This episode was a tough one. As you all know, on Sunday January 26, 2020, Kobe Bryant, Gianna (Gigi) Bryant, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Ara Zobayan, Sarah Chester, and Payton Chester all died in a tragic helicopter crash just outside Los Angeles. This episode, Greg and Shay reflect on what Kobe Bryant meant to them, and the world. They talk about how we can all take the "mamba mentality" and utilize it in our daily lives, and also how we can continue Kobe's legacy moving forward from this unspeakable loss. Kobe's death hit a lot of people hard, and many of us don't even know him. But that's just a testament to who he was as a man. We may ask why Kobe? and why his daughter Gigi and those 7 other people? But there is a plan bigger than any of us can understand and all we can do is continue to push forward and keep Kobe's legacy alive and honor him in the best way we can. Of course, our prayers to the Bryant, Altobelli, Mauser, Chester, and Zobayan families as they all cope with this tragedy. Thank you for listening to this special episode dedicated to Kobe and Gigi Bryant. Mamba Forever...

For their first inaugural episode of Stay Tuned, Greg and Darrell had their good friend Corin Brooks (self proclaimed grill master) come into the lab and talk about his journey as an NFL prospect. Corin is an ex NFL player for the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Giants who was ultimately cut from their rosters but hasn't let that define him. He gives listeners insight to his year leading up to the draft, how his draft process played out, what rookie minicamp is like, and also being apart of the same rookie camp as NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes. Corin expands on the differences between being undrafted as opposed to being a player in the top rounds. They dive into the myths of football recruiting, what it takes to get to the next level, and even go a little off topic like how In-N-Out is better than Whataburger. So step into the lab with us, and always remember, stay up...and stay tuned.
