Vellore/வேலூர் has a rich history with the Pallavas, Cholas, Nayaks, Marathas, Arcot Nawabs and Bijapur Sultan Kingdoms. Now a busy city in Tamilnadu, Vellore was once the capital city of the Vijayanagar Empire during 1606-1672. This new series on the history of Vellore revolves around it's rich heritage right from it's early history to the later British rule period. In this episode, Naveen speaks with Dr. Saravanan, Curator of Vellore Govt. Museum who shares with us  his wide knowledge on the history.
