After a more than long enough break, Stir The Soul Podcast is back with another exciting episode of the What Is? Series. This episodes focuses as the culmination of the study of theology and harmartiology, we know God is holy and we know sin is dark and evil, so what can be done with it? If we are indeed gross sinners who have violated the law of God, offended Him and stand condemned, what does the Bible say can be done? As we continue in our series of "What Is?" we explore the dark and sobering subject of Sin. What is Sin? Is sin really that serious? How does God deal with sin? How do people deal with sin? We want to challenge both Christians and non-christians rationally, logically, scientifically, and most importantly, biblically, about abortion and what it really means to God. This is the last episode of the Luke 24:13 - 32 series on the account of the Road to Emmaus with the two disciples, cleopas and an unnamed disciple, encounter the risen Christ who appears to them as a stranger. We reflect on the past episodes and continue the study and conversation of their response after verse 32 in which they go back to tell the apostles and the rest who were with them, the event they had just experienced. We ought to have that same response, to tell everyone of Jesus, of the Bible, of God, of salvation. In closing comments we reintroduce the podcast and discuss what's next!

In this episode we come to the second to last of the Luke 24 series where we finally discuss the chief verse of this passage, the theme of this podcast, verse 32 "Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the scriptures to us?" Why were they encouraged, what were the circumstances surrounding it, what does it mean to be biblically encouraged and challenged, why is the Bible so important? We hope that this episode will begin to answer these vital questions.

In this episode, I interview a brother in Christ who has been battling a life threatening disease his whole life called Cystic Fibrosis. Why does God allow disease, pain, and suffering in the world? How do we respond biblically to life hardest threats and challenges? Is God glorified in suffering? Why can't we just live positive lives, why do we need Christ as our hope. Through Luke's life, God has been teaching him sound wisdom and I am thrilled to share this incredible interview with an encouraging brother who is a living testimony of God's faithfulness in the midst of daily trial.

As we continue our study of Luke 24:13 - 32, we come to the rebukes that Christ gave to the despondent disciples. It may seem counter intuitive, but it leads to the chief reason why the disciples hearts were burning within them, namely the explanation of Christ in the Old Testament. We are continuing the lead up of the Podcast's theme, verse 32, but it is vitally important we address the content of what Christ spoke to the disciples, the purpose of the rebuke, and why it was done while the disciples' eyes were prevented from recognizing Christ.
