If you're trying to interpret a dream, pay attention to the context. Many elements can be positive or negative, and the context will often give you a “feel” for which it is. This, in turn, can help you discern what God is saying.

God speaks in dreams all the time—to those who know Him and those who don't. Some of us have no idea that God is speaking to us in the night. As we learn to pay attention, we'll find life.  

Not everything you see in your dream is about you. Sometimes God will show you what's happening—or will happen—with other people.

God speaks in YOUR language in your dreams so you can understand Him more easily. You don't dream certain things just because your brain is processing—He's probably trying to communicate with you.
