TJ hasn't seen Kung Fu Hustle, but Larry has it on Teh Googles, cats with cabin fever, Mingo's giant hairball, we have a very cool new fridge and Larry loves the meat drawer, Larry still loves Fortnight, we loved The Shape of Water and thought the newest Star Wars movie was good (not great), lamentations about laptops vs tablets, TJ's been binge-watching some TV, bad theatre that TJ is not in, Café Columbia can kiss our butts, and Mingo is chiming in the background.

Larry and TJ cocooned for the holidays, Larry's birthday is coming up, a little quilt talk (OK, kind of a lot of quilt talk), novel writing and the travails that come withal, happy talk of seeing Eraserhead at Radar Station and making a creepy baby puppet, and Larry loves the video game Fortnight.  Thank you for your patience in between episodes!!

We really needed to rave about our visit to Chicago last May, so here is that rave!  And then we whined about how smoky it's been in Nowhere.  TJ is still working on getting theatre memorabilia up in frames, and Larry has discovered a new love for No Man's Sky and The Secret World (Legends). The first appearance of the Brain Dead Podcast on a Pride 48 Weekend, and the intro is RUINED!  RUINED, I tell you!  ROONT!!!!  We fixed it about a minute into the show, and we learned a valuable lesson about having too many windows open at once when live podcasting.  We talk about a ton of stuff, and somehow managed to coherently fill an hour.  Sad to say, this is our first show of 2017.  We'll try to do better . . . but don't hold your breath.

TJ talks a lot on this episode, and Larry tries to get a word in edgewise, even though his news is the most interesting bit. A potentially tragic occurrence has a benign outcome. Larry has found a new use for quilting leftovers, and TJ is back from visiting her Mom (hence the decompression). The cats loved their time alone with Larry, and he's still a great roommate! We saw Deadpool, and Larry saw Batman vs Superman. We are excited about new virtual reality stuff for the PS4 (or will it be the PS4.5?). The pros and cons of dogs and White Castle recipes are discussed. There are some clipped off words in this episode, as TJ is still learning to be an audio engineer by trial and error, mostly error. We are back after the holidays, and a million other hardships that got in the way of recording. TJ was in a show, Larry did a quilt or three, and we have a weird neighbor in our condo building. Larry needs a Kickstarter to fund his quilting obsession, and he found a way into the loot vault in Diablo III. And! We both feel we successfully completed NaNoWriMo!
