Have you ever felt lonely in a room full of people? Have you ever looked around at your life and realized you're surrounded by family, friends, coworkers, or community, yet something still feels missing? You're not alone. Many women spend years being the strong one, the helper, the caregiver, the leader, and the person everyone else relies on. They become so skilled at taking care of others that they slowly lose touch with their own need for connection, support, and belonging. In this episode of Cacao Conversations, we're exploring the loneliness that exists beneath the surface of many successful, capable, and deeply caring women. We talk about: why so many women feel disconnected even when they're surrounded by people the burden of always being the strong one the difference between being around people and truly being seen why vulnerability feels so uncomfortable the hidden cost of trying to do everything alone community, belonging, and authentic connection remembering that we were never meant to walk this journey alone What if the answer isn't becoming stronger? What if the answer is allowing yourself to be supported? Because sometimes the deepest healing happens when we stop carrying everything by ourselves and allow ourselves to be seen. New episodes of Cacao Conversations drop weekly. Sip. Connect. Awaken. Hey! Have you ever felt like your mind is completely unprotected against the non-stop cascade of notifications, digital stress, and collective anxiety? Welcome to Day 1 of our master series, The Mental Immune System: Retraining Your Brain's Natural Defenses. Today, we unlock the foundational gateway of your psychological armor by exploring the profound developmental arc of Release. Before you can build new layers of mental resilience, you must first clear out the toxic, high-frequency static that is currently exhausting your cognitive resources. In this introductory session, we explore the groundbreaking science of the "Mental Immune System." We look at the work of evolutionary geneticists and physicians like Dr. Michael Nehls, who reveal how our brains were evolutionarily designed to absorb vital, protective trace minerals—like lithium—straight from our natural groundwater to buffer us against aggression, impulsivity, and despair. We journey back to ancient societies who drank from mineral-dense, living springs, automatically anchoring their brains in an unshakeable state of biochemical safety. Over the course of this series, you will learn how chronic digital overstimulation causes your brain stem to hold onto a tight, defensive bracing pattern that mimics a severe physical illness. Through our featured somatic release protocol, you will learn to consciously unlatch that survival loop, flush accumulated adrenaline, and build an untouchable sanctuary within your own biology. Allow your nervous system return to its true, sovereign baseline.

When you operate at a high level, your mind naturally generates a buzzing cloud of mental static, while your body quietly locks down its creative gates. Tonight, or whenever you press play, we deploy a gentle yet profound somatic circuit breaker—our sacred daily affirmation: "I open to the flow of life around me. My nervous system is safe to let go of control." We look back at how early societies understood that human resilience isn't built on constant striving, but on the ability to fluidly adapt to life's rhythms. We also dive into the cutting-edge science of "tissue memory," mapping how chronic over-functioning forces the body into a defensive, muscular bracing pattern that continuously pumps out cortisol. Step out of the exhausting grid of productivity, claim your inner peace, and let your nervous system return to its true, sovereign baseline.
