Think about the old Hotel Hamilton – which is now the Mulberry Street Coffeehouse…the Armoury…the Art Crawl…that’s right, it’s time to take a walk down James Street North with The Tale of a Town's newest podcast. There are many main streets to walk down in Hamilton, and over the next three years, our Storymobile will be visiting as many of them as possible. Did you ever hang out at Fast Eddie’s downtown? Have you strolled through Walkerville on your way to Kildare House? Or maybe you recall a first date at the Dominion House… When we parked our Storymobile at the foot of Ouellette right beside the Detroit River, we heard stories from Windsorites about everything from downtown’s grit and Sandwichtown’s history to the walkability of Walkerville – and learned that there is so much more to the City of Roses than a terrific view of the Detroit Skyline! Come take a walk down main street in Prince Edward County, Ontario. From the old days of the canning industry, to the present-day tourism boom, Prince Edward County is changing rapidly! We brought our Storymobile to the main streets of Wellington, Bloomfield, and Picton to gather stories from all along the Loyalist Parkway. The people of the county share stories about everything from the Wellington Grill to Angeline's to the Regent Theatre -- and plenty in between!
