On this episode, I welcome two outstanding guests who know what it takes to compete, teach, and win at the very highest levels of the game. First up is our resident Director of Instruction, Tom Patri. We open up getting you some putting tips starting with the fundamentals like grip, set up, stance, ball position, and shaft lean. Staying with putting, we get into what's missing from Jordan Spieth's putting stroke that helped him rise to World No. 1. From there, Tom shares his thoughts on the PGA Championship, what we saw from Aaron Rai, and what we didn't see from Rory or Scottie. Then we transition to his stories of playing Shinnecock Hills, the site of this year's US Open, . Tom then weighs in on the current state of the PGA of America, what's gone wrong with their leadership in recent years, and a story about the time he met Tony Jacklin. Speaking of Tony Jacklin, he joins me next. Tony is a World Golf Hall of Famer, a 2 time major champion, and a four-time European Ryder Cup Captain. Tony reflects on Aaron Rai's win at the PGA, and Rai becoming the first Englishman to win the tournament in over a century. We then get into the details from his historic Open Championship victory, his 7 stroke victory in the US Open, captaining Europe to Ryder Cup success in the 1980s, and the unforgettable concession from Jack Nicklaus at the 1969 Ryder Cup that forever became known as “The Concession.” Tony shares incredible stories about competing against golf's greatest players, his thoughts on the state of the DP World Tour, his relationship with Nicklaus over the years, and the impact of fellow legends like Arnold Palmer and Seve Ballesteros on the game of golf. This episode is packed with golf history, PGA Tour insights, Ryder Cup memories, golf instruction, putting tips, mental game advice, and behind-the-scenes storytelling from two of the game's most respected voices. If you love hearing stories from golf legends, major championship history, Ryder Cup stories, PGA Tour commentary, and instruction that can help your game improve, this is an episode for you. John Darch, Chairman and Director, and Ken MacLeod, President and CEO of Sonoro Gold Corp. (TSXV: SGO | OTCQB: SMOFF | FRA: 23SP), both join me to review multiple milestones achieved and catalysts on tap transforming the value proposition for their flagship Cerro Caliche Gold Project, located in Sonoro State of Mexico. John and Ken both outline the transformation that Sonoro Gold has gone through over the last year, with the updated Mineral Resource Estimate, and resources and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), the very large increase in their overall land package from 1,800 hectares to almost 9,000 hectares in 2 recent acquisition transactions. Thes increased land concessions build Cerro Caliche into a larger-scale gold mining project with multiple major mineralized zones stretching from the Agnico Eagle Santa Gertrudis deposit to the north down all the way to the Highlander Silver Mercedes Mine to the southeast. Next we got more details and initiatives around the commencement of the 50,000 meter drill program, which just got underway earlier this week. The focus will be on growing the resources, extending the mine-life, and exploring many of the areas across their new land concessions. The company is now taking a hybrid approach, growing through exploration across their expanded project footprint, while remaining very constructive on the future development and production set to begin upon receipt of their final MIA environmental permit in Mexico. Updated PEA Highlights: Base Case Prices of $3,500/oz gold and $48/oz silver Pre-Tax net present value discounted at 8% (“NPV8”)of $360 million Pre-Tax Internal Rate of Return (“IRR”) of 65% After-Tax NPV8”of $224 million After-Tax IRR of 50% Spot Prices of $5,186/oz gold and $88/oz silver Pre-Tax NPV8of $846 million Pre-Tax IRR of 121% After-Tax NPV8”of $525 million After-Tax IRR of 91% Gold recovery of 72% and silver recovery of 27% 10-year LOM with 459 k ounces (“oz”) of gold equivalent (“AuEq”) LOM annual average production of 46 k oz AuEq at 0.38 g/t AuEq Initial CAPEX costs of $83 million, including $11 million in contingency Sustaining capital costs of $26 million AISC of $1,902/oz AuEq Payback period of 1.7 years If you have questions for either John or Ken regarding Sonoro Gold, then please email those into to me at Shad@kereport.com. Brendan! joins The Boys for this Masters cleanup episode before jetting over to meet Andy in Scotland. Joseph immediately begins with some comments regarding his drive back to Atlanta alongside Brendan that featured 90s hip-hop and a spilled coffee in the precious GLS. From there, the trio wonder if Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler should just be the prohibitive Masters favorites for the next three or four years given their 1-2 finish this week without their "A games." There's also some debate about whether Rory has surpassed Phil Mickelson in the all-time rankings of golf. PJ and Joseph watched the final round back on TV and shared some thoughts on Russell Henley, Collin Morikawa, and Xander Schauffele that they didn't pick up on the ground on Sunday. The two also weigh in on the discourse surrounding the CBS broadcast, which was amplified even more by Kevin Kisner's comments making the rounds on X early Tuesday morning. Brendan then shifts the attention to the Schedule for the Week, beginning with a Signature Event at the RBC Heritage. Brendan openly states that there shouldn't be golf this week and sees the Heritage as a legacy event that will surely be impacted by the PGA Tour's ever-changing schedule and stance on wanting a piece of the monetary pie from the majors. He shares whispers from under the big tree at Augusta about these conversations and how big Tour sponsors may allocate their funds moving forward. With Andy out, PJ steps in and provides 5 Guys to Monitor This Week in Hilton Head, including one with an "unfair advantage" much like Rory allegedly had at ANGC. Joseph, PJ, and Brendan all make One-and-Done picks as Golf's Premier Gambling Podcast looks to stay hot after hitting a winner at the Masters. The "Event of the Year" is next on the schedule rundown with the Senior PGA Championship's move to April. PJ shares some important tee times and notable storylines for this year's event at The Concession, featuring the big debut of Rory (Sabbatini)! LIV Mexico City and the JM Eagle LA Championship are also previewed before moving on to the biggest news of the week so far: the installation of a pool on the 18th hole at Memorial Park. Brendan can't believe that the Chevron Championship is making its golf tournament all about a jump into some water and a friend of Joseph's was kind enough to provide photos of this small four-foot-deep pool next to the 18th green! Women's Hormonal HealthEndometriosis can be a painful and sometimes debilitating chronic disease in which tissue from the uterine lining grows outside of the uterus. According to the Yale school of medicine, even though it is one of the most common women's health conditions, affecting 1 in 10 women worldwide, it is one of the most misunderstood and misdiagnosed. It can take between four and 11 years for women to receive a correct diagnosis, according to the American Medical Association, and it has no cure. There are a host of other conditions that women navigate that experts say are under researched and misunderstood, including polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS, which is a common hormonal disorder, impacting 10% to 13% of women, that can lead to irregular or painful periods, weight gain, among other issues. According to the Society for Women's Health Research, almost half of women saw three or more clinicians before being diagnosed. And it is estimated that up to 70% of women with PCOS do not know they have it. Both endometriosis and PCOS are associated with fertility challenges. On Thursday's "Sound of Ideas," an expert in women's health helps us better understand these conditions and others. We'll learn why it can be so difficult to receive a diagnosis, as well as what treatment options are available. We'll hear directly from patients, who will share how these diseases have, in some cases, completely upended their lives. Guests:- Rachel Pope, M.D., OB/GYN & Chief of Female Sexual Health, University Hospitals- Megan Clarke, Patient with endometriosis- Megan Gallager, Patient who had thyroid removed twice- Sarah Lackney, Patient with uterine fibroids The Menu: New foods at Progressive FieldTomorrow is Opening Day for the Cleveland Guardians, and at Progressive Field, fans will find more than just a new roster. Fans don't just want their teams to win anymore — they want the sport itself to be flawless: perfect coaching, perfect officiating, perfect behavior, perfect “fairness,” perfect outcomes. In this episode of On The Ball, Ric Bucher explains why that expectation is a fantasy… and why technology, replay, and analytics have actually expanded the outrage economy instead of eliminating “human error.”Ric also takes a hard look at the growing “eliminate the NBA Draft to stop tanking” conversation — including Rich Paul's idea of treating incoming players like free agents — and lays out why it sounds great for agents and top prospects… but would crush competitive balance for small-market franchises. Then Ric pivots to the WNBA labor talks, arguing the players' union is approaching negotiations like it's a feel-good partnership — while owners hold nearly all the leverage. His message: if the players want real gains, they'll need organization, discipline, public pressure… and a willingness to risk uncomfortable outcomes.Sponsored by New Air Club — door-to-door private jet service built around value, comfort, and convenience. Day 1,390.Today, after another weekend of intense diplomatic activity, we take you to Berlin, where President Zelensky is meeting the American delegation – joined by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz – as Europe seeks to reassert itself in the peace process. We also examine the surge in military activity over the weekend, which saw multiple cities plunged into blackout, before turning to Germany's rapidly evolving position, where comparisons are increasingly being drawn between today and the events that sparked the Second World War.ContributorsFrancis Dearnley (Executive Editor for Audio). @FrancisDearnley on X.Dominic Nicholls (Associate Editor of Defence). @DomNicholls on X.James Rothwell (Berlin Correspondent). @JamesERothwell on X.SIGN UP TO THE ‘UKRAINE: THE LATEST' WEEKLY NEWSLETTER:http://telegraph.co.uk/ukrainenewsletter Each week, Dom Nicholls and Francis Dearnley answer your questions, provide recommended reading, and give exclusive analysis and behind-the-scenes insights – plus maps of the frontlines and diagrams of weapons to complement our daily reporting.
