As James closes his letter, he once again issues a call to action. Biblical Christianity is not do-nothing; it is do-something. These acts of faith have actual benefits to those who practice them. Real Christianity makes a real impact upon real Christians…the key is for us to intentionally do it. Genesis 1:1-3 For our purposes, within Biblical Christianity, there are three general approaches to understanding the first three verses of Genesis. (I am NOT including less Biblical approaches that discount or disregard what the text says.) The point here is to fairly recognize how otherwise good Christians may approach the text different from one's own tradition or persuasion.

In this episode, Elizabeth Urbanowicz explores the crucial differences between Mormonism and Biblical Christianity, particularly in how both groups use similar language to convey vastly different beliefs. By walking through four key terms—God, Jesus, the Gospel, and Salvation—Elizabeth sheds light on why Christians and Mormons misunderstand each other and how these theological distinctions impact evangelism, discipleship, and Christian homeschooling communities. Whether you're interacting with a Mormon neighbor or navigating questions in your homeschool co-op, this episode equips you to engage in loving, truth-filled conversations grounded in Scripture.

We conclude with the second half of our conversation with Kevin Thompson from Beyond The Fundamentals, discussing the myriad ways that Calvinism as a system of theology is opposed to Biblical Christianity. We touch on Calvinism's origins, from Gnosticism that Augustine combined with Christianity, which later John Calvin popularized, and led to the God-slandering doctrine of demons known as 5 Point Calvinism. Russell Kirk was a twentieth century social critic who back in 1992 said something very important regarding the changes taking place in culture as it slides further and further into secularism, and what needs to take place. Kirk said, “If a culture is to survive and flourish, it must not be severed from the religious vision out of which it arose. The high necessity of reflective man and women, then, is to labor for the restoration of religious teachings as a credible body of doctrine. America as we know it cannot survive without biblical Christianity. The rights we cherish, the freedoms we enjoy, the ideals we all love together – all are rooted in and sustained by the tradition of the Bible. Christianity is the electric current of our national life. Turn it off, and the light will fade.” Parents and youth workers, it begins with all of us studying and knowing the truths of God's Word. Then, we must be committed to teaching and telling the truth to our kids, all the time!

"This short 17 page updated booklet, is a spin-off from Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress". It is an allegory depicting the radical distinction between "the broadness of contemporary Christianity", and "the narrowness of Biblical Christianity". The vast majority of professing Christians have abandoned the Bible's demanding lifestyle of the narrow way, which alone leads to eternal life. A socially fashionable brand of 'easy religion' now masquerades as biblical Christianity."Hawthorne's dream carries him off to Bunyan's 'City of Destruction' where to his surprise, he is told that a RAILROAD has recently been built from the 'City of Destruction' to the 'Celestial City'. Sadly, this railroad never arrives at its promised destination."You will find it helpful to LISTEN to the Audio, as you READ the text here: https://www.gracegems.org/SERMONS2/celestial_railroad.htmProfessionally read by Christopher Glyn(https://www.chrisglyn.net/#)

In this episode, the guys are joined by 5-time PGA Tour winner Jonathan Byrd. After some banter with J Byrd, the guys unpack James 2:1-13. In these verses, James instructs his readers not to show partiality. He then gives a number of reasons why this is incompatible with Biblical Christianity. Showing partiality contradicts God's character, ways, law, and judgment. If we are going to live wholehearted lives like James desires, we must reject partiality as well.
Defining a Biblical Worldview in a Post-Christian Culture. In this episode of the Embracing Brokenness podcast, hosts Steve and Colleen Adams dive deep into the concept of a biblical worldview, exploring its importance and implications in a modern, post-Christian American society. They discuss how only a small percentage of self-identified Christians in the U.S. hold a biblical worldview, according to research by George Barna, and address the concerning trends of increasing secularism, syncretism, and the 'Great Falling Away.' The conversation also touches on the impacts of spiritual and cultural shifts on society, including rising depression, and anxiety. It emphasizes the need to return to the roots of Jesus's teachings. The episode wraps up with the hopeful promise of a new heaven and earth, as described in Revelation 21. A Word From The Lord Our Ministry for Delivering the Lord's Word A Word From The Lord (AWFTL) is Dr. Foley Beach's personal volunteer media teaching ministry. AWFTL has distributed Biblical teachings, from the Lord's Word, for more than twenty years. AWFTL's ministry message is in a Gospel context rooted in Biblical Christianity without an Anglican emphasis. Our ministry objective and focus is to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations . . .” (Matthew 28:19). To this end, we use several content distribution mediums including radio, podcast, audio and video. We invite you to read on for more information about our ministry, but I want to encourage you to contribute by clicking HERE to donate now. You are making a secure donation through our partner the National Christian Foundation -- NCF (or you can mail checks using the information at the end of this overview). Your prayers and financial support keep our ministry in fulfilling Jesus' Great Commission. AWFTL is staffed by a volunteer Executive Director and a volunteer Treasurer. The other staff members are part-time employees. Additionally, AWFTL obtains economic and intellectual leverage through a long-standing cadre of partners (e.g., iHeart Media, Microsoft, PodBean, Salem Media). Our distribution platforms are grouped into broadcast, email, and podcast. Across all platforms, AWFTL makes contacts with sinners by communicating the Lord's Word through partners, on behalf of AWFTL, using AWFTL's media messages (i.e. Dr. Beach's sermons or a One-Minute Messages) directed to the broadcaster's/distributor's targeted markets – our contacts. From the perspective of our distribution partners, AWFTL is considered as an advertiser providing a thirty-minute sermon or a one-minute spot targeted through demographic and behavioral segmentation, using traditional terrestrial radio and targeted direct digital audio. Emails of the Daily Devotional are provided, on a free subscription basis through MailChimp, to over 2,500 recipients daily. Additionally, 2,500 listeners receive full sermon emails on Sunday from Dr. Beach. Podcasts are published daily using the Daily Devotional, and podcasts provide full sermons on Sunday. We use PodBean as our podcast publisher to gain access to eight publishing platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Podbean, Google). AWFTL's premise, through all its distribution platforms and channels, is that the volume of contacts matters to His Kingdom in fulfilling His Great Commission. Therefore, AWFTL depends on Romans 10:17 in that each contact with the Lord's Gospel Word can begin or continue their personal “faith journey” because “faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”. Our Results AWFTL is achieving its mission to share the unchanging Word of God with both believers and nonbelievers. Across all our channels (e.g., radio, podcasting, email, Internet), we now average more than 15 million annual contacts in more than 70 countries at an efficient and effective cost of $0.008/contact. Consider that, every day, our One-Minute Message has the potential of contacting 40,000+ people -- Absolutely amazing! Dr. Beach traveled globally as Archbishop and Chairman of GAFCON (i.e. Global Anglicans representing more than70 Million members), and he met people from all walks of life who often sought him out to tell him how much our Daily Devotionals meant in their lives. For example, one American has developed and leads a global small Zoom group in which one person is assigned to coordinate Zoom discussions each day of a week. They use the Daily Devotional audio and its “Scripture References” as the base for their joint discussions and prayer time with the Lord. This Zoom group has grown to more than thirty participants, from several countries across the globe, with daily time zone scheduling being a challenge! Our Opportunities to Address the “Gospel Gap” About two years ago Archbishop Beach delivered a sermon in Nigeria to the GAFCON Primate leadership addressing the “Gospel Gap” (i.e. people who have never heard the Gospel, have heard the Gospel but are indifferent to its message, or have heard the Gospel and hate God's message and those delivering His message). Most in the Gospel Gap resist exposure to the Gospel by avoiding church attendance and/or hearing traditional faith-based audio/video media. The Gospel Gap constitutes about 38% of US adults today, and the Gap is growing. AWFTL conducted research to identify those who occupy the Gospel Gap and why. Ultimately, we developed five “Life Story” sentences which capture the reason for which people became and/or remain Gap occupants – for example: “I am alone and so confused with no trustable sources for love or the truth and no objects for my love; and the government and churches don't help.”. We believe that AWFTL has a somewhat unique opportunity to leverage our infrastructure, capabilities, and Dr. Beach's more than fifteen years of weekly sermons to extract targeted One-Minute Messages, using AI, to address the Life Stories. To this end, these derived messages, from existing content, can be delivered directly into the Gospel Gap using evolving targeted direct digital audio platforms. Dr. Beach's sermons resonate with the Gospel Gap occupants and their Life Stories. To test our thesis in 2022, we partnered with iHeart Media to target Atlanta demographic segments in the Gospel Gap. During 2022, iHeart Media streamed 6,600+ One-Minute Messages every day for 12 months. Incredibly, 97.4% of the recipients listened to the entire message. iHeart Media told us that a “listening rate” of about 86% would be considered successful in secular targeted digital advertising. Additional levels of initial listener engagement will be provided through AI Natural Language Processing (NLP) Q&A discussions to extend their Gospel message understanding. Please Support A Word From The Lord, Inc. AWFTL is supported by the prayers and contributions of its friends, and AWFTL does not receive financial support from churches or denominations. We need your support for both today's successful baseline ministry and, hopefully, to pursue opportunities for directly addressing the Gospel Gap. Will you help? Now is the time to do it! Please make your secure monthly recurring donation, for one year, through our partner, the National Christian Foundation (NCF). It's Monday, September 9th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pastor: Christianity and Aboriginal smoking ceremony can't mix Pastor Dave Pellowe is in hot water in Australia. After refusing to have an Indigenous Aboriginal smoking ceremony of welcome as part of his Christian conference, the Queensland Human Rights Commission demanded an explanation, reports International Christian Concern. The welcome ceremony, or smoking ritual, involves smoldering native plants to produce herbal smoke which, according to the Aboriginal people, will ward off evil spirits. It's a practice that is clearly antithetical to Biblical Christianity. However, this Indigenous Aboriginal smoking ceremony is now commonplace in Australian sports events, government events, and public meetings. To his credit, Pastor Pellowe replaced the unbiblical tradition with the reading of Psalm 24. The first four verses affirm God as Creator to whom man is accountable. It says, “The Earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for He founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.” Pastor Pellowe declared that these Aboriginal ceremonies conflicted with his Christian beliefs, saying, “You can't mix Christianity, a true religion, with something that is made up. These are religious rituals which Christians, in particular, should have no part of.” An attendee at his Christian conference foolishly complained to the Queensland Human Rights Commission and is now threatening legal action. New York judge delayed Trump sentencing until after election Last Friday, a New York judge delayed former President Donald Trump's sentencing on the hush money verdict until November 26, a ruling that ensures Trump will not face any criminal punishment until after the election, reports NewsNationNow.com. Judge Juan Merchan, who oversaw the seven-week trial, was set to sentence Trump on September 18. He emphasized that by pushing back the sentencing, it would ensure that the presidential election in November is not affected by his judgment, and vice versa. J.D. Vance: Kamala is “a chameleon” Appearing on CNN with Dana Bash, Trump' running mate, J.D. Vance, was critical of Vice President Kamala Harris for changing many of her positions to become more palatable to the American voters now that she is the Democratic presidential candidate. VANCE: “She's a chameleon. She pretends to be one thing in front of one audience. She pretends to be something different in front of another audience. “Look, Dana, she's not running a political campaign. She's running a movie. She only speaks to voters behind a teleprompter. Everything is scripted. She doesn't have her policy positions out there. She hasn't answered why she wanted to ban fracking, but now she doesn't. She wanted to fund police, but now she does it. She wanted to open the border, but now she doesn't. “She should have to answer for why she presents a different set of policies to one audience and a different set of policies to another audience.” Father of Georgia teen gunman arrested Last Thursday, 54-year-old Colin Gray, the father of Colt Gray the 14-year-old Georgia gunman who killed two fellow students and two teachers as well as injuring 8 others, was arrested, reports ABC News. GBI Director Chris Hosey said the father is accused of "knowingly allowing his son, Colt, to possess a weapon." Specifically, investigators believe that the son received the AR-style gun, used in the shooting, as a Christmas present from his father. The father was charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty to children. Tennessee principal in hot water for praying A Tennessee school district has outlawed prayer on school property. The principal at Broadview Elementary School, in Winchester, came under fire after she concluded a meeting with parents, teachers and students by mentioning God's name. She said this to God. “We pray to You, Father in Heaven, for Your wonderful blessings and we ask those things in God's name. Amen.” Someone in the meeting secretly taped the prayer and sent a copy to the Freedom From Religion Foundation based in Wisconsin. The anti-Christian group of atheists then sent a letter of complaint, dated August 29th, to the school director Cary Holman. The atheists allege that federal law bans any government official from delivering a prayer. They argued the district should be neutral with regard to religion. The school district conducted an investigation and ordered the principal to no longer offer prayers. In an email to the God-hating group, Holman wrote, “Based on the recording, the principal acknowledged it was her voice. … I provided the Tennessee Code referencing prayer in schools. The principal understands what is expected and will lead accordingly moving forward.” Christian talk show host Todd Starnes said, “It's apparently open season on people of faith in America.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17, says, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Tucker Carlson asked Russell Brand to pray And finally, Tucker Carlson interviewed Russell Brand, the British comedian, actor, and talk show host who professed faith in Christ in May of this year followed by a public baptism. At the end of the interview, Tucker asked a simple question. CARLSON: “Would you close in prayer?” Initially surprised, Russell Brand knelt down in front of the chair where he had been sitting, and prayed this prayer. BRAND: “I call on the name of Lord Jesus, Christ, our heavenly Savior. I pray in Your name that the forthcoming election be an opportunity for unity for America and for Americans, for forgiveness and for grace, that the dark and demonic forces that appear to operate at the level of the state, the Deep Dtate and the corporate and global world, experience your light, Lord. “Thank You for the glory of consciousness itself in which we can experience You and live You. Thank you for the beauty of nature in which we see Your wisdom and Your creativity and Your infinite glory. “Thank you Lord that You were born and died, that we may be forgiven and that we may have eternal life, not through merit or anything that we have individually achieved. For surely, all of us are fallen, but in Your holy name, we are forgiven by your act of redemption, by Your sacrifice. In Your name we pray, Amen.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, September 9th, in the year of our Lord 2024. Have we become so focused on what we enjoy that we've lost sight of what we're called to do? In this sermon, we'll dig into how easy it is for churches to turn inward, focusing more on personal preferences than on our true mission: serving others. “Not About Me” challenges us to shift our focus from ourselves to those around us, just as Jesus did. We'll explore what it means to live for others and why that's the heart of our Biblical Christianity. This message is a wake-up call to realign our lives and our churches with God's purpose. Join us to rediscover the joy of living for others and be inspired to make a difference in our community. For the past 7 years, we've been showing you the myriad qualifications that French president Emmanuel Macron seems to possess in relation to the possibility of him being, or becoming, the biblical man of sin. To date, our Emmanuel Macron archives are filled to overflowing with evidence we've gathered to support that claim. But on last Friday evening, Macron stepped up his game so much that now the entire world got the chance to see the works of his father, the Devil. It's not a secret any longer. On this episode of the NTEB Prophecy News Podcast, we show you the dark and demonic aspects of the XXXIII Olympic Games currently taking place in Paris right now. The International Olympic Committee has issued an apology that is one of the most-insincere ‘apologies' it's possible for a human being to make. The funny thing is, though, these highly-offensive things that took place were not things related to satanism in general, in the abstract, not by a long shot. The things which Emmanuel Macron ordered, had built and launched, were precision attacks on biblical Christianity, Jesus Christ and the Bible. It was the spiritual equivalent of Adolf Hitler invading Poland to formally start WWII. On this episode, we present to you our candidate for the biblical man of sin, Emmanuel Macron, and what that means regarding the end times prophetic timeline. Also, we bring you the coming regional war between Israel and Lebanon that just may break out in real-time during this live Podcast. The front lines of the end times is on fire today, and we bring it all to you in glorious Last Days technicolor!

Can Kabbalistic mysticism and New Age ideas secretly infiltrate modern Christianity? Join us for a thought-provoking conversation with Deanne Loper, the author of "Kabbalah Secrets Christians Need to Know," as she uncovers her journey from the clutches of the occult to a transformative born-again Christian experience. Alongside Tony and Joni Stahl, we peel back the layers of how influential figures like Helena Blavatsky and Alice Bailey have subtly embedded esoteric doctrines into Christian teachings. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the controversial Noahide laws and the importance of vigilance in discerning truth from deception. We live in a time when false teachings are infiltrating Christian Theology at a rapid rate. This important book exposes one of the greatest threats to pure Biblical Christianity. Deanne uncovers the deception by giving a detailed description of what Kabbalah is and equips believers to recognize it in its morphed form of Christianity. The evidence shows that the god of today's Babylonian and kabbalistic Judaism is NOT the God of the Bible and that the current convergence of Christians coming under rabbinic authority will bring them not to the one true God of the Bible but to the subservience of the god of Kabbalah – Ein Sof – and to its hierarchy of gods.DeAnne's book: https://www.amazon.com/Kabbalah-Secrets-Christians-Need-Know/dp/1095680005In our exploration, we tackle the intriguing connections between Kabbalistic prophecies and biblical prophecies, delving into texts like Daniel, Ezekiel, and Isaiah. We shed light on historical false messiahs such as Simon Bar Kokhba and Shabbatai Zevi and their impact on Jewish history, all while examining a specific prophecy from the Zohar. Get ready to challenge your perceptions as we discuss how these mystical traditions align with Freemasonry's complex cosmology, the symbolism of the six-pointed star, and the profound implications of the Sephirot tree. Our discussion doesn't stop there. We probe into the troubling blend of Kabbalistic mysticism with contemporary Christian movements, spotlighting notable figures like Jonathan Cahn and the influence of books like "The Return of the Kosher Pig." By tracing these occult teachings' subtle presence in mainstream Christianity, we stress the need for a rigorous return to biblical study and discernment. In this episode, Bryan, Bo and KD talk through the second and third Articles of Faith. Find the official LDS Article of Faith at their website here. What Mormons Believe about Sin:LDS:“We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.”At first glance this seems much more fair than the Christian take. But as we dig deeper we see that this LDS concept creates a pattern of judgment and works based behavior/religion AC: We believe God created mankind in His own image. At the beginning of human history, however, man chose to disobey the sovereign God and so brought sin onto the earth. All people everywhere have since been born into this sinful nature and are subject to God's righteous judgment: death and eternal separation from Himself. (Gen. 1:26; Gen. 3; Rom. 3:23; 6:23; Jer. 17:9; John 3:18; Eph. 2:1-3).What Mormons Believe about Salvation:LDS:“We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.”AC: We believe God's plan from the beginning of time was to be in relationship with all people. Since sin makes that relationship impossible for everyone, God established a way to credit righteousness. He accepts Jesus Christ's death on the cross as a payment for the sin of humanity. Those who repent of their sin and believe in God's work are forgiven and restored to relationship with God. This is salvation, and it is God's work from beginning to end, so that we are saved purely by grace. Author and Pastor Zachary Garris talks about the problem of the feminization of the Evangelical Church and the need to recover the masculine nature of Biblical Christianity. We discuss some compromises of Complementarianism, how feminism crept into the church and how God's design for the sexes extends beyond just the home and church. Complementarianism, which started off as a movement with good intentions to preserve the distinction of gender roles in response to Evangelical Feminism in the 1980s fell short in many ways of the older, more Biblical understanding of Patriarchy. We also tease out some of the related problems with Radical Two Kingdoms Theology (R2K) and how it may be symptomatic or a contributing cause of the feminization of the church. Lastly, we touch on some issues of cultural engagement and political theory. Buy the book -

Biblical Christianity is more than just another private religious view. It's more than just a personal relationship with God or a source of moral teaching. Christianity is a picture of reality. It explains why the world is the way it is. When the pieces of this puzzle are properly assembled, we see the big picture clearly. Christianity is a true story of how the world began, why the world is the way it is, what role humans play in the drama, and how all the plotlines of the story are resolved in the end. Today, our guest will explain the five words that form the narrative backbone of the Christian story, identifying how "God," "man," "Jesus," "cross," and "resurrection" encompass the message of the Bible from start to finish.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

For the better part of 2,000 years the question of who gets to interpret scripture has been the key challenge to the church. The answer to questions of faith, doctrine, and praxis often depend on the interpretation (and application) of a particular text or passage of scripture and have historically resulted in fierce disagreement. In the face of this uncertainty a variety of new institutions and movements, often cults, have sprung up in the last several hundred years claiming divine authority to interpret scripture, either by virtue of a supposedly restored Apostolic succession or some form of continuity with the early church. The Mormon church claims their “quorum of the twelve apostles” is the restored priesthood of Christ on earth. Jehovah's witnesses assert that 1st-century Biblical Christianity was restored through the New World Translation of the Bible and the Watchtower and Tract Society in Philadelphia. And in recent years in the West an old authority is seeing renewed interest and conversions: the Eastern Orthodox Church, which claims to be the one true Church and to alone possess the authority to interpret scripture. But does their claim of direct continuity with Apostolic and early church practice hold up to scrutiny? Tune in now as we discuss. Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we kicked off a theme based on Karl's recent trip to India. We also discussed the use of technology in missions and what makes a good, winning team. Technology has ushered in the ability to close the gap in this world and advance the Gospel even more. Biblical Christianity is a team sport, so what does a winning team of Christians look like? Karl shared an article called, "10 Characteristics of Movemental Christianity". Our guest was Dr. Samuel Naaman who is Professor of Intercultural Studies at Moody Bible Institute. He is also VP of Call of Hope and shared how technology has made a huge difference in mission work and connections. You can hear the highlights of the program on today's showcast. Bonjour, and welcome to Gospel Spice! I'm your host, Stephanie Rousselle, and today I am inviting you into my personal story of coming to faith from intellectual atheism. Through my story, I invite you to see how God can redeem past regrets and use our unique characteristics and experiences to offer guidance to others. Join me on this highly personal episode as we navigate the importance of language, cultural influences, and the significance of surrendering to God's call. So, grab your favorite cup of coffee (or tea! Or anything hot!). I hope you will be inspired by God's kindness and grace, and how His tender fatherliness is the key to unshakable faith. Welcome to Gospel Spice! MORE DETAILS ABOUT THIS UNUSUAL EPISODE Much to my surprise, I discovered that being a Christian doesn't require checking one's brains at the door. Instead, we are called to engage in deep conversations, rooted in love, and grow in our understanding of God. God promises to redeem past regrets so that we can eventually share our experiences with others. Our unique minds and personalities, with our individual interests, dislikes, and stressors, combine to make us who we are. God has intentionally hand-woven each one of us, creating us with purpose and value. My God-given journey from intellectual atheism to Biblical Christianity is a powerful testament to His transformative power—much in spite of me! Having lived in multiple countries and immersed myself in different cultures and languages, God allowed me to gain a deep understanding of faith. And now, my goal is to be that spice of the gospel to the world around us, transforming lives through the love and truth of the gospel. I encourage you to listen to reflect on your own journey of redemption. Have you experienced moments of doubt, arrogance, or a thirst for knowledge? Can you relate to feeling broken on the inside, despite appearing confident on the outside? If so, I humbly hope that my story will inspire you to seek God's approval alone and embrace His transforming love. My story isn't about me, it is about Him at the deepest levels. Thank you for being a part of the Gospel Spice community. Our mission is to point people to Jesus and draw them deeper into Him. We invite you to join us in embodying the Gospel and becoming an irresistible spice that attracts others to the good news. Our hope is that through our personal stories and experiences, you will find a unique flavor that resonates with you. Let's journey together and spice up the world with the fragrance of the Gospel! Go to gospelspice.com for more, and go especially to gospelspice.com/podcast to enjoy our guests! Interested in our blog? Click here: gospelspice.com/blog Bonjour! Gospel Spice exists to inspire our generation to delight in God. We do this through the podcast, online Bible studies, leadership trainings, and more. We want to serve Christ-followers who seek to live a life spiced with the gospel. We want to love God, because He first loved us. We want to experience the fullness of life with Him—and not be content with stale, boring, leftover faith. Jesus tells us that the most important thing is to love the Lord our God, so we take Him seriously. He adds that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. Now, there are many ways to do that, but I have always personally felt deep compassion for victims of human trafficking – it is modern day slavery, and it revolts the heart of God. And so, they are our particular neighbors here at Gospel Spice. We want to play our part in raising awareness and then financially supporting those who fight this great evil. Now we would love to invite you to join the team in one of three ways: 1, pray Gospel Spice forward – pray for our guests, our listeners and participants, and for us too! 2, play Gospel Spice forward by telling your friends about us, and by please leaving positive reviews and comments on your podcast listening app; and 3rd, PAY GospelSpice forward. Less than 1% of our listeners are supporting us financially. We need your help! Please pay Gospel Spice forward today. It can be a one-time donation, or a monthly one, for the amount of your choice. Your donation is fully tax-deductible in the US. Plus, once we cover our costs, a significant portion of your donation will be given back to Christian organizations that fight human trafficking, and that we vet thoroughly. So, you can know that every dime you give is used for the Kingdom of God. Every little bit helps. So, be part of the spice of the gospel by becoming a financial partner today! What matters to us here at Gospel Spice is to create a place where people who seek deeper intimacy with Jesus, will find Him. We want a warm, welcoming atmosphere to journey ever deeper into the heart of God. We believe it is the ultimate calling of the Christian life, and I like to summarize it with my motto, God's glory, our delight. That is why we invite you to “taste and see” that the Lord is good. And we have been doing this every day since 2019. We need YOU to keep Gospel Spice alive and growing. Financially speaking, we rely on people who understand this vision and who understand that we cannot function without a minimum budget. We run an extremely tight budget. For example, I work full time but don't draw a salary. And yet, we have expenses – for example, the equipment and technology we use, and also the wonderfully gifted staff who make it possible to deliver high quality content all around the globe, and then the necessary occasional promotional budget to make it possible to be discovered by those who seek to live a life spiced with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We need your help. So we would love for you to consider if this ministry is blessing you to pay gospel spice forward. You can partner with us monthly with 10, 25, 50, 100, a month, or you can make one donation, once. And because we are a register nonprofit organization in the United States under the status of a 501c3 charity, it means that the amount that you pay to gospel spice is fully tax deductible. Completely tax deductible. So you're even saving money as you invest in gospel spice ministries. It is an eternal investment, and we are very grateful to you for it. Now it's very important to us that we give back as much as possible from what you give us. And so we commit to giving the majority of what we receive, once all of our administrative costs are paid, to organizations that fight human trafficking on the front line. There are many worthwhile causes in the world, so why this one? Because I have always personally felt deep compassion for victims of human trafficking – maybe because I have never been its victim myself, so I feel a responsibility to help those less fortunate than me. Also, because Jesus tells us to love our neighbor. Human trafficking is modern day slavery, and that is something that revolts the heart of God. We want to play our part in raising awareness and then financially supporting those who fight this great evil. So, we do some due diligence. We pick organizations who have proven themselves trustworthy of our support. And then we give money to these Christians organizations that fight human trafficking. So would you consider paying us forward at gospelspice.com/payitforward? Your hard-earned money is always well used at Gospel Spice. Ultimately, you are giving back to the Kingdom, a portion of what Jesus has given you. We are well aware of the privilege to steward your partnership. And my prayer is always that you will find your own life spiced with the gospel as you partner with us to flavor the lives of those around us, near and far, with the spice of the gospel. Support us on Other, PayPal and Other!

Mark 12:34 — In this sermon on Mark 12:34 titled “Not Far From the Kingdom,” Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones discusses the matter of the kingdom of God. No one suffered in this world like the Son of God. Biblical Christianity is not vague or indefinite. Either one is in the kingdom of God or they are not. Everyone will have to come to stand before God alone — it is a very straight gate by which one can enter. Learn how far one can travel and yet not be in the kingdom. Though there are various positions occupied by those outside the kingdom, they have no advantage over one another. Many people think that Christians are merely ignorant and unintelligent, but this is not true. Learn the true mark of intelligence. God cannot be bought by good deeds or sacrifices; the mere external acts of religion do not please God. Learn of the essential demand of God's law. One cannot simply be intellectually interested in religion – religion must move from theoretical to practical, or else there is great danger. The law of God is not here to be applauded, but to be applied. “Believe and be ye saved.”
