Then, in segment two we reflect and provide a short teaser from the interview we recenlty recorded with Colony boys basketball head coach Jerry DeFabiis. We take a look at the upcoming championship finals as we look at the teams playing in the boys basketball divisions in segment three. Finally, we thank all our listeners for their support during the prep sports season as this is the final podcast for the school yers, but we will be back come prep football season.

The Chino Hills boys basketball program recently retired the number 21 jersey during a halftime ceremony. Champion Newspapers sports reporter Josh Thompson call in to talk about the ceremony and the Huskies basketball program that once made national news and produced NBA superstar Lonzo Ball. In segment three we recap the upcoming games, local league standings and Boys Basketball Top 16 Poll.  

In this episode of the Weekly Prep Sports podcast we recap our game of the week from the Baseline league boys varsity basketball game as the first place undefeated Etiwanda Eagles played the second place Los Osos Grizzlies. We look around the Baseline and Palomares League game results and talk about their outcomes. In segment two we spotlight two student athletes from the Diamond Ranch Panthers football team. Both Hunter Clark and Kaleb Gibson work hard in the classroom as well as on the football field.We also analyze and recap in detail the epic First Round game that was our game of the week, Etiwanda vs Diamond Ranch. Cole McCain is a four year starter at the quarterback position at Ayala High School. The Bulldog's quarterback currently holds a grade point average over 4.0 and math is his favorite class. We also add Gilbert Duran of the Ayala Bulldogs football program. Duran is a team leader that also enjoys math as his favorite subject and holds a grade point average of 3.6 and a senior. We welcome both students to the elite roster of the Sportscenetv Scholar Athletes for 2019.Finally, in segment three we recap the CIF-SS Top 10 Prep Football Polls and the upcoming games. We mention our game of the week will be South Hills at Diamond Ranch.
