Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Release Date & Cryptic Photo, DCU Batman Casting Wars, AI Actress INSANE Controversy — Greg Alba & Coy Jandreau go LIVE to break down the latest Marvel & DC news! The Russo Brothers just shared a mysterious “Look Hard…” photo from the Avengers: Doomsday (2026) set, teasing fans with hidden details while a major leak from SFX artist Gi Ponci revealed new suits for the X-Men (Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Gambit), Fantastic Four (Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm), Namor, Thor, Silver Surfer, and even Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. On top of that, reports say the Avengers: Doomsday trailer is coming this December, and Channing Tatum is hyping it up as the wildest Marvel movie yet — bigger than Blade's Deadpool & Wolverine cameo! Plus, Ryan Reynolds is reportedly developing his own mutants team-up movie for the MCU's next saga. Meanwhile in the DCU, everyone wants to be Batman — but who has actually gone on record? We'll run down the names fans are buzzing about, while James Gunn teased two unannounced movie scripts, one mystery TV project, and updates on Supergirl. In Marvel TV, Daredevil: Born Again writer Jesse Wigutow revealed a scrapped “bottle episode” pairing Punisher & Echo — would that have worked? Over on Max, Peacemaker Season 2 keeps building toward Superman: Man of Tomorrow and Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor, while fans still debate the AI actress Tilly Norwood controversy. And for other wild news: Universal is developing The Mummy 4 with hopes for Brendan Fraser's return (but will audiences embrace it or reject another “old man sequel”?), and Lionsgate is scripting a Samurai Western spin-off in the John Wick Universe. Should Wick expand or bow out gracefully? We're covering it all tonight. Join the Reject Nation as we react, speculate, and debate across the MCU, DCU, and beyond — from Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man: Brand New Day to Gunn's DC plans, The Mummy 4, John Wick, and the future of comic book movies! As spring comes to an end, a construction worker rushes to put the final touches on his work when he discovers something strange amidst the tailings of his dozer - a carved stick, possibly a form of ancient totem from the days of the early settlers, or even older. The announcement of his extraordinary discovery would be the last thing anyone hears from him. In the following week, a group of makeshift employees would step off a bus at the newly developed Camp Roanoke to prepare for the upcoming season, where campers would arrive with dreams of kayaking and fireside stories, but until then, our team of preppers will experience a story that quickly becomes a nightmare as they too discover the strange powers embodied in the ancient totem. The question remains, will they live to tell the tale? Join us for our annual 2025 Monster of the Week One-Shot as we enhance your Halloween season with a tale of fear and terror! Our players, along with the other short-term employees of Camp Roanoke, step off the bus and head out to begin work setting up the camp for the upcoming summer season. As they put the finishing touches together, they decide to celebrate with some classic spooky stories around the campfire. Little do they know that a strange magic is at work and they're about to be met with three terrors the likes of which the world has never seen. Will they be able to survive the night and break the curse? Or will they be overcome by the Terror at Camp Roanoke? Arthur and Steve step into the fog drenched halls of Laurel's House of Horror to face off with McKenzie, a makeup artist and actress whose work embodies terror itself. She reveals how she first entered the haunt world, what inspired her to master SFX makeup, and the dedication it takes to bring nightmarish characters to life. From the chaos of show nights to the meaning she finds in haunting, McKenzie pulls back the curtain on the artistry that makes Laurel's one of Maryland's most unforgettable attractions.
Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!This week Pip is joined by the bold and awesome director JUSTIN TIPPING!Maybe here and there you've heard rumblings not unlike the ones Pip cites up top on the intro, but in a time when creativity can even be treated and regarded as a rebellious and awesomely unique act, you can also take said rumblings with a pinch of salt and just engage in some powerful cinematic moments. This could be the suggested move with Him, Justin's new movie made with Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions, which sounds like a very beautiful piece of thrilling sport-centred action.Expect to hear Justin touch on such menu items as being cautious of dropping the ball (pun intended) with Monkeypaw, the consideration of budgets, how different the reception is to his other projects and the undertones within some of those (many lines in which to read between...), the importance of visual style, lookbooks, intesive training for everyone's sake (including SFX), and working with comic actors. So much in not a huge amount of time. A wonderful chat - forget the noise out there, just jump in for heck's sake. Quiet is the word of the day at The Odditorium, a curio shop of Oddities, rare trinkets, and some enchanted items. Not much is happening in the world of the arcane. Kinda just an average day. It makes sense; the arcane leylines had been off a bit for the past week, so there's not much interest in investing in the odd curiosities of the world. But Poppy, the owner and founder of “The Odditorium”, doesn't notice or also seem to care. She's happy and content in her backroom, working as usual while several Homunculus Servants tend to the store. Hi friends, happy Tuesday! Sarah Boone and Jorge Torres Jr. had a history of violent fights, but when Jorge was found dead inside a suitcase, Sarah had a bizarre excuse: hide and seek gone wrong. WTF?! At first, she claimed it was a tragic accident—until police found videos of her laughing and taunting Jorge as he begged for air. Let's unpack the disturbing case of Sarah Boone—the woman who thought she could lie her way out of a murder caught on tape. Also, let me know who you want me to talk about next time. The Apocalypse Players — a Call of Cthulhu actual play podcast
In which our investigators scatter secrets, sweets & sympathies, give the last rites, & attend job interviews from Hell... A Call of Cthulhu scenario by Danann McAleer. Episodes released weekly. Cast: Dr. Henry Carraig-Muire - Joseph Chance Rev. The Apocalypse Players is an actual play (or live play) TTRPG podcast focused on horror tabletop roleplaying games. Think Dimension 20 or Critical Role, but fewer dragons, more eldritch horrors, and more British actors taking their roleplaying very seriously (most of the time). This is the final week of our two-week summer break, where we recharge our puzzle batteries. But we won't leave you empty handed - here's a director's cut edition of a classic episode with new editing, music, SFX and commentary. This episode initially aired a little later than normal due to some technical gremlins, which meant it didn't get a fair shake before the following week's episode came in and pushed it out of the feed (people love that fresh content, yo). And it's a particularly fiendish puzzle from Mike that also uses a hefty amount of learning theory. Mike pulled a sneaky on us and had us doing a team building exercise (le gasp!). The original recording was 2 hours long. So as a special treat, here's a re-edited version along with the puzzle debrief and additional commentary from me (Jamie). Grab a glass of warm urine and join us as we attempt to escape the desert with a surprisingly Northern sounding Bear Grylls. Will we select the correct five items to enable our escape? And what's with that Morse Code, anyway? Special thanks to Patreon supporters Rachel, Howlfin and Will for making this episode possible. Puzzle Maestro: Mike Collins Solvers: Jon Saunders, Jamie Gibbs, Dom Jordan, Annekos Editor: Jamie Gibbs If you want to listen to the original episodes, you can find them here: Puzzle episode Pubisode All links to our social media profiles and our Patreon programme over at https://linktr.ee/theinfiniteescaperoom The Infinite Escape Room is a comedy escape room podcast where a group of friends make and solve audio escape rooms for one another. It's one part tabletop RPG, one part escape room with a bit of Monkey Island humour sprinkled over the top.
