This Lady Loves Sports with Pat Prescott

Chris Schauble is an award-winning TV news anchor on the KTLA Morning News in LA. He's known all over for his viral "Earthquake Face" but you might not know that he's an avid Broncos fan, a Laker fan and a sports Dad to 4 beautiful daughters. Hear it all in our conversation for This Lady Loves Sports. 

Although sports are on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic,  the NCAA is making strides to help solidify new rules around paying student athletes. The NCAA Board of Governors has announced that it supports rule changes that would allow student athlete compensation for third party endorsements and promotions related to and separate from athletics. The stage for this progress was set by California SB206, the Fair Pay For Play Act. California State Assemblyman Steve Bradford is one of the sponsors of this bill and he joins us to talk about it on This Lady Loves Sports.   

Bassist Marcus Miller is a sports fan! He says that a lot of musicians want to be athletes and a lot of athletes want to be musicians. That simple fact was the impetus behind Marcus meeting the late Wayman Tisdale, who became one of Marcus’ closest friends. Marcus has that story and many more to tell with Pat Prescott on a new edition of This Lady Loves Sports.

27 year-old local artist, Jiovanny Lopez found his talent by going through a tough time. In 2013, Jiovanny broke his clavicle while he was playing soccer. His whole life changed completely since that day. Due to the surgery, the doctor told him to find a way to keep his arm in motion so his arm wouldn’t become paralyzed.
