Bringing a ton of determination, character and leadership Cam Critchlow returns for his 2nd season with the Manchester Storm! One of Coach Finnertys go to players Cricthlow proved throughout the season to be a team first guy developing a habit of coming up with an important goal, defensive play or assist when the team needed it most. Hungry for more, Crirtchlow will be leaned on even more this upcoming season and alongside fellow returnees will be expected to form a strong spine to this years roster. Welcome back Cam!
Ryan Finnerty gives a further update on the situation at Manchester Storm, ST planning, a look back over the past season, thoughts about the EIHL "Magic Weekend" and explains just how difficult it is to plan for the next season with the current COVID-19 pandemic.
With the early shutdown to the EIHL due to the COVID-19 pandemic still fresh, many questions regarding the club, league and life moving forwards remain unclear. To try and answer some of those questions regarding the Storm, GM and Head Coach Ryan Finnerty explains how the closure came about, how training was cut short during the announcement, how the club has been inundated with messages of support and what exactly is happening to return players safely home. Plus we chat about whats needed for the club to start building towards next season from a strong position both on and off the ice.

A player the Storm looked at over the summer months was Cam Braes, several months later Finner has got his man. We also look back on an weekend which left the Storm coach highly displeased before turning our attentions to this weekends games against playoff rivals Glasgow Clan and Fife Flyers. Coach Finner has once again moved to sign reinforcements as the playoff push continues for the Manchester Storm!! Its fair to say Mario Puskarich has enjoyed a roller coaster of emotions recently. At one point it appeared the #37 had played his last game with the Storm, 24hrs later the club had performed a u turn re-signing the Floridan sniper. That faith has been repaid with several stellar performances in the Storm jersey. A goal and 4 assists this past weekend brought his tally up to 9 goals and 9 assists this season.

Layne Ulmer has no intention of hanging up the skates just yet! He's excited for a new city, a new challenge and is looking to install a winning mentality in this years Storm locker room. Averaging close to a point per game in his +180 EIHL games, #BigGameLayne will be a big player for Ryan Finnerty and the Storm this year!
Drafted by the Calgary Flames, over 250 games in the AHL and an Uncle (Kevin Hoffman) who played for the Storm between 1997-2000! Meet John Negrin! A big signing for the Manchester Storm. Negrin will bring experience, skill, calmness, leadership plus his love of music to Manchester this year.

Cameron Critchlow joins the Manchester Storm after two successful season icing with the Jacksonville IceMen of the ECHL. Critchlow is renown for his enthusiasm and leadership skills having Captained current NHL stars Nathan Mackinnon and Jonathan Drouin,

A new contract, a new house, a new fiance, a new country! Kyle Hope doesn't do thing by half measures on or off the ice! Hope joins the Storm on the back of a successful University career with the Windsor Lancers and has spent time icing in the AHL and ECHL. Immediately after a disappointing 2018/19 season drew to an end, Coach Finner already had plans for the 2019/20 roster. Part of those plans was to have a 4th line of young Brits. To bring enthusiasm and energy. With the signing of Jacob Lutwyche the plan has been put into action! Lutwyche joins Ulrick and Barnes on what could be a trio to help form the Storms core for seasons to come. For now its a learning and growing process, one which all three will help push each other to new levels.

After a stop/start role with the Manchester Storm in 2018/19, Adam Long is looking forward joining back up with with the Storm full-time! Adam Hughesman joins the Manchester Storm after a productive ECHL career followed by successful periods in Italy, Czech Republic and most recently Bordeaux, France. During this interview with Storm TV, Adam tells us how icing with former Calgary Flame, New York Ranger and Pittsburgh Penguin Tanner Glass will only help when it comes to taking on a more senior role within the Storm locker room.
The offensively talented Hughesman joins the storm following two years in Bordeaux France. Previous teams include the Las Vegas Wranglers and the Reading Royals in the ECHL. Look for Hughesman to help add some offensive spark this season.
Joining Storm on the back of a promising university career, which then lead to a late season call from the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL. The 6.1ft forward made an immediate impact in their push to make the playoffs and during their postseason. His impressive performances with the Komets attracted several suitors across the EIHL and Coach Finner is "delighted to get this one across the line" after several weeks of negotiations. We all have high "Hope" for this Ontario native.
