Amanda Webster story: In October 2018, I almost lost my life to suicide. I felt a pain that I could no longer bear to carry. I felt like it was what was best for my young son, my partner and my friends. I'd battled depression, self-harm, addiction and suicidal tendencies since my youth the Shadow goal in my head finally HAD grown louder than my rational thoughts. I'd been Diagnosed Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and have Having a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) over a decade prior. I'd tried therapy, meds, Yoga, self-help books, exercise, nutrition changes, herbs, you name it. Nothing worked. Helped Nothing. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

events certainly do effect me to this day. Not only do I suffer from panic disorder, which I have alluded to earlier, but I also have post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and borderline personality disorder (BPD). diagnosed with borderline personality disorder many years ago. There is actually no know cause for BPD, but it is believed to be triggered by a traumatic upbringing. Genetics, certainly can play a factor as well. There is nine criteria for BPD. Of course, you need a mental health professional to make an official diagnosis. You must show at least five of the symptoms and they must be long-standing and impact many areas of your life. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
